I think my Nev's gonna get married soon.
Vallejo messaged me just now. He's alr prepping for the proposal and asking for my help.

I'm having mixed feelings coz I'm not ready to lose her to a man just yet but over-all, I think I'm being emotional. Haha. Is this how mothers feel? 😂

Milly:
The secret engagement party's gonna be held next month. I asked if I can bring you with me and he said yes.
Do you think you can come with me, baby?

Kairos:
Ah, ikakasal na pala yan.
Saan gaganapin?

Milly:
In Benguet. They have a flower farm daw there.
He'll set up the place for the surprise.
I'm not really into all this jazz but I got kilig too when he asked for my help haha.
Will you be busy next month?
I want you to be there sana. Nev and I share a bunch of friends. I want you to be with everyone that matters to me too din sana and since it's a special day for Nev, and I'll likely be her maid of honor... I just thought it'd be nice if you'll see everything start to end.

Kairos:
Sabihan mo lang ako kung kelan. Sasamahan kita. If this is that important to you, I won't miss it for anything.

Milly:

I think I'm getting giddier haha.

Milly:
I really hope it works out.
Nev has no idea he'll be proposing in Japan but I think she'll say yes. The way she talks, she's really in love with him and I think... ugh... he loves her right back haha. I'm so jealous 🙄
And so happy too.
You know how much I hate weddings right? But maybe, just maybe, they'll work.
Maybe, not everything has to end broken after all?

If there's anyone who can prove that, I think it's really Neve since this has been her dream for so long.
Yenno, while I was busy fooling around, Nev had been praying for this.
Marriage. Falling in love. Having kids. Settling down.
I never really understood it but now that it's here, I wanna be hopeful for her 🥺

I met them back in college. We're all attending different universities but we keep seeing each other in the same events. Siguro kasi we have the same interests?

I met them first at a book signing event. They went there coz they were fans of the book. I was there coz she was my cousin's friend. That's when Master and Nev became friends din daw. They shared a table, if I remember correctly, and hit it off right away.

Me, not yet. I was with Primera kasi then so sila pa lang back then. But I did get to talk to them then.

Months later, would you believe it? Small world!

Coz I met Nev again when her friend Byron was dating Cisco, another friend of mine. I liked her so much kaya even after they broke up, we stayed as friends. Then I met Ran during Nev's pool party. She invited her closest friends. I came alone. Master came alone. Naturally, Nev introduced us to each other and we bonded over books since then. Before that, I'm seeing Master na rin naman talaga. I used to go to exhibits kasi and some of them had been her friends' pala.

We grew closer coz that same year, Master has a friend who's into animation. He hired all three of us to help in his short film. The rest is history.

Looking back, I think it was destiny, really. You know the story naman. I never really had meaningful girl friends until I met them.

Kairos:
Buti naman nakilala mo sila. Nung una mo silang pinakilala sakin, nagtataka pa ko pano ka nagkaron ng mga kaibigan na ibang iba sayo.

Milly:
Hahaha! Right??
We're so different nga 😂
That's why I can't tell them everything I do lolol but there's no judgment naman. They understand me and I understand them too.
I just wanna spare Nev from any horrid details coz she might combust. She's pure like that 😂

Kairos:
Tapos siya pa ang unang ikakasal.

Milly:
To a playboy no less!!
Nev's always been nice naman but I can't believe she reformed that noncommittal playboy 😂
Or were they all rumors lang ba talaga? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Can't tell anymore. Since he came into her life kasi, he's always been genuine.
At least I'd believe so.

Kairos:
Would it matter if he was?

Milly:
I guess not lmao.
Can't really say anything coz I'm prolly worse than him, huh? :))

If I don't reply asap, it's because I'm getting my piano lessons again.
I'm no longer taking additional work apart from what I already have to give way to this. So baka at nights na lang kita freely makausap.

I might not get to join you for lunches tho. My classes start at 10.
