19. Bruce Banner
Dialogue Prompt- 19. "The paint's supposed to go where?"
You had been recruited along with the rest of the Avengers to decorate the new house Tony had bought in the middle of nowhere so that he and Pepper could escape from the world of SHIELD and Iron Man and just be happy.
He was going to hire decorators but he could force his friends to work for him, as it meaning no one but the people close to him knew where his hiding spot was.
You weren't an Avenger officially, you were dating Bruce and helped him and Tony in the lab every once in the while but Bruce didn't want to get you involved in this business as it would mean you could be hurt by anyone that wanted to hurt the Avengers or SHIELD in general.
Tony told you all what you were doing. He was sending different people to different rooms to paint the walls. It was going to be a project over a few days and Pepper thought they were all on a mission, whilst you'd told her you were visiting friends.
Today's goal was to paint all the rooms. Tony showed the Avengers which room to work in giving them more than enough paint before showing you and Bruce to one of the many bedrooms.
"Okay put this paint on that wall. That one of that wall. Use this for the skirting boards and this one for the ceiling," Tony said pointing to each of the tins of paint, "when you are finished tell me and I'll give you a new job."
With that he left the two of you in your tatty clothes expecting you to get on with the work.
"The paint's supposed to go where?" you chuckled.
He smiled at you popping open the can of paint for feature wall.
"Wait let me cover the skirting boards in tape," you told him.
Grabbing the roll of masking tape that Tony had left on the ladder you got onto your hands and crawled around the room putting the tape down. You felt eyes on you.
Looking over your shoulder, you saw Bruce staring at you. As soon as he saw you had seen him staring he blushed and attempted to look busy.
"I don't mind you staring, but at least be productive whilst you do so," you laughed.
"I wasn't staring," he blushed.
"I'd be lying if I said when you bent over I didn't check out your arse," you smiled.
His cheeks became even redder. Your smile grew as you proceeded to work.
