It had taken what felt like a lifetime to finally accept that you were interested in Wanda and admit that to not just yourself but her too. Luckily, she was interested in you too and you were both glad to take the risk of taking your friendship to another level, beyond your work together with the avengers and general friendship to something romantic. A simple dinner at a restaurant that you had both wanted to go to seemed like the perfect first date and it truly was.

The dinner went by with lots of conversation and smiles and all you knew was that nothing could have gone better for the actual date. You desperately wished that you wouldn't have to end the date, so you asked Wanda if she wanted to walk back home instead of getting a taxi to give you a bit longer together. She agreed and hand in hand, the two of you headed back to the Avenger's compound, gladly continuing to talk until you were back in the compound, stood outside of her bedroom.

"I had a really lovely night," Wanda smiled, holding a hand on the door handle, not wanting to move it as it would signify the end of such a perfect date.

"So, did I," you said. "I thought maybe it would be awkward to go on a date after we had been friends for so long, but it was far from it. There wasn't a dull moment."

Wanda nodded her head. "I would love to do this again some time, if you do of course."

A grin curled onto your lips. Although you had loved the date, you had feared that maybe Wanda had been polite and didn't want to continue pursuing something romantic, but this seemed to suggest otherwise.

"Of course, I want to. I don't know if anything could beat this date, though I am excited to see if we can," you grinned.

Wanda squeezed your hand softly and you let all your confidence swell within you and leap out in a gesture of romance and love. You leaned forward and checked her expression to see if she consented to the act. She nodded her head gently allowing you to continuing moving closer to her so that you could press your lips to hers in a gentle kiss, leaving the two of you smiling uncontrollably as you exchanged goodnights and headed off to your own bedrooms.
