A young blond man woke up to the sound of sirens and flashing red lights. He was scared because he couldn't remember how he ended up in that place. In fact, he didn't remember anything. But there was a lot of information in his brain, about things he had no idea how he knew.

He found himself with his wrists and ankles trapped on a metal stretcher. When he struggled to free himself, the locks broke with extreme ease.

He is surprised by this, but doesn't complain and gets off the stretcher. But then a holographic screen appears in front of him.

[YES/NO]

???: What is that?

He wonders. Soon trying to touch the screen, but his hand simply goes through the screen.

???: Does...

He said to himself, soon thinking Yes. Working this time. With a new screen taking the place of the previous one.

Soon a flap appeared in front of him. Revealing all the Skills he has. He was surprised by such a large amount.

Alex: {So, my name is Alex Cooper. It's a beginning.}

Then another screen appeared.

[Now to open the Inventory tab, just think "Inventory".]

Alex: {Inventory.}

[Personal Pen Drive]

[Tutorial Complete]

Alex: {What is this?}

He soon removes the Pen Drive from the Inventory, seeing that it was black, it was an apparently common Pen Drive.

But Alex felt he wasn't that common.

He then stores the Pen Drive in his Inventory, and soon after finds a suit inside a large glass cylinder, with it having a circular shield in its right hand.

Knowing that he would not be able to leave dressed as he was now, he opened the cylinder and put on the suit and wielded the shield, which was very light.

Alex: {That's pretty light.}

Soon several armed men, wearing identical clothes, enter the room. And soon one of them notices Alex and points his gun at him.

Man 1: Stand there!

Alex turns to the men, feeling, strangely, calm. But because he turned too quickly, the men fired at him. And Alex, by reflex, protected himself with the shield, which deflected the energy shots throughout the room. With some of them having been diverted back to those who fired.

Alex soon notices what happened and is surprised and excited. He soon attacks the remaining men, hitting them with punches and kicks, sending them flying across the room, unconscious.

When he had dealt with all of them, he received a message from the System. A Quest.

[QUEST NOTICE]

[Escape]

[Main Objective: Escape the facility.]

[Rewards: 500.000 EXP, 500.000$.]

[Secondary Objective: Obtain a copy of the data from the Central Server.]

[Rewards: EXP/$ tripled.]

Soon a map appeared on a screen in front of him. With a red and a blue dot marked in different locations. The Main Objective and the Secondary Objective, respectively.

Alex considered whether he should complete the Secondary Objective as he wanted to get out of that place as quickly as possible. But then a thought crossed his mind.

Alex: {This might help me figure out who I am.}

So he made his way to the Central Server room, defeating everyone who came in his way to stop him.

But when he arrived in front of the Central Server room, he found it having a lock with a password and fingerprint reader.

Alex: {What now? How am I supposed to get in?}

He thinks about leaning against the door, when he becomes intangible and walks through it completely.

Alex: That's right. I can do this.

He said to himself, feeling embarrassed for forgetting something like that. He then went to the Central Server computer, took his Pen Drive from the Inventory and plugged it into one of the available USB ports. He soon started copying all the files. Taking no more than 5 seconds. Alex soon removes the Pen Drive from the computer and puts it back in his Inventory.

Alex: {It didn't take as long as I thought.}

He then became intangible again and went through the door again, coming face to face with another group of armed men. With all of them soon pointing their weapons at them.

Alex: {What the hell.}

He then felt his body being covered in something metallic. But due to his distraction, he was shot in the shoulder. But he didn't even move, or feel the shot. And that left both Alex and the men surprised.

Alex looks at his hands and feels a little stronger than before. Soon after, he turns his gaze to the armed men in front of him. And after a few minutes, he was surrounded by the unconscious bodies of armed men.

Alex: {Fine. Let's get out of here.}

He said, then running in a direction that he knew to be the correct one, because of the Map. With the same knocking out everyone who came in his way.

It was then that he arrived at a huge circle-shaped door, with a red and black symbol right in the center of it.

Alex: {Why do I feel like I've seen this symbol before?}

He is soon surrounded by several soldiers. With some big green robots.

And some even bigger robots, and with an even more threatening appearance.

Alex: This just got more complicated.

He said, but he still went into battle. And it was a true one-sided massacre. The reason? Alex quickly dealt with all the enemies. Gaining a decent amount of EXP with each of them.

Now, all he had to do was open the huge door and he would be free.

Alex: Very good. Time to achieve freedom.

He said, then his right fist was enveloped by scarlet red bio-electricity, and he threw a punch with all his strength against the huge door. With that he destroyed the huge door, thus allowing him to escape without any problems.

Time Break – Hours Later

One of the soldiers was taken before their leader, who was sitting on a high throne.

???: Tell me what happened.

He said, with a noticeable German accent.

Soldier: We failed to contain the test subjects. And it looks like our database was hacked by one of them. And now we no longer have access to it.

He is then hit by an energy shot, which came from the leader's hand. Which reveals itself to be the Iron Skull.

Iron Skull: Call MODOK to resolve the database issue. We must resume access as soon as possible. Otherwise our plan will be harmed in ways we cannot even imagine. And find out how the guinea pigs got away!

He said standing up from his throne. Then heading to your quarters. Where he analyzes the images of his test subjects' escapes from several of his facilities around the world, becoming intrigued by the powers demonstrated by some of them, especially Alex, when he broke into the database and when he destroyed the facility's huge door.

Iron Skull: {Looks like the serum had some unexpected effects on this one. But not entirely unpleasant. When we recover it, we will have a powerful weapon against anyone who dares to get in our way.}
