It was you and Steve's 1 year anniversary. He was always on missions but you were very understanding. When you woke up and went into the kitchen he wasn't there. You hoped he would be coming home that day so you decided to make a nice picnic for the 2 of you. It was 12:00 by the time you were done and Steve still wasn't there. You put the basket in the fridge and decided to binge fuller house and play on your phone. It was 4:00 and Steve was no where to be seen. You were worried so you called Fury. He answered and told you Steve was fine and would be back latest 1 week. Now you were pissed!! He had probably completely forgotten about your anniversary and he made you worried and you missed him so much but he wasn't there. You thought, played on your phone, and waited till 11:00. You went to bed at 11:30 after taking a shower. When you woke up the next morning there was Steve in the kitchen. You were relived but pissed. He saw that you looked mad and asked what was wrong? You said oh I don't know may it's because YOU MISSED OUR ANNIVERSARY CAME HOME A DAY LATE DIDNT CALL OR TEXT AND FORGET ABOUT MISSING OUR ANNIVERSARY YOU COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT IT AND THAT PICNIC IN THE FRIDGE TAKE IT AND GET OUT I DONT WANT IT OR YOU!!!!!! He said come on y/n I'm so sorry I forgot I've been busy and I just took some time off of work to spend time with you. You said I DONT CARE TAKE THE PICNIC AND GET OUT!!!!! He said please I'm so so so so sorry!! At this point he was about to cry. You said no please leave I won't ask again!! He grabbed the picnic and left knowing you wouldn't relent. Once he was gone you got his favorite hoodie snuggled up in it and cried. Cried cause you had lost the love of your life. Cried because he wasn't their on your anniversary and cried just because everything was going wrong. You spent the whole day crying and listening to sad music or watching tv. It was the afternoon and you got a text from Nat saying to get dressed up nice but comfy.

He said y/n my love, I am so incredibly sorry that I missed our anniversary I got the dates mixed up. I love you so much and I want to make it up to you so if you will please get on my bike. You put the flowers in a vase, the chocolate in the fridge, and Steve helped you put the necklace on. You said ok but what about the puppy also what should we name him?? He got a side car out of the garage and said the dog can go in here. You said what about the name?? He said you can name him. You named him Cody. You got on his bike and put Cody in the side car. He took you to the beach were there was an amazing picnic set up and it was super romantic.

You guys played with Cody and had dinner and it was perfect!! You finished eating and were cuddling with Steve and Cody when Steve said I really love you and want to be with you forever. He pulled out a ring from his back pocket and said will you do the honor of marrying me?? You said of course I will I love you so much!!!! 4 months later you guys got married!!!
