⭐ Goodbye | Brother! Tony Stark
You had never thought that you would die because of a bullet. You weren't a fighter, you weren't an agent, you weren't a superhero.
You were a nobody.
What did you know about yourself except your name were:
1. You were a journalist.
2. You loved to read and write.
3. You were Tony Stark's adopted little sister.
4. Your brother loved you dearly.
But yet, here you were, lying in a pool of your own blood. Tears on your face and your lips quivered with fear. Tony pulled you into his lap and worry filled his eyes.
"Y/N, don't close your eyes."
He warned gently. You were tired, the pain was too much for you to bear. Tony was getting panicked when your eyelids almost closed.
"Y/N! Shit, I could've save you from the bullet! I'm so sorry!"
Tony blamed himself, like usual, making your heart ache. You had been with him since you were little and he was always protective of you. He blamed himself for almost everything and you hated that. He was too kind, yet people just saw him as a sarcastic billionaire.
"It's written, Tony."
You whispered softly. A tear escaped his eye as he knew that your time was coming. He couldn't do anything to save you, his beloved sister.
"I love you, Tony. Th—Thank you for every—thing."
You took your last breathe and everything went black. You didn't hear Tony screaming for your name again and again. You didn't see Tony holding you for dear life in his arms, hoping that you would be breathing again. You didn't realize that you just left your brother heartbroken.
People said that after you died, you'll see your important memories for awhile to say goodbye. To all of them.
You saw a flash of memories when you were dead.
Suddenly you felt like you just woke up from a sleep, your body was fresh and a smile creeped on your face. You looked around and noticed that you were in your old house.
It was your childhood.
"Pl—Please stop, dad!"
You were just a six-year-old girl. But your father was abusing you. After your mother's death, he always got mad and hit you.
The image of your father hitting you replayed before you. Tears welled in your eyes as hatred built in your chest. You blinked and you were no longer there. You were at somewhere else.
"Y/N, this will be your new home."
You looked up and saw Howard Stark, looking down at you with a broad smile on his face. He held your small hand in his and you walked with him.
"You will be my new dad?"
Howard chuckled softly and nodded. He kneeled down to your level and kissed the crown of your head. The look in his eyes was true, he wanted to save you.
"Yes, Y/N Stark."
A tear escaped your eye and you put a hand on your mouth to keep yourself from sobbing. You missed Howard so much, but you were sure you would see him very soon.
"You're so smart, Y/N!"
A sixteen-year-old Tony was comforting a crying you. You were twelve back then, and Tony was holding you.
"No, I'm so stupid. I could never solve this question."
You cried. Tony smiled at you and shook his head. Then he helped you with the question, and you were jumping up and down when he did it.
You laughed at your old self, admiring how carefree you were at the time. You always doubted yourself whether you deserved to be in the Stark family or not. But Tony always found his way to make you smile and forget it.
Just in a blink of the eye, you were at a different place. You knew the place so well.
"Oh my god, Tony! Are you serious doing this right now?"
A teenage you was laughing at your brother. You both were in his lab, and he was swaying his hips to the music. A smirk grew on his face and he did some stupid moves just to make you laugh.
"Tony, I just broke up for the first time and you danced?"
You said in disbelief. Tony stopped to look at you and a soft smile spreaded on his face. He squeezed your shoulder reassuringly.
"I love you, little sis and you know that. I don't want you to cry over a boy that doesn't worth your time. You deserve someone better. Now let's dance."
Then you laughed and danced along with him. You made some silly moves then you both fell on the floor laughing.
You smiled. You didn't know how he handled your first breakup so well. He made you laugh easily. Then you were brought to a memory that you didn't want to be reminded of.
A funeral.
"I miss them, Tony."
You buried your face into his chest and cried. Tony refused to cry, but you knew that he was crying inside.
"I love them like my own parents."
Hot tears streamed down your face as you remembered your adoptive parents. They loved you like you were their own child. Most of all, they gave you Tony, the most loving brother ever.
A voice made you turn around and you realized that you were in Stark Tower.
Tony was working in his lab like usual, focusing on something that wasn't interesting in your eyes. You dragged your feet to the lab just to bug your brother.
"Anthony!"
You whined and forced him to look at you. He groaned and glared at you playfully.
"What do you want, Y/N?"
"Well. I'm not working today so what if we go for a shopping together?
You suggested, a grin spreaded on your face. Tony mimicked your grin but then he shook his head.
"I have to work, Y/N. You can go with your friends."
He shrugged it off. You pouted and crossed your arms against your chest. He didn't spend his time with you now and you wanted it to change.
"It's not the same without you, Tony. I want to go with my brother."
You persuaded him. He finally gave in and you pulled him out of the lab. He could never resisted your request.
"You're lucky I love you."
He said, a grin was plastered on his face. You laughed and wrapped your arms around him.
"I love you too even you could be annoying sometimes, Tony."
You didn't know whether to laugh or to cry at the time. You were seeing a really good memory of you and him, but you could never do it again. You could never say that you love him again.
You didn't laugh, but you cried. Tears blurred your vision as you were brought to a hill.
The view was mesmerizing. You could practically see the stars and the moon so clearly. The city lights were so beautiful if you looked from up the hill.
"Tony, I thought you only know luxury places. Not some beautiful view hills, you know."
You laughed. Tony snorted and patted your back a few times.
"There's a lot you don't know about me, Y/N."
Tony brought you to a place like this. There must be something bothering him. You put your hand on top of his and smiled.
"Is there something wrong?"
"It's just.. A fight with my girlfriend. It's nothing big."
His frown quickly turned into a smirk when you nodded. He grabbed something out of his pocket and gave it to you.
"A bracelet?"
You looked at the gorgeous bracelet carefully. It must be expensive but there must be a special meaning for it.
"Yes. I want you to have it so you bring me in your heart everywhere you go. I know you'll fall in love with the one someday, but please still love me. I'm your favourite brother, remember?"
He smirked. You laughed and linked your arm with his. You wore the bracelet and rested your head on his shoulder.
"My only brother."
You touched the bracelet on your wrist softly, a tear dropped on it. You would always bring him in your heart whenever you go. You sniffed and the sight before you now was heartbreaking.
It was a reality.
You were seeing yourself dying in Tony's arms, him screaming madly for you to stay awake but you didn't.
"Tony... I'm here.."
You whispered but he couldn't hear you. You watched as the real you took your last breathe and was gone forever. Tony screamed in agony as he held you tightly into his chest.
You touched his cheek softly but Tony couldn't feel it. You wanted to hold him and tell him that everything would be alright but you couldn't.
You were sobbing now when you saw they brought your body away from Tony. He struggled to get you back but he finally gave up.
"Please don't leave me, Y/N."
Tony said weakly, tears rolled down upon his cheeks.
"I'm so sorry, Tony."
You said before shutting your eyes and disappearing forever. It was your goodbye to life.
