"I'm sorry okay?" Peter says with a smirk, not really meaning it.

"You asshole that's not a genuine apology." I snap whilst browsing the shelves of Delmar's.

That's when his muscled arms snake round my waist. Peter bumping into me slightly from behind. Which in turn gets me blushing. I may have a major crush on my best friend since I moved to Queens when I was nine. I may not.

Okay I do.

"Sorry." Peter says pouting to which I huff, "I'm sorry." He finally says genuinely.

"Fine accepted." I sigh, "Can't believe you forgot our movie marathon."

"Well if it isn't my favourite young couple." Mr Delmar greets me and Peter.

Mr Delmar always, always, catches me and Peter in a position where it looks all coupley and we're dating. Every time, I blush like a ten year old schoolgirl.

"Hey Mr Delmar sir." Peter smiles.

"Oh hi!" I reply brightly.

Peter now comes round to my side to grab some Cheetos but not taking one of his arms off my hip. Needless to say we've always had a handsy intimate friendship which makes things so much better but also harder.

"How's school kids?" Mr Delmar asks kindly.

"Great."

"Meh."

"She's only pouting because it was meatloaf for the cafeteria food."

"And you forgot our Friday movie marathon." I huff.

Peter pays Mr Delmar and before I can protest he speaks.

"And I'm suffering." Peter laughs with Mr Delmar, "You're only mad because you love cuddling up to me and sleeping on me."

"Well, I only have peaceful sleep when I fall asleep with/ on you." I murmur blushing into Peter's neck.

Peter loves when I nuzzle into him and he loves the reason why which is me trying to hold my blush. Meanwhile Mr Delmar coos along with the old lady in the queue behind us. Peter gives me a worried glance before we both thank Mr Delmar and head out of the store.

"Still getting them nightmares huh?"

He doesn't even question why Mr Delmar calls us a couple and nor does Peter argue it or talks to me about it.

"Still getting them."
