Chapter 63 When a Bag is Stuck in the Vending Machine

A/N As always thank you guys for reading my story, and any help, advice, praise, ideas, criticism, or just you yapping in the comments will be read and greatly appreciated. If you guys have an awesome scene in your head you would like to see, you have an OC you want to include, or you want a monster/other characters to pop up in my story. Also, I deal mainly with fluff, so I'm horrible at things like smut and angst, so if you guys don't like those, you're in luck because you probably won't see much of it here!

"Is anyone busy?" Peter asked, poking his head into the common room.

The adults on the room looked up and shook their heads, it'd been a while since they'd had any threats, so the group just lounged around and tried not to interact with the paparazzi much.

"What would you just do if a vending machine was stuck?" Peter asked, going to web up a hammock and sit in it.

"Shake it duh," Tony said Clint agreeing with him, "That's the only real way to get a bag unstuck."

"Or you could stick your hand up the slot, that's what I would do," Steve pointed out, setting his StarkPhone down.

"Oooooh, I kicked the glass down once," Thor said, just trying to get into the conversation.

Natasha looked up from where she was reading a magazine, "Punch it," she said, Bucky nodding his head in agreement. He had taken off his metal arm for the day, just because he wanted to, no real reason.

"Or you could ask for help," Bruce said, though, it sounded more like a question than an answer. Wanda agreed with him, playing around with her magic, making random things around the room float around, just to expel a bit of energy.

"What would you do Spiderling?" Loki asked, laying down next to Wanda as he messed with her spells, clearly enjoying himself.

"Ask for help, I don't want to risk exposing myself if I did any of the other things," Peter said shrugging, webbing up a ball and tossing it to Loki, "What about you Uncle Loki?"

"Everything."

"Everything? Like, sticking your arm up the slot, shaking it, punching it, and asking someone for help?"

"Precisely," Loki said simply, now tossing the web-ball between him and Pietro, who agreed with Loki.

Suddenly there was a ding from the elevator, announcing someone's arrival.

"Hey Pep!" Tony yelled, his eyes brightening as he sat up, "What's up?" he asked, trying to sound as innocent as possible.

Pepper just rolled her eyes and handed Tony some paperwork, probably for Stark Industries, "You're not getting away that easily," she said, training her pencil skirt.

"Hey, Aunt Pepper?" Peter asked, swinging in his web-hammock.

"Yes, Petey?"

"What would you do if a bag of chips was stuck up a vending machine?"

Pepper thought for a moment, "Depends on what I'm wearing and where I am, but, usually I'll just stick my hand up the slot," she said, then left. Not after warning Tony about the deadline of the papers if course, and scaring the crap out of Tony, which was amusing for everyone on such a boring day.

Steve punched his fist in the air, "See, someone agrees with me," he said, turning to everyone else, "Wait, where's Vision?" he asked.

"Right here sir," Vision said, coming in from the kitchen.

"What would you do uncle Vision?" Peter asked again.

"Ask for help," Vision said without a thought, coming down to sit by Wanda, who picked up the new hobby of firing small energy balls at Loki, hoping to catch him off-guard and actually hit him for once.

Peter just nodded and accidentally fell asleep in his hammock. He didn't notice Steve whispering to Tony about carrying to bed, and he definitely didn't hear the collective, "Nah," as everyone voted to just let the webbing dissolve to wake Peter up.
