"I love you, Stephen!"

You shouted from the rooftop, laughing afterwards. Stephen laughed along with you before pressing a soft kiss on your lips. He wrapped his arms around your waist and his eyes wandered into yours.

"You're insane sometimes, you know?"

"I know."

You chuckled. Stephen felt his heart fluttered at the sound of your laughs. He pulled you closer to him and rested his chin on your head.

"I love you so much, Y/N."

He whispered sweetly into your ears, making your lips curled into a broad smile. You sighed happily and nodded.

"I have a meeting with the team tomorrow."

Stephen told you. You looked up at him and grinned. Stephen knew that idea would make you so happy.

"Really? Can I come with you?"

Stephen smirked.

"Of course, you can. You're my honeybunch. The Avengers would be more than delightful to see you."

He kissed the top of your head and you giggled. You loved your Sorcerer Supreme so much, but you also loved to meet the Avengers. They were so nice towards you, especially Steve and Natasha.

"I can't wait!"

The meeting was over and you were eager to see the Avengers out of the meeting room. As soon as they walked out with your beloved boyfriend, you squealed.

"Y/N!"

Natasha came and wrapped you in a hug. The others just waved and grinned at you. They once said that you were a zestful person, that was why they were attached to you easily.

"I miss you, Nat!"

Stephen just watched as you looked so happy with his friends. Clint nudged him, making he looked at him. Sam glared at Stephen, making he rolled his eyes.

"You know what, Y/N? Me and Tony have something to show you."

Steve offered, a warm smile was painted on his face. Your eyes grew wide as you grinned at the Super Soldier. Tony had promised you that he would build you a suit so you were hopeful.

"Is it a.."

"Suit? Yes, you're not wrong."

Steve finished your sentence and smiled. You screamed in excitement and looked at Stephen. Your boyfriend nodded, giving you a signal to follow Steve.

"Come with me."

You followed Steve to the lab, excitement bursting through your veins. When you left, Clint cleared his throat.

"Have you forgot about the bet?"

Clint asked Stephen. He frowned and shook his head. Sam laughed and patted him on the back.

"I think you already won, man. She loves you."

Sam announced. Natasha couldn't help but groaned. She hated this, she hated that the boys were playing with a girl's heart.

"Can we forget about the bet?"

Stephen asked, a small smile formed on his lips. Bruce suddenly came and a frown appeared on his face.

"You bet on what?"

All eyes were on Bruce before Stephen sighed heavily. He didn't like this.

"So, Strange, you think you can make any girl fall in love with you?"

Natasha quirked her eyebrow at the Sorcerer Supreme. Stephen proudly smirked and looked at everyone else in the room like they were crazy.

"What? It's the truth."

Stephen pointed out. Clint and Sam were laughing and Rhodey patted Stephen's back a few times before shaking his head.

"I know you're kind of attractive, man. But to make a girl fall in love with you in a few days? No offense but you're not Stark."

Rhodey commented. Stephen rolled his eyes at the name of Stark. Stephen always being compared to that cocky billionaire, he wondered why.

"One night stand like Stark? No, I'm going to make girls fall in love with me."

Stephen sipped his drink and looked around the bar. Sam got an idea and he quickly whispered it to Clint. They smirked then both turned to look at Stephen.

"What?"

Stephen knew whatever was going in their heads wasn't good. At all.

"I bet you can't make that girl fall in love with you. "

Sam said, a smirk was dancing on his lips. Stephen looked at the way Sam was pointing and his eyes found you. You were standing outside the bar. Maybe waiting for someone.

"Why would you say that? Of course, I can make her fall for me."

Stephen stated confidently. Rhodey laughed and shook his head in disbelief.

"You're not going to bet on this, aren't you?"

Natasha sighed heavily, showing that she was totally disagree with the idea.

"Please do not bet on this, guys. The girl's heart is not a toy."

Natasha's eyebrows drew as she stated her opinion. But the men won't listen. They continued to do what they weren't supposed to do.

Stephen stood up and walked towards you, a broad smile was on his face. And when your eyes met with his, he felt his heartbeat quicken. He thought it was just for a bet, little did he knew he would regret it later.

"Are you kidding me?!"

Bruce was shocked. He saw you and Stephen as a powerful couple but it was just a bet?

"Be quiet, Bruce. We don't want her to hear us."

Clint said in quiet voice. Natasha rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"I've told you not to bet on this."

"I love her, Nat. I really do."

Stephen admitted. Sam and Clint looked at each other and smirked. Then they laughed at Stephen.

"Really? You're sure about that?"

They didn't realize that you were hiding behind the door at that time. You didn't want to listen, but you knew it was about you.

"What is all of this?"

Bruce couldn't believe on what was happening. How could a man played with people's feeling like that?

"Y/N is just a bet. We want to see if Stephen could make she falls in love with him, and he did. He won this bet."

Sam said casually. On the other hand, you were raging, trying to hold back your tears. You loved Stephen with all of your heart but actually you were just a girl that he picked at the bar for a bet?

"How could you?"

You walked into the room, taking them by suprise. Stephen's eyes widen as he stuttered. He reached out for you but you backed away from him.

"I love you, Stephen. So much."

Tears. Stephen felt his heart sunk at the sight of you crying because of him.

"But I'm just a toy for you? A game?"

You didn't yell, no, you didn't. But it broke Stephen more as you still kept your calm even in this kind of situation.

"I'm just a game for you?"

He locked his eyes with yours and you saw regret in them. But nothing compared to the pain that you were feeling. You've never felt so happy before you met him but now he broke your heart like no one ever did before.

"I hope you're happy that you've won. I love you with all of my heart, Stephen. Thank you for lying to me."

You sobbed and ran out of the room. You bumped into Tony who frowned at you, because he saw your tears. You didn't wait any second for him to ask you why so you just left.

You brought your heavy heart away from the heartbreaker. Stephen stood there, still shocked with what happened. Natasha looked at him with sympathy, but she warned him before.

"What's wrong with Y/N? I saw her crying!"

Tony walked into the room. But no one dared to answer the billionaire. His eyes landed on Stephen, then he growled.

"Did you--- Did you make her cry?"

Tony gritted his teeth. Since he met you through Stephen, he had thought you as his own sister. He hated to know that you were hurt because of a man.

"I did worse, Stark."

Stephen's voice cracked. All eyes in the room moved to look at him. He was not that confident Doctor Strange anymore, he looked vulnerable.

"I broke her heart. And I broke mine too."

Steve who was just arrived drew his eyebrows in confusion. Silence wrapped them as Stephen let sorrow took over him completely.

"I really love Y/N. I really do."

But it was too late.

Once you walked out of his life, you won't walk in again.

Because when you ran from the facility, a car sped towards you and with tears blurred your vision you couldn't see properly.

You were hit by the car.

You were gone.

Stephen's heart would shatter as soon as he knew that. He had lost you, his precious love just because of a stupid bet.
