Peter's p.o.v. 

About 5 years ago I met Cooper. We had become good friends and started dating. 

You may be wondering how did we meet and what caused good friends to become more than friends well I'm going to tell you.

Meeting : 

Clint had invited everyone to his farm house. When they got there I had to share a room with Cooper. At first I didn't like him. I thought he was a self absorbed, coffee addicted, archer, with too much humor for his own good. As I got to know Cooper I realized he was a coffee addicted archer but he was also kind and funny. We started to get along really well. When me and the rest of the avengers left I thought I would never see Cooper again. 

When Clint told everyone Cooper would be joining everyone and living in the tower. I was so happy everyone thought I would explode. 

Started dating : 

I had begun to catch feeling for Cooper but didn't think he kicked me back. Cooper had started to like me but didn't think I liked him. 

On the same day I was gonna tell him he was gonna tell me. We went up to each other and said "I have something to tell you" I told him "I'll count to 3 then we say it" "1, 2, 3," at the same time we said "I like you! Will you please go out with me" we both gasped then got the biggest smiles on our faces ever. 

The first date : 

He was planning the date. He told me he had big plans for it. All I knew was it was all going to be outside. We were about to go on our date when it started raining. Everything was ruined. Cooper was mad and sad cause he had worked so hard. I grabbed his arm, pulled him onto the couch, turned on a movie, ordered pizza, got him coffee, and cuddled up next to him. I told him "hey, it's not your fault. You can't stop rain. Yeah it sucks that it is ruined but we can still have a date. I already set everything up. Pizza is on the way, I picked out a movie, and there's coffee on the coffee table. We are gonna have a great date, okay." "Okay" 

The engagement (they met at 15 but at this point are 18) : 

He told me to meet him in our garden. When I got there it was beautiful. 

He was standing beside the chair on one knee. He said "Peter I have loved you for 3 years. Please do me the greatest honor of my life and marry me" I said "yes of course I love you so much"

Present day : 

Cooper walk-in as I finished showing Ben and Lilly the picture album and telling the story of our relationship. 

Cooper : "What are you guys doing"

Peter : "I was telling them the story of our relationship"

Cooper : "Did you tell them how and why we adopted them" 

Peter : "Oops I forgot. Here I'll do it now" 

Adoption : A very pregnant women was being mugged by a man with a gun. Me and Cooper had been walking home from the store when we saw her. I tried to help her but he shot her in the heart. We raced her to the hospital where they did an emergency c-section to save the children inside her. They told us she was 9 months pregnant and was going to give birth any day. They also said the father had been killed and she had no family that was responsible enough to have a child and that they where going to give the twins to an orphanage. We asked if we could keep them. She told us we could as long as a social worker came and looked at our house. We had been ready to adopt so we showed her the paper. She told us to name the kids then they could bring in the adoption papers. 

I named the boy : Ben after my uncle that passed away 

Cooper named the girl : Lilly after his best friend that passed away

We signed the papers and took them home. 

Lilly said "who where the children?? Can we meet them??" 

Cooper said "sweetheart, you and your brother are the kids."

Ben said "so who's this Cooper guy you love and shouldn't you be with him and not daddy?"

I said "Ben, Cooper is your dad. That's his name."

"Oh ok" 

They all snuggled on the couch watching star wars and being a happy family.
