#20 - "You told me you hated Britney Spears."

When you woke up in the morning there was a heavy arm around your waist and a warm body pressed to your back. You turned under Tony's arm to face him. His face is calm and peaceful. You smile at the thought that right now he isn't stressed and he is resting, which is hard to get him to do. You lie your head back down and drift off to sleep again.

A few hours later your eyes fluttered open again but only this time you were met with a pair of soft brown eyes. You felt a twinge of pain in your lower region and you immediately knew what it was. The beginning signs of dreaded cramps and back pain.

"You okay, beautiful?" Tony asks, voice still deep with sleep.

"Um maybe, I need to go to the bathroom right now." You quickly stand and scurry off the the bathroom. Without going into to much detail you had most definitely started your period but the period gods were looking out for you and it didn't go though your shorts so Tony's sheets were safe.

After quickly running to the walk in closet in Tony's room and running back to the bathroom to change, you made your way back to a very confused Tony. You lay back next to him and cuddle back into his side.

"What's up sweetheart?" Tony asked, glancing down at you. You shrugged, not wanting to make a big deal about it.

"My period started, it's not that bad." You nonchalantly replied.

"Well then we can just hang out all day today, okay? Does that sounds good? We can make breakfast, and then cuddle on the couch and watch movies all day?" Tony asked. You smiled into his soft t-shirt.

"That sounds lovely."

After finally getting out of bed you both made your way to the kitchen floor of the tower. The tower was quiet, which was strange. You guessed everybody was either relaxing, working out, or still sleeping. You both decided that chocolate chip pancakes would be an amazing breakfast and you both began to get out the proper ingredients.

"JARVIS, can you please play some music?" Tony asked as you both mixed together the ingredients.

"Of course, sir." The AI unit replied. As stereotypical as it is, 'Highway to Hell' by AC/DC began to play throughout the speakers in the kitchen. You both sang along happily to the music, the pain in your lower back seemingly disappearing.

Tony dropped a pancake on the stove as the song began to change. The beginning notes of 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' by Britney Spears came through the speakers and you spun around to see Tony smiling and mouthing along to the lyrics.

"You told me you hated Britney Spears." You laughed. He shrugged and took the pancake off the stove.

"She has some good music! Besides I was obviously drunk when I said that." He laughed. After making more pancakes the song changed again and '22' by Taylor Swift began to play.

"Okay, babe, I love you but what's with this new music taste?" You laughed again.

"I'm not actually sure how that on got on there." He replied. You both went to the lounge room and began eating your breakfast, sat very close to each other. After deciding on a movie the opening credits started and you both relaxed into each other, happy and content as could be.
