Aurora looked around the platform as she watched Bruce making last minute adjustments to the machine. Sam stood near by asking questions clearly to much of Bruce annoyance. Aurora looked over at her husband talking to his best friend. She smiled for the first in days it was so nice to see Steve a have a genuine smile on his face as he talked to Bucky. She had meet him 10 years ago when the Avengers had formed and he had joined the team with her brother Tony. Aurora gave a slight frown at the reminder of her older brother who had sacrificed so much since becoming Ironman including his own life. She and Steve had gotten married 7 years ago and had a 5 year old daughter named Sarah Jamie or SJ as they called her.

Aurora had been put on to the team after being captured by Hyrda and had been exposed to the power and mind stone. She had powers of mind control and magic some similar to Wanda and Doctor Strange. She had given everything to the team,the world, hell the universe. Her and Steve had decided to retire, Steve had told her that he was going to give the shield to Sam and finally get the life he had always wanted. Bruce was making the last minute adjustment to the Time Machine. Steve would take back the stones to their right places. Then he would come back and they would have their happily ever after finally. Her hand went to her stomach she had found out the morning Scott Lang had come back from the quantum realm. Nat had given her the pregnancy test, so how she knew. Aurora was going to tell Steve but then everything had happened and the time was never right. But tonight at dinner she would tell him.

Bucky was pulling Steve in for a hug and Steve just nodded. Aurora walked over to Steve and Bucky both men looked at her, Steve gave her a small smile and Bucky just frowned and walked away. "Bucky seems grumpy more than usual " said Aurora. Steve just shrugged "Probably Sam just annoying him" replied Steve. Aurora just smiled "Sam does love to annoy Bucky, any way I have surprise for you when you get back" said Aurora as she leaned into give Steve a kiss and it was soft but quick not his normal lingering kisses. Aurora pulled back and gave him a puzzling look. "Is everything okay Steve?" Aurora with a slight frown. Steve just nodded and kissed her forehead. "Just want to get these stones back Rory" he said. Aurora nodded and walked off the platform.

She walked over to Bucky and Sam and watched as Bruce went over the plans. Steve picked up the stones and Thor's hammer. Aurora looked at Steve she could help herself "I love you Steve" she yelled. Steve looked her and nodded but say nothing. Steve's quantum suit and helmet were on Bruce counted "1..2..3". He disappeared Bruce flipped at switch and finished counting 8...9...10 but nothing happened and Sam was yelling "Where is he? Bring him back" he yelled. Bruce was looking confused "He flew past his mark" yelled Bruce. Aurora's heart stopped she turned looked at Bucky who just shook his head and wouldn't look her in the eye. She fell to her knees "No he wouldn't...why??" she cried and Sam moved to her. Sam looked confused between her and Bucky. "What wrong Aurora?" asked Sam as he helped her up. Aurora looked at Sam with tears streaming down her face "He left... he went back to her" she cried.

Sam looked at Bucky was just silent but nodded "What...why he do that?" yelled Sam pulling Aurora to him. Bucky sighed "I tried to talk him out it but he said he had try to get the life he always dreamed about" replied Bucky. Aurora snapped her head quickly over to Bucky. Anger was burning throughout her body and she began to glow purple. "You knew and said nothing why didn't you say something Bucky" she yelled. Bucky just backed up "I was hoping he would come back..I told him he had everything here and why throw it all away for some women he kissed once, I didn't want to worry you I thought he would came back" answered Bucky hold his hands out. Sam walked between them "Rory we can talk about this you need to calm down" said Sam.

Aurora glowed brighter "Calm down I have lost everything my best friend and brother are dead and now my husband left me for so he could go live some dream life while leaving me in this nightmare, how I can I tell SJ her father is gone" she said shaking her head. Bucky walked towards her "Rory we will be there SJ will have us all of us" he said carefully. Aurora just shook her head "No...I don't want anyone you near my children the Avengers are nothing but trouble and have caused me to lose everything I have loved and I won't let that happen to them" she said shaking. Sam just raised an eyebrow "Children?" he asked confused but then gasped as Aurora placed a hand on her stomach. "Oh shit" said Bucky and then kicked at the ground. Aurora looked at Bucky and Sam "I am 12 weeks and I was going to tell him tonight and it's boy this time I can feel him just like I did with Sarah" said Aurora shaking her head as she let her magic fade and fell again to her knees sobbing.

Bucky walked towards her and wrapped his arms around her "I know doll it's not right he left me too" he whispered kissing her forehead. Aurora said nothing but looked over his shoulder and at the platform frowning she knew what she had to do, what she had to get back. She would get her happy ending no matter what she just smiled.
