How You Met:

You had just been hired as a secretary for S.H.I.E.L.D. You were busy scurrying back and forth carrying everything from files to coffees. Finally you were called into the office of Phil Coulson.

"Yes, sir?" you asked, entering the room.

"Miss L/N, wasn't it?"

"Yes, sir."

"I need you to take these files to Director Fury. Uh, please," he quickly added. Normally he wouldn't bother using his manners, but there was something about you that he liked.

"Yes sir, Agent Coulson." You couldn't stop the smile that crept across your face.

You Meet Again:

As you were a secretary, you often saw Phil, whether it was delivering something to him or taking something to somebody else. You were very efficient at your job.

He Asks You Out:

You were dropping off some files to Phil.

"Thanks. Just put them on the desk there." You did as he asked.

"Anything else, sir?" you asked.

"No. Wait, are those Captain America earrings?" You reached for one the tiny shields dangling from your ears.

"Y-yes... I'm sorry, are they inappropriate? I just think Captain America is awesome, ever since I was a little girl," you blushed.

"No, no. I think Captain America is awesome too," he smiled. You gave him a shy smile in return.

"S-so, um, if you don't have any plans for dinner, can I take you out? I know a great little place," he offered.

"I'd like that."

Your First Date:

Phil took you to a great little Mexican place. You spent most of the time talking about how awesome Captain America was.

Your First Kiss:

After that first date, you had begun frequently seeing each other. It had taken some getting used to, but you started calling each other by your first name when you were on dates, and you last name at work. Today the two of you were taking a walk in the park. You stopped on a bridge to watch the water flowing underneath.

"Um, Y/N?"

"Yes, Phil?"

"Uh, we've been dating for a while now and I was wondering if... I could kiss you," he blushed.

"I thought you'd never ask," you smiled. Phil smiled back and captured your lips in a sweet kiss.
