How was it? Did you like it?

Milly:
You were GREAT! Thanks for giving us a stellar performance, Mom! It was one for the books for sure.

Mom:
Was I, really? Do you really think so?

Milly:
Yes! I legit had tears in my eyes. It was one of your best shows.
You know, Mom. It still feels surreal hearing you play everytime. I grew up listening to you playing to me. Sometimes I wish I'd get to hear you play Rach live again just for the sake of nostalgia.

Mom:
Oh Rach. He's still your favorite? Is it still Kreisler's Preghiera?
And symphony 2, adagio?
I remember those were your favorites when you were little. How time flies, honey. I used to carry you in my arms. Now look at you. You're even visiting me to watch my shows.

Milly:
It really has been a while, no?

Mom:
It has. Where are you going now?

Milly:
That's what I wanna ask. Can we have dinner tonight?

Mom:
Oh no I can't tonight honey. I have a meeting later but we can eat breakfast before I go to our rehearsal again tomorrow. Do you have any place in mind?

Milly:
Anywhere is fine. I'm flying back on Sun. Will I be able to see you before that? My flight's at 1 PM?

Mom:
I can make time in the morning after my private show in Mercure. But I can't stay long. I need to start preparing for another show in Florence. Is that okay?

Milly:
Yes :) I'll see you then.

Mom:
Go watch the solo okay? I'll let the admin know so they can take you straight to the hall. We can eat breakfast after. Just go to Mercure at 8. She'll wait for you at the entrance.

Milly:
What piece are you playing?

Mom:
Bach. Sonata 1. You remember that?

Milly:
Yes. Rock it, Mom! I'll be there.
