Bucky Barnes- Rescue (c)
Taking your daughter to the park seemed like a good idea when you left the house this morning but now that you were screaming her name at the top of your lungs whilst running around the children's playpark searching for her. You had let her play amongst the other children whilst you sat off to the side on a bench seen as she was wearing a bright orange jumper and you could see the whole climbing frame from your seat. You didn't even question her going back to play when she returned her orange jumper to you as she was getting warm. With her jumper, you looked away for a second to put it away in your bag and when you looked back up, you couldn't see her anywhere. You tried not to panic but when you scanned the area and couldn't see her, you instantly went into panic mode.
You started to call her name normally, but within a few calls you were almost in tears as you shouted her name, not caring that other people were staring at the crazy woman screaming and running around. As you looked around the playground, you failed to see her, and you were almost at your breaking point of calling the police when you noticed a little girl in the arms of a brunette man, and you realised it was your daughter.
Maternal strength filled you as you rushed over to her, ready to kick the arse of the tall muscular man with your baby in his arms before you got close enough to recognise him, and your worry began to wash away. It was your boyfriend, Bucky, who had luckily found her and you no longer felt the need to worry about whomever was with your daughter and no longer needed to fight.
"Y/D/N!" You exclaimed as you got close enough, pulling her from his arms to hold her close to you. "I almost lost you."
You noticed your daughter crying, her lip quivering as you put her back onto her feet.
"What happened?"
"She scraped her knee. I was running past and saw her and came to the rescue. We were trying to find you," Bucky said.
You reassured your daughter that it was okay, kissing your finger to press it to her knee that was a little red and sore but nothing that kisses, and cuddles wouldn't help.
"Thank you, Bucky," you smiled softly. "You're always there when we need you."
"Anytime."
