Dialogue Prompt- 15. "So, I found this waterfall..."

The Avengers had gone on holiday to Tony's private island. They were allowed to bring their significant other, so Bruce had invited you seen as you had been dating for two years.

Even though you all had gone away together, you were doing your own thing. It was the second day there. Yesterday you spent the day with the girls talking and relaxing but today Bruce had woken you up telling you to put on comfortable shoes.

"Where are we going?" you asked.

"So, I found this waterfall..."

You smiled softly, "you found a waterfall?"

"Yeah I went for a wander yesterday and there was the waterfall. It looked nice, I thought you'd like it."

You nodded before you both set of walking. It took a few hours of walking, and a lot of talking and laughing.

Soon enough you got there. Your feet ached but when you got there a blanket was lying on the floor with a basket on it. Looking at your boyfriend he smiled at you.

The waterfall was beautiful and he had set up for a picnic for you to both eat.

Together you sat down on the blanket and looked at the running water.

"This is beautiful Bruce," you smiled softly.

"Not as beautiful as you are," he grinned.

Looking down you could feel your cheeks heating up, and a crimson colour covering them.

"I had a different reason to bring you here Y/N, other than knowing you'd love it."

"Are you going to kill me?" you said awkwardly.

"No," he chuckled.

He took a deep breath.

"I love you Y/N. You have made my life brighter, and I don't know why you put up with me but you do. I want to spend every day with you and I would be so honoured if you felt the same," he fumbled with his pocket as he moved so he was on one knee, "will you marry me Y/N?"
