Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. : Captain Fanboy

I'm really excited to share this one guys! It is about Coulson being the fanboy that we all know he is. This story takes place right after episode 20 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. right after Daisy gets back from Hive, of course it doesn't fit in very well with what happens in the next two episodes, but who cares. I had soooo much fun writing this I hope you enjoy

Daisy watched the red brick of the walls go by, as she slowly walked down the hallway after getting a blood transfusion. She had finally been able to convince Simmons that she was fine and just wanted to go back to her room. As she walked past Coulson's office, she heard a thud, she turned and noticed that the door was open so she walked over to the open door and looked inside. Coulson was bending down to pick up a box off the floor. He turned around and stopped when he saw Daisy standing in the doorway.

"Daisy, how are you holding up?" Coulson asked as he put the box down on his desk.

"Fine, it's just weird being back after everything I did." Daisy said quietly. Coulson looked up at her seriously and said.

"Don't think for one second that anyone blames you for what you did, we understand, and we're all immensely happy your home." Daisy knew he was right, but she couldn't help but feel bad. They both stood, awkwardly looking around the room, until Daisy broke the silence by saying.

"What's in the box?" when he heard the question Coulson got a huge grin, he motioned for her to come closer.

"With all the news stories about the whole Iron Man and Captain America ordeal, it made me remember that I haven't dusted off my old collection in a while." Coulson opened up the box to reveal a stash of Captain America memorabilia.

"Wow A.C.  you're a total fanboy aren't you?" Daisy said as she stared at the contents of the box.

"Yeah, I guess I might have gotten a little obsessed, when I was a kid I never imagined that I would actually meet Captain America." Coulson admitted, picking up a Captain America action figure.

"I have to confess that I'm a little bit of an Avengers Fangirl too," said Daisy as she followed Coulson's lead by picking up a Bucky Barnes figure. "Who's this?" she asked.

"That's Bucky Barnes." Coulson began explaining to Daisy who Bucky was, and before they knew it more than an hour had passed while they rummaged through the contents of the box. There were T-shirts, posters, coffee mugs, action figures, and all sorts of other things, Daisy listened eagerly to the stories behind each one. Finally they reached the bottom of the box, the only thing left was a small, black, pouch. While Coulson was busy sorting his comic books, Daisy picked up the pouch and pulled out a stack of trading cards, but these trading cards were different, they were stained red with blood.

"What happened to these?" Daisy asked, holding the cards out towards Coulson. Coulson looked up and saw the cards in her hands, he took the cards from her and slowly flipped through them before saying.

"They were in my pocket when I was killed, it was the day I met Captain America and I wanted him to sign them for me, unfortunately I died before I got the chance to ask him." Coulson explained with a disappointed expression. Daisy began concocting a plan in her head and soon said,

"Hmm, maybe there's a way to fix that, can I borrow those?"

Steve Rogers sat at his usual table at the coffee shop, thinking back on the events of the previous week, when he heard a voice next to him say "Captain?" he looked up to see a young woman, with short brown hair, standing next to his table.

"Yeah." Steve responded.

"I'm agent Daisy Johnson, do you remember a man named Phil Coulson?" Daisy asked.

"Of course I do, he was killed by Loki on the helicarrier, he was a good man." Steve said sullenly.

"He was my friend, he had these with him when he was killed," She pulled out a stack of blood stained cards and handed them to him. "He had wanted you to sign them that day, but never got the chance to ask." Without a word Captain Rogers took the cards, pulled out a pen and signed Captain America on them.
