"Loki!"

You yelled his name but he wouldn't stop running away from you. You were younger than him, and smaller, but that didn't mean that he could bully you like this. Loki showed you a book in his hands--- your book that he took without your permission.

You both were so young back then, you were children playing in the garden but Loki was so much more mischievious than you and Thor. You were a daughter of a very respectful leader in Asgard, and you were more than allowed to mingle with the princes.

"Loki, give it back to her!"

Thor said, a frown appeared on his face when his brother kept doing this to you. Loki was making faces at you, making tears pooled in your eyes and you started to cry.

Panic rose in Thor's chest when he saw your tears. He quickly shot Loki a glare and his brother walked to you in a split second. They were both worried about you.

"Y/N, please don't cry."

Thor tried to comfort you. You pointed the book in Loki's hands and you wanted your book back. Loki groaned when Thor gestured him to give the book back to you.

"Loki, give it back."

"You're no fun, Thor."

He huffed, but he still gave the book back to you. A smile cracked on your lips and Loki saw that. He quickly pulled back and raised the book above his head. You pouted and crossed your arms against your chest.

"Loki, what did I say?"

Thor was annoyed now. Loki laughed when he saw your face. He knew you weren't crying that hard. You insisted to have your book back but Loki kept the book above from your reach.

"Loki, stop doing this to me!"

You scolded, and stood on your tiptoes to take your book but failed miserably. Loki laughed and in his eyes, you were nothing but adorable. You gritted your teeth in anger when Loki started to run with your book in his grasp.

"I'll kill you once I get that book!"

You said furiously, only making the prince laughed. Thor rolled his eyes and shook his head. You and Loki could give him a headache. You started to run after Loki in the garden.

So many years after that, things had remained the same. Yes, you've grown prettier and the princes had became gorgeous. But it was still the same.

"Loki!"

You tried to keep up with him but his long legs were making it hard. He grinned and raised your book in his hands proudly. Thor stood next to you and he shook his head.

"Loki, please give it back to her."

Thor didn't want to be mad at his brother, but he also couldn't stand your puppy eyes. Loki pressed his lips into a thin line and shrugged.

"If you want it, come and get it. Shorty."

He said, a smirk was dancing on his lips. You scrunched your nose and your hands curled in fists. You were giving him a killing glare but in his eyes, you were just plain sweet. Thor almost laughed at you too. You glared at him and Thor put his hands up.

"I'm sorry! It's just you're too cute when you're mad."

Thor pointed out. You couldn't believe it. Thor was picking Loki's side instead of yours. Loki laughed, making you looked at him with rage in your eyes.

"See? My brother agreed with me. Now do you want this book or not?"

He wiggled his eyebrows at you before starting to run. You lifted up the hem of your dress and ran towards him, knocking him down on the ground. Loki was shocked, but then you both bursted into a fit of laughter.

"I want my book!"

You grabbed your book from him and a proud smile creeped on your face. Thor chuckled and helped you up. He patted your back softly.

"That is not cute, Y/N."

Thor laughed. You smirked and looked down at Loki who was still on the ground.

"Finally."

You breathed out. You were proud when something you did wasn't count as cute or adorable in their eyes. It rarely happened.

"No, brother. But she's cute though."

Loki said to Thor. Thor nodded, making you groaned. In a jiffy, your book wasn't in your hold anymore. You looked up and realised Thor has taken it away from you.

"Do you want it, Y/N?"

Thor said and ran away from you with laughter. You rolled your eyes and heard Loki was laughing at you.

"Go, Thor. I'm rooting for you!"

Loki cheered. You ran after Thor and the garden wasn't silent because the three of you. It was a wonderful day.

"Give it back or I'll tell your mother!"

You threatened.

"You're a big girl, Y/N. Don't be a crybaby."

Thor raised his eyebrows. You huffed and continued to take your book back. People may change, but at least not the three of you, not now.

You hoped things would stay the same forever.
