"Mom! Dad! I'm heading out!" I yelled as I bounded down the stairs of our floor in the Avengers Tower.

"Whoa! Where do you think you're going?" My mom asked, appearing in the doorway in front of me. I skidded to a stop to keep from crashing into her.

"I'm going out with some friends." I said and adjusted my bag on my shoulder. My mother looked at me skeptically,

" Clint, honey, come here please." My mom called, I sighed. My dad came down the stairs,

"What's wrong?" He asked. My mom motioned to me,

"You've always been able to tell when she's been lying." She said. My dad looked at me,

"Where you going?" He asked. Staring intently at me. It was always intimidating when he did this, hence why he could tell when I was lying.

"Out with friends." I said with a straight face. My dad's eyes scanned over my face for any signs, he gave a small satisfied nod.

"She's being honest as always, Laia." He said and kissed my head before ruffling my hair. I grunted and smoothed down my hair. He chuckled.

" You got your knife?"

"On my belt, mom."

"Back up knife?"

"In my boot."

" Back up for the back up?"

"In my bag."

"Good girl." My mom said and kissed my hair.

"Have fun, little one." My dad said and hugged me.

"I will, love you guys!" I said and bounded to the elevator and pressed the button for the lobby.

*Time skip brought to you Loki visiting Arendale and having an Ice contest with Elsa*

"That was a great movie, Meg." Ziza, one of my friends, said as we came out of the movie theater.

"Yea, that Four was hot." Amy said. We had watched Divergent, and my friends were gushing over Four, played by Theo James. I just rolled my eyes at them.

"Yea, yea, yea..." I muttered, kicking a rock.

"Jeez, what's wrong? Normally you don't stop talking about cute guys." Ziza said.

"Yea, especially that Slovakian. What was his name....Pietro, was it?" Amy teased, nudging me. My face went red,

"Well....erm...." I trailed off.

"Are you two together?" Amy asked. I looked at her.

"What?! No! I'm 17 and he's, like, 29 or so!" I said a little to quickly. My friends just gave me a skeptical look.

"Yea, sure. Listen, we gotta go, but tell Pietro we said hi!" Ziza said and walked away with Amy. I waved goodbye and continued walking to Central Park. I inhaled the sweet smell of Dogwood trees that were freshly blooming.

I always loved Spring because of this.

I jumped when arms wrapped around my waist and went to reach for the knife in my belt until I heard his voice.

"Ooh, easy there, Prinzessa." He purred against my ear. I leaned my head on his shoulder,

"You should know better than to sneak up on me, Pietro!" I whined. He just chuckled and kissed my ear,

"Sorry." He said and moved to walk beside me, holding my hand. I hugged his arm as we walked,

"Its fine. Just don't do it again unless you want a knife some place." I replied. He paled, I chuckled.

We walked for a little bit before my stomach growled.

"Hungry?" Pietro asked, I nodded. "Good. There's this pizza place not that far that I've been wanting to try."

"Sounds good." I said smiling and we headed to the pizza place.

I walked quietly down the hall to my room. I was almost to my door when the hall light flicked on,

"Megan Louisa Barton! It is 1 in the morning, where have you been?!" My Aunt Jillian yelled, my parents had gone out on a mission with Aunt Natasha. I gulped and my palms grew sweaty.

"Young Lady, come here." Uncle Loki said sternly, keeping his voice calm. I turned and slowly walked to my Aunt and Uncle.
