The air is crisp in the park as you walk through the tree-lined paths. Your mind is deep in thought, and a chill hangs in the air. The park is empty this evening, no one but you enjoying the night air. The stars above you shine and sparkle like Christmas lights.

Suddenly, the peacefulness is broken by a sharp whoosh that fills the air around you. A little way in front of you now stands a man. His eyes search through the darkness.

Out of curiosity, and stupidity, to be honest, you travel toward him. He begins moving towards you. As you meet in the middle, you call out to him.

"Are you alright?" You question, as you approach.

Without any words he grabs your arms tightly and doesn't let go.

"Please let go," you ask, attempting to break his grip.

"I have need of you, mortal." He answers in a silky smooth voice that has a icy undertone to it.

"What does that mean?"

"Simply, I need a place to stay while I work out my plans. I have been banished from my home." He says, a kind look in his eyes, but not on his face. This intrigues you; you want to know more.

"Well, you could've just asked. And please let go, Mr..?" You say as he releases your arms.

"I am Loki, god of mischief." He answers straightening up. Trying to look proud and strong. His face dons a smirk.

"Well, I'm (y/n). So, you're a god?" you giggle, "that does explain your garments. And the whole appearing out of nowhere thing. Very godlike."

He takes your hand and kisses it. You turn a bright shade of pink.

"Well, lady (y/n), shall we go?"

"Sure, but first, lets get a pizza. I'm starving." You say taking his hand, "consider this our first date."

"I do not know what this 'date' thing is, but I am curious." He muses, his steps falling in with yours.

"Oh, trust me. You're gonna enjoy it." You say with a smile.
