Remy LeBeau- Domestic Life (c)

When people saw your home, none of them could grasp that Remy lived here with you. Anyone that knew Remy knew he liked to party, to gamble, and to drink, domestic life didn't seem like something he'd enjoy, but he did.

You had married Remy a few years ago. You first met Remy in a bar, you worked there and he was drinking there. You had changed since then.

To be honest when you met Remy you never thought you would ever have your dream of being a Mother and a Wife, with a home that you could be proud of. Just when you got to know Remy he also wanted a domestic life for the day, and a party life for the night.

As of usual Remy came home late, and was having a lie in so you were up early and getting everything prepared for when he awoke.

You had been cooking a full English breakfast when arms wrapped around your waist. Lips pressed against your neck as you were pulled to a firm chest. You let out a soft laugh looking over your shoulder to see Remy, with bedhead, smiling in between kissing your neck.

"Morning darling," you smiled, continuing to cook, trying not to be too distracted by Remy's actions.

"Good morning ," he whispered against the skin on your neck.

"If you keep on at that, I am going to burn breakfast," you chuckled.

He pouted pulling away, going to make coffee and sit down at the table.

Breakfast was done after a couple of minutes before you served it up and put it a plate in front of each of you.

"Thank you," he smiled, "I do love when you are embracing our domestic life. You cook, you clean, and you keep me in line."

You chuckled at him, "aren't I a lucky little wife? But you take me for granted or make a sexist remark, I will not clean up after you ever and I certainly won't cook for you."

He ate a mouthful of food, letting out a moan of satisfaction.

"And be denied this?" he asked gesturing to the plate, "I'd give up poker, if it made you happy. But you'd never make me do that right?"

You grinned at him.

"My dear, I shall never make you give up poker. When I met you I knew life wouldn't be simple, you are a mutant and night life is your happy place, getting to have this life with you now makes me happy."

He put down his cutlery, putting out his hands until you rested your hands into his. He squeezed them softly.

"Y/N, my happy place was where alcohol and parties were but that has been changed. Here is my happy place. Being here with you, being happy with you, that is all I can ask for," he whispered.
