Bucky Barnes - Catch Em' All
Based on a dream I had the other night.
You were looking for Bucky. When he woke up, he told you that he'd remembered another mission that HYDRA forced him to do. He felt terrible, and wanted to forget. He wanted to distance himself from everyone, thinking that he was too dangerous to stay at home. Much to your dismay, he'd went for a walk to clear his head but never returned. After a few hours, you'd started to panic and went to look for him, but you couldn't find him anywhere. The sky had gone dark and the sun was replaced by the moon. You wandered around the streets, nearing the park you and Bucky visited frequently to sit in the tree and complain about things. To your surprise, there were dozens of people roaming through the park and wandering on footpaths, and they were all holding their phones out in front of them. From what you'd heard, you knew exactly what these people were doing; trying to catch em' all.
You then noticed someone sitting on a tree branch. They clearly weren't there for the same reason as everyone else. Despite only his back being visible, you recognised him immediately and rushed over.
"Bucky," you said, putting your hand gently on his shoulder, "What are you doing here?"
"I don't belong here," he answered, a pout that was both adorable and sad at the same time on his face.
"No, you don't. You belong at home, curled up under a blanket with the heater on. You had me worried sick. You've been gone all day."
"I don't know why you care so much. I did so many terrible things, (Y/N)," he looked at you.
"Bucky, I care because I love you, and don't ever think that's going to change. Those things that HYDRA made you do were just that. You're not Winter anymore. You're the Bucky I know and love."
He jumped down off the branch and began walking in the opposite direction. Before he could get too far, you ran over to him and wrapped your hands around him, your face pressed firmly into his back. You knew hugs were his weakness. He knew they were yours too.
"I love you," he said, a smile on his face, "I don't know what I did to deserve you."
"I love you too, Buck."
He then whipped around to face you and pulled you into another hug. You pressed your face into his chest, neither of you daring to break the hug. It was cold, and you were both now warm.
Eventually, you had to let go so you could walk home, hand in hand. Staying practically attached to the hip with Bucky, you smiled as you neared home.
"What were those people even doing out there with their phones?" Bucky asked, utterly confused.
You smirked, "They were playing a game where you have to find things."
"Who goes outside in this weather to find things?"
"I did. I went to find you and I'm freezing. I guess they must love that game, but not as much as I love you."
When you got home, you and Bucky both put on your warmest pyjamas and jumped on the sofa and wrapped yourselves in a blanket. Pulling you into a warm hug, Bucky smiled at you. After showing Bucky some videos about Pokémon (he desperately wanted to know what you were talking about), he kissed your forehead before speaking.
"I'd suck at that Pokerman game," he said, holding back a laugh, "I wouldn't want to catch them all. I've already got the best one."
"Did you just call me a Pokémon?"
"Maybe," he chuckled.
"As sweet as that is, that was probably the funniest thing you've ever said," you laughed, "I love you, Buckaroo."
"If I was a Pokermon, that'd definitely be my name," he said proudly.
"You're such a dork."
"I love you too," he said smiling, before hugging you tighter.

That was probably the most random thing I've ever written, but hey, that's how my dreams are. I hope you liked it! Comment what you thought!
