"I don't think you really want this though, if this was something you actually wanted I would see you trying just a little bit harder." Thor's snide comments echoed through your head as you sunk deeper into your squat. With shaking knees and a back that felt as if it were going to crack you pushed upwards to a standing position and rested the heavy weights on the rack. You felt as if you're entire body was set to cave in as Thor lifted your personal best with one hand and set it softly on the mat. "Not bad, not as good as me obviously but we can't all be gods can we?" With unnecessary force Thor took the towel that was slung across his shoulder and lobbed it across the gym, almost knocking your already week body to the floor.

"I asked you to help me get in shape, not torture me. If I knew you were going to be this hard on me I would have asked Steve." Thor laughed as he racked more weights onto the squatting bar.

"If you want to get in shape, and trust me I know what being in shape means, then you just need to trust me. I'm not going to let you get hurt or injured, who better to spot you than one of the strongest men on Earth? Besides, it matters very little to me, if you lose..." Thor tapped your admittedly slightly oversized stomach "or not you're still going to end up paying me. You already know that it doesn't bother me, you're perfectly fine as you are, of course I can understand you wanting to looking a bit more like the most Handsome Odinson but if you don't want to, then don't."

"I want to, I'm doing this for me, you don't have to tell me I don't need to. I know I'm fine I just want to get a little bit fitter."

"Okay so how about we stop moaning, we get a grip and we carry on." Thor smiled cockily. "You've already had me waffling on long enough, if you were as strong as you were smart you would be competition even for myself." Thor gently pushed you back against the squat rack. "I am hard on you because i care for you, and I want you to achieve all your goals. Now stop being a bitch and get to squatting."
