"How could you miss that?" You snap, binoculars zooming in on Clint's target(an explosive) with an arrow two inches away from its core. "It's right there,"

"Yeah, well, I'm not perfect," Clint sets another arrow in place and tries again, missing poorly and you growl.

"What? Really? I never knew that,"

He rolls his eyes, shooting again and- and the arrow flies right past the explosive strapped to the tree.

"Jesus," Natasha's voice pipes up from the comm. "Clinton, what is wrong with you today? Do you want me to shoot for you?"

He doesn't answer, instead getting back to trying to hit his target.

"I've never seen his aim this bad before," Natasha says. "Maybe it's from old age?"

"Maybe," you mumble, and Clint huffs.

"What! I am not old,"

"Yes you are,"

"Why you-"

"Children, please. Clint, shoot the explosive or I'll do it myself," Natasha sounds unhappy and about two seconds away from blowing her cover to shoot Clints target, so you lean over, snatch his bow and take an arrow, launching it and duck down when the explosive goes off.

"Did you just-"

"Yup,"

"With my-"

"Uh huh,"

"But how did you-"

"I took lessons,"

He grins, throws his head back against the wall behind you. "I'm impressed,"

You snort, get to your feet, and spot Natasha on the roof over waving. "I'm certainly not,"

He frowns, grabs his bow, stands and trails after you as you step over the rubble of the abandoned HYDRA base that just blew up. "Why?"

"Because you kept missing, and that's not an option in this line of work,"

"But I didn't do it for no reason,"

You stop, stab a finger on to his chest and narrow your eyes. "So you made a fool of yourself on purpose, why?"

He shrugs. "I don't know? This mission wasn't dangerous, anyways. Just wanted to see my badass girlfriend in action,"

You stare for a moment before shaking your head with a smile. "You're the biggest idiot I've ever known,"
