Cliches

I won't get too into it, im just going to share my view on it

I feel like the reason people think that the "Im not like other girls" books/TV shows/movies and the "Lost princess taking back her kingdom from evil" are very cliche compared to the "I'm not like other boys" and its prince taking back his kingdom from evil" is because the the strong female MC being brave and beautiful and smart and blah blah blah is OVERUSED!

I do understand that some people do like cliches but I prefer to stay away from them because they're all the same story, just different characters and slightly different plots with the same ending and the same challenges and the same goals

I personally prefer the MC in books movies and TV shows to be a guy because then it spices things up

I do read and wat h stuff with female main characters from time to time if the story really catches my attention

I dunno it's hard to explain really

My point is, I feel like the strong, independent and stunningly talented, rough childhood female MC in books is getting old, thus making them a cliche and non enjoyable. In my opinion anyways

AND NO I DONT WANT TO KNOW WHETHER OR NOT U LIKE CLICHE BOOKS
