You were going to die, or at least you thought you were. What was the possibility that aliens would fly through a hole in space and start destroying the place you called home? New York was currently being invaded by aliens, so I would think about 112%. You were trapped in a building, one of the only grocery stores this side of the city. The small radio someone had managed to start up was broadcasting what was happening elsewhere in the city right now. However, there was only one thing that caught your attention. It wasn't the radio, but rather someone walking around outside, looking through the windows for survivors. You tried to hide, but he saw you before you could escape. His bright blue eyes burned into your (your eye colour) ones. He began to march your way, sending a chill down your spine and making your heart skip a beat. The emotion on his face was incomprehensible as he walked towards your location. He stopped in front of you, looking down on your scratched face. You locked eye contact with him, trying to figure out what he was going to do. He looked over at his sceptre, the stone glowing blue. You could see the reflection of the stone in his eyes, making them appear even more vibrant. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He held out his hand, every inch of your being telling you not to trust him. After all, it was because of him that the aliens had unleashed havoc on New York. However, the look in his eyes made your heart tell you otherwise. With one shaky movement, your hand had gripped onto his. He quickly helped you to your feet, and took a good look at you. His eyes seemed to lose their vibrance as his expression softened. He then let go of your hand, retreating and leaving you there on your own. The image of your utterly terrified expression was imprinted into his mind, the look of horror in your eyes. Why you accepted his help was beyond him. Even after everything he's done, why would anyone trust him?

Loki looked around, buildings collapsing, flames burning and people screaming.
