"So where are we going then?",he asked.

"Umm..just drive and I'll give you the directions",she said and he nodded.

Ekantha gave him directions for about half an hour and finally they reached the place. Ekantha's face had a beautiful smile adorned.

"Is this it?",he asked to which she nodded.

It was somewhere away from the city's noisy vibes. Dimly lit with, greenery all around. A few fire ballons hanging to the ceiling which were giving off pleasant vibes.

"Your selection is great, I like this",he said scanning the restaurant's interior.

"Thank you, Abhi! Anika brought me to this place once and I instantly fell in love with it. I felt like coming here again, but couldn't find time and I didn't have the courage to be here alone. Well, every one has their commitments right? I understand that, I don't blame anyone but I am happy being here with you today",she said surprising Abhi.

The Ekantha he knew was a woman of very few words and a secretive person who wouldn't tell him what she feels from within, and today when she told him about it he was elated, surprised and almost felt like hugging her tight and telling her she is progressing from whatever she is trying.

He smiled at her while she encircled her hands around his arms. She signalled him to talk to the waiter and he did it all.

They were taken to one of the beautiful corners of the restaurant and Abhi being our gentleman pulled out chair for and settled down after she did.

They ordered light dinner and Abhi was just staring at her lovingly as she was busy staring at the night sky view which was visible from their table.

She turned to his side to catch him staring at her and just smiled.

"Abhi, how was your day?",she asked.

"It's really great, I went to office and we had a little party there. Before that, morning amma, nanna, and that little monkey everyone wished me and do you know Mayu gifted me this polaroid camera and she made sure I clicked her pictures perfectly before I went to office. Such a kid she is",he said and chuckled remembering the morning scenario at his home.

As soon as he went home, Mayuri was standing at the door with a serious face and when he tried to enter, his mother joined along with Mayuri glaring at him. He got a great earful on his birthday for ditching his family and going somewhere else before they could wake up and wish him.

But when they got to know, where he was they were pretty much satisfied that they were taking steps seriously towards the relationship and Mayuri almost decided what to wear for her brother's wedding.

"Abhi, abhi",he got out of his dream flash back world and looked at Ekantha who was looking at him with a concerned face.

"What happened? Are you okay?Do you feel uncomfortable or something?",she asked.

"No, nothing I was just thinking about today",he said and both of them smiled at each other.

The food arrived and both of them had their dinner having little talks amidst.

As promised, the treat was on Ekantha. Though Abhimanyu tried to pursuade her against it, she didn't listen to him.

They came out of the restaurant as they were walking to the car, Abhi stopped walking suddenly.

"What happened, Abhi?",Ekantha said.

"Two minutes, stay here Ammu",he said and ran to the car.

Ekantha stood there confused waiting for him to come back. He came back with his favorite camera out of the collection he has.

He got this with him today, in the hope of clicking some of the best moments that he spent in life today.

The weather, the surrounding and her were just as if they were created and bound to be captured in his dear mate(his camera) today.

She stood there, turned in the opposite direction looking trying to set her hair which was flying on the windy day. He instantly clicked that picture getting on to his photographer mode.

She turned around to see him along with his camera, she looked at him questioningly.

"I just took some shots of yours, I hope you don't mind it",he asked and she just smiled at him.

"Whatever the birthday boy wishes for, he can do it",she said and giggled while he had a wide smile on his face.

"Really?",he asks to which she nods.

"Can I take some pictures of my girlfriend then?",he asked and after thinking for a moment she nodded a yes.

"Just stand here, forget that I am here. Although that might be something stupid just look at the sky and smile",he started giving her the instructions.

Starting with that, he asked her to do quite a few things, trying to capture the moments to his level best.

"One last, Ammu! I know you are tired. I won't take too long and this time let's not make only you suffer. I'll set a timet on my phone and can we take a picture together?",he asked making her think.

"Don't worry, nothing very awkward just a casual one. I won't let you feel uncomfortable ever",he assured her while she just smiled feeling at peace with his words.

"Alright, I'll just twirl you around and you hold my finger. Is that fine? Do you want to do that?",he asked. She thought for a second and agreed for that.

Abhi quickly set the timer on his phone and kept it on his car, after checking if it was actually capturing their picture together once he confirmed it he gave a thumbs up to her.

She came towards him and she held her finger, it was going to be their first proper picture together and the mere feeling along with the weather which was too romantic for their liking added spice to the picture to be captured.

She twirled around and the timer stopped at the perfect moment giving one of their best pictures together.

Both of them ran to see if the picture came out good and Abhi checked his gallery only to find the picture beautifully captured. Both of them smiled wide looking at each other.

He held Ekantha's hands with his hand and entwined their fingers clasping them tight while still they didn't break the eye contact.

"Thank you for today, Ammu",he said and leaned in to kiss on her forehead. It seemed like his new addiction, who says that only kisses on the lips makes things special? Forehead kisses do it even more than you could ever imagine.

"I didn't really do anything, Abhi but today is indeed special day and I am very much grateful I have you in my life as my friend, my.. my well wisher, my.. ",she was feeling shy to say out the word boyfriend and Abhi was enjoying seeing her state.

"Your what, Ammu?",he asked with a smirk on his face.

"My.. My boyfriend and my soulmate",she said proudly to which he pulled her cheeks.

"I am proud of you, chellakutty for who you are and for who you are becoming. Just one thing into your brain, no matter what happens you got me here",he said.

"Thank you, Abhi",she said.

"Oh God, look at the time! I didn't realize it. You need to sleep, you have a working day tomorrow and so do I. Damn! How did I forget about this? It's okay. Let's make a move, Ammu",he said and she nodded.

They both got into the car, and Abhi drove to Ekantha's apartment.

They reached there after thirty five minutes. The car halted, but Abhi honestly didn't feel like letting her go but he had no other option.

Before Ekantha got down,

"Abhi, I want to talk about something important. Not today but if you are free the day after tomorrow, can we meet over a coffee and discuss it?",she asked

"Sure, Ekantha! Is it serious?",he asked and she nodded.

"No worries, we'll meet again and Ekantha, I forgot about it. Do you remember I told you about the playlist? Can you please make it whenever you are free this week if possible at the earliest please?",he asked.

"I didn't forget about it, Abhi. I'll get it to you as soon as possible. Now I need to go, as much as I want to stay like this till I feel content, we have a reality waiting for us right after this night. Bye Abhi, take care",she said.

"Bye Ammu, sorry for making you stay up for longer than usual. I'll keep in mind to come home early if we have a working day the next day",he said

"No worries, Abhi! Not a big deal don't worry about it. I'll see you day after tomorrow. You seem to be forgetting something..",she asked and that's when he realised he didn't give her the bouquet that he brought for her and it was still laying in the back seat.

"Damn, really slipped out of my mind. Here's one for the most beautiful lady",he said handing her the bouquet which she gladly took and held close to herself.

"Thank you, I really have to leave now, bye Abhi! I.. I'll miss you",she said and got down of the car.

"I'll miss you too, and I love you",he yelled from the car to which she turned around and gave him a smile.

After he confirmed that, Ekantha got to her home he drove off to his home. He was craving for that day, for that day where they could go home together and talk about all the things that happened and have their meals together.

He was also concerned about the thing that Ekantha wanted to talk to him about, what could it possibly be?..
