Peter didn't know if he believed in reincarnation. It was a concept from gods, wasn't it? And if the gods were real that meant reincarnation probably was too.

But were gods real?

Peter hadn't given much thought to the subject until his dying breath. Saving people like this, he knew he'd die eventually. He didn't think it would be this soon though. Heck, he was only seventeen!

But as blood dripped down his face and blurred his eyes, he knew he would die. Maybe he already had.

Now darkness came, and Peter knew there was nothing for him. No gods to greet him and no afterlife to take him.

Death was painful.

Shrieking, Peter shot upright, knocking heads with someone. "Ack! SORRY!" He blinked, clearing his vision.

It was white all around. Perhaps this was heaven? No, probably a hospital. Maybe he'd survived?

As he looked closer, he knew this place was no hospital. Pillars stretched up on either side of the area—not a room, no walls—and he was sitting on a cloud. But what gave it away was that this man in front of him was no doctor, and he certainly wasn't anyone Peter knew.

Blond hair cascaded around the man's shoulders. Clad in old looking armor, the man gave off a stoic aura. He didn't seem bad though. Almost friendly, if it weren't for the giant hammer resting at his side.

"You've awakened!" The man exclaimed, his eyes lighting up.

"God?"

"I am a god!" The man held out his hand, "Thor, god of Thunder."

"Peter. Parker. Peter Parker."

"Hello Peter, son of Parker," Thor grinned. "I'm here to tell you you're dead. However, Instead of Valhalla (A/N thats the place right) we'd like to offer you... Another option."

"Please don't say Hell."

"Reincarnation."

Blinking, Peter tilted his head. "Why?"

With a shrug, Thor responded. "You got lucky. My brother, Loki, he needs an apprentice. You'd be reincarnated into the world he calls home to learn magic. How does that sound?"

"Awesome as heck," Peter exclaimed.

"Good. Have fun!"

"Wait—this is happening now—"

The world grew blurry and everything merged together. Darkness filled Peter's vision...And then it was gone.

— — —

Wind swirled around the forest, sending leaves flying into the air. Chaos reigned in these woods, hence why they were called the Discordian Woods. That's also why the Demon King Loki called them home.

For the past 300 years Peter had been learning magic from Loki. He'd been granted immortality by Thor, though that only prevented death by old age, sickness, hunger, and other natural causes. Poison, weapons, and magic could still harm him.

Magic. What a wonderful word. Peter loved it. The flow of energy, the burst of excitement when a spell worked, the burn of frustration when it didn't. He loved all of it.

And now was about time he explored the world.

He had a fair grasp on this world's social system. Peter planned to explore the countries of Baguer, Nataduko, and Almochaz. (A/N Bag-oo-er, Knat-uh-do-co, Al-mo-ka-z.) Deciding to start with Baguer, Peter left the Discordian Woods and headed southeast.

Heading down the dirt road to the capital, Peter passed numerous small towns. The people were nice, but it wasn't until he was two days walk from the capital that he had his first meaningful encounter.

Wind shook the leaves of the trees, blowing through the grass and flowing through Peter's hair. A smile came to his face. Days like these he would spend at the park if he could. Back on Earth. He and Ned and MJ would go on walks, MJ sketching the animals and people they saw. Sometimes plants, if she was in the mood.

The only bad thing about this world was that his friends and family weren't here. May. Ned. MJ.

Yeah thats it. Not very many people, but he missed them.

As it got late, Peter set up a camp fire and started cooking. Technically, he didn't need to eat, but who would want to live without food?

It wasn't a half hour later when a carriage pulled up on the side of the road, moving smoothly until one of the wheels popped off.

Peter cringed back, expecting the carriage to crumble. Luckily it didn't, and the people inside exited the carriage.

"Well hello," Peter greeted, "isn't this a surprise?"

One of the passengers—King Karu of Baguer—nodded to him. "Do you mind if we share your fire?"

"Not at all." Peter watched the King help his wife—Queen Turo—out of the carriage, followed by their royal advisor, Numaro Kuzan. Lastly was someone without relations to royals, but someone Peter recognized instantly.

The person's mouth dropped upon exiting the carriage. Their voice a whisper, they spoke. "Peter?"

"Hi Ned."

"But you were dead!" Ned exclaimed, running over to hug his friend.

"I was," Peter responded, "it's a long story. Question is, how did you get here?"

"I'm some kind of summoned hero, I guess. I'm supposed to kill some Demon King or something. And the Demon King's apprentice."

"That's right," King Karu said, "Kill the Demon King Loki and his apprentice."

"Why?" Peter asked.

"You don't know? Do you live under a rock?" Karu's brow furrowed.

"No," Peter corrected, "try the Discordian Woods. Now please tell me what's so bad about Lokes?"

"Lokes? As in Loki? The Demon King Loki?" Shock was written on Karu's face.

"Yep. As in Loki, the Demon King," Peter responded, "What's he done wrong? I get that he's a mischief maker but he's literally the God of Mischief so It's not that surprising-"

"Loki is a god?"

"Yeah." Peter titled his head in Karu's direction. "Loki, Brother of Thor, Son of Odin. You don't know this?"

The others shook their heads.

"Well that would explain your issue! See, Lokes is just misunderstood. He causes trouble and inconveniences you, but has he ever killed anyone?"

"I suppose not..." Karu murmured.

"See, problem solved. Just talk to him. Maybe ask him to only make mischief one day a year."

"Thats... A smart idea."

And hence the reason we have April Fools Day.

I honestly have no idea what happened here. I'll probably re-write it at some point. Here's the original idea:

Isekai AU where Thor is the god of a bunch of a bunch of universes. Peter is Spiderman and has powers, doesn't know the avengers. Peter dies during battle and gets sent to this other universe where he has no clue how to use magic and is seen as useless—until he meets the demon king Loki.

Learns magic from Loki, becomes strongest magic user ever(aside from gods... but now Pete's immortal cuz Thor felt bad). Smartest and Strongest magic user ever—still has no social skills.

But maybe... Others have been reincarnated??? Peter runs into Ned who has been summoned by a king to defeat Loki and Loki's Apprentice...aka Peter.

Clearly it didn't go as planned. But ehhh. Anyway, figured I'd share some of my favorite Isekais.

Imma explain the genre real quick tho.

Typically in Japanese Manga, Isekai is a genre where the main character and sometimes friends exist within/are summoned to/are reincarnated in a magical world. Typically, these worlds are medieval in nature and have intelligent species other than humans. (Elves, Dwarves, Beastkin). Usually, the main character is some kind of strongest magic user, or weakest magic user, or both at the same time. Not usually an o-k magic user. Usually lots of fighting too. Almost always have a stat/fighting system based on video games.

Moving on, my favorites include:

Isekai Yururi Kikou: Raising Children While Being an Adventurer
This is a story about a guy that dies and gets reincarnated by the wind god of this magical world. He's instantly a really strong magic user, and ends up finding to extremely strong children in the forest. He has to take care of them while also unravelling their secrets and protecting his friends.

Marked for Failure, the World's Strongest Sage Reincarnates for a Do-Over!
This book follows the tale of the world's strongest magic user who wants to be even stronger. He reincarnates in the future hoping to advance his magic, only to find that the future's magic has fallen behind??? Even his weakest skills are considered legendary and so he sets out to fix the magic of this world.

The Man Picked Up by the Gods
So this story follows kind-hearted Ryoma after he's reincarnated as a child in another world. After spending years practicing magic, he finds himself forgetting how to interact with people. But once he saves the life of a noble, he finally gets a chance to explore the world with his pet slimes!

The Principle of a Philosopher by the Eternal Fool "Asley"
After accidentally becoming immortal, Asley spends 5,000 years studying magic with his familar—a dog named Pochi. With some urging from Pochi, Asley finally leaves his cave and explores the world, hoping to improve his magic even further.

The Reincarnated Prince Wants to Slack Off
After being reincarnated, Phil wants nothing more than to live a relaxed life. However he soon finds his life can be anything but normal after he convinces a beast of destructive legends to become his familiar. But maybe this isn't so bad—if only he could convince his familiar that death was not the answer to everything.

Anyway, if this genre interests you, you should check these books out! There might be animes for some of them but I dunno.

Have a nice day. Bai~

//EDIT\\

Hey its me

Just wanted to say that this is one of, like, three anime crossover type things I've got saved up in this book... Yeah.

Anyway bai~~
