This is the first thing I ever posted to ao3 so figured I'd post it here as well for good measures.

It's really cringy tho.

Thor was happy. For the first time in a very long time.

Since the final battle with Thanos, since he let Thanos get away with snapping away half of humanity, since he...since he let Thanos take his little brother away from him. And Thor did nothing but watch as Loki slowly had the life chocked out of him, till he was just a corpse floating in space.

But now he's back. Loki's back. Though it's not his Loki. It's Loki from the battle of New York who had gotten taken by the TVA or something like that. Thor wasn't concerned with the details. All he cares about is that his little brother has returned, and he would do anything to protect him, or so he tried.

It all happened so fast. New Asgard was under attack, by an all powerful being named Kang, or multiple Kangs. Loki and himself had gotten separated in the heat of the battle.

And then when it was over, Thor had laughed and called out for Loki, "Loki! We did it. Good job little...brother." He shouted.

But then Thor's face dropped at he stood on top of the hill and saw someone lying on the ground in a suit he recognized all to well.

'No no no! Not again, this can't happen again!'

Thor ran to his adopted brothers side in an instant. Pulling him onto his lap as the light slowly faded from Loki's eyes, "Loki, Loki, LOKI! Stay with me, c'mon you can't leave me again, you can't please Loki I just got you back."

Loki looked up at his older brother, " 'm sor..sorry." He mumbled against Thor's shoulder as Thor pulled him into a tight hug.

Loki looked up past Thor, "Br..brother, the sun...it's..shining on us."

Thor looked behind him. And Loki was right, the sun was starting to set as the life drained from Loki's body.

"I..I told y'u it wou'd." Loki whispered, smiling up at his brother before his eyes closed and he sagged in Thor's arms. All remaining life draining from his body.

Thor hung his head as tears fell onto Loki's all to still face, "No, i'm so sorry Loki, I'm so sorry." He whispered miserably as he watched the sun finally set behind the land, until it was visible no more, and all Thor could see, was darkness.

Lmao this is so bad. I promise I'm a better writer then this.
