(A/N)

Last A/N for a while, I promise

I made an update book so I don't spam y'all with A/Ns. It's called Update Book and it's on my profile.

I'll still have A/Ns at the end of chapters, but unless it's super important to this book this should be the last A/N to get it's own chapter.

Anyway thanks for reading and as a thanks you get a preview for a one-shot I'm unlikely to finish:

Clint tossed an apple in the air, catching it and turning it over in his hand when it came back down. He glanced at the spider tattoo that made it's place on the back of his hand, legs stretching up his fingers.

He looked over at Nat out of habit, eyes tracing the arrow the ran down her collarbone.

Smiling softly, Clint tossed the apple in the air again, and as he caught it his eyes settled on someone else.

"Hey Peter," Clint called. The boy glanced up from his homework, messy hair dancing in front of his eyes. "Do you know who your soulmate is?"

"Uh, yeah, actually," Peter shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oo!" Clint clapped his hands, "who?!"

"Oh! Would you look at the time? I should be going to do—uh—stuff!" Peter threw his homework into his bag. "See ya later! Bye!" The kid flew out of the room, causing Nat and Clint to send each other glances.

After a beat of silence, Clint spoke. "He's not the best at keeping secrets, is he?"

Nat shook her head. "Don't."

"Don't what?"

"Whatever you're planning." Nat jabbed a finger in Clint's direction. "If he doesn't wanna tell us, he doesn't have to." She paused. "And if you ever NEED to know, we can ask Tony."

"Fiiiiinee," Clint whined. He didn't mean that, and Nat knew it. She'd be dragged into this somehow. Some part of her felt bad for Peter. She pushed that part down, for once letting her curiosity get the best of her.
