You dragged your feet into the lab, knowing that your husband would be in there. You yawned and tried to stay awake even if your eyes were begging you to sleep.

A sleepy smile grew on your face when you saw Tony. He was focused on his work and didn't notice you. You cleared your throat, annoucing your arrival.

"Y/N, why are you still up?"

Tony asked once he saw you. His eyes glanced at the clock and he realised it was almost 2 in the morning. Tony opened his arms for you when he saw your pout.

A grin appeared on your face and you quickly walked into his arms, sat on his lap and buried your face in the crook of his neck. Tony chuckled heartily and patted your back softly.

"I can't stay away from you. I'll miss you."

You mumbled, kissing his neck and jaw. Tony grinned and couldn't help but felt so lucky to hold you in his arms.

"I have work to do."

"Can't it wait?"

Tony pressed his lips into a thin line before answering you:

"Yes, but---"

"I can't sleep without you, Anthony."

Your words made a warm feeling erupted in the billionaire's chest. He nodded and carried you to the bedroom. He planted a kiss on your forehead before you snuggled into his chest. His warmth spreaded to you and a content sigh escaped your lips.

"Good night, sweetheart."

Tony knew you were asleep when he got no response from your noisy mouth. He wrapped his arms around you securely and started to doze off as well.

The night went so perfectly when he was in bed with you. He loved holding you in his arms, knowing that you were there, safe and sound. He was in a deep sleep everytime you were in bed with him.

Like this morning, he didn't even wake up when you poked his nose. You held back your giggle and sighed contently at the sight of your sleeping husband. He looked so peaceful and calm.

You kissed his cheek, and smiled softly when he started to shift. His eyes slowly peeled open and he smiled sleepily at you.

"Morning, sunshine."

You greeted him, a grin was painted on your face. Tony couldn't help but smiled even bigger at this.

"I love you."

He said sweetly. Rosy blush creeped on your face and you tried to hide it by burying your face in his chest. He chuckled and kissed your head.

"Sweetheart, as much as I love you, I have to get ready for a meeting with the team today."

He laughed when you pouted at his words. You wrapped your arms around his torso and shook your head violently.

"No, I don't want you to leave."

"Y/N..."

"I don't want you to get up. I'm so warm in your arms."

You mumbled, making your husband grinned at you. He gave you a look that told you 'I really have to get up now or I'll be late', you finally unwrapped your arms from him.

"The Avengers can be handful sometimes. I hope the meeting is going to be short."

Tony joked, jumping out of the bed. You sat up and tilted your head a bit.

"You like me more than you like them, right? Right?"

You asked. Tony laughed at your innocence. He walked over to you and pressed a kiss on the crown of your head.

"You're so adorable, Y/N. Of course, I like you more than them. I'm so in love with you."

He mumbled, bringing a smile upon your lovely face. Tony's heart swelled in happiness as you were smiling because of him.

"I'll miss you."

You said, grinning at your husband. Tony winked at you before getting ready for the meeting. You watched him with a gigantic smile. Sometimes you wondered how did you ever get so lucky to have him in your life. With all of your heart, you loved this man to death, and nothing, nothing could change that.
