"MA'AM",Valli yelled dragging Ekantha onto a side. Ekantha was shocked,all she saw was a bike going onto the footpath. She imagined what could have happened if not for Valli being there. 

Thank god,she was there but what if she wasn't there. This near to death experience was frightening, if not for Valli she would have broke a bone or two today for sure. She shook her head trying to get out of the shock. 

"Ma'am, are you okay? That bike lost its breaks itseems ma'am suddenly and he didn't honk as well maybe he was scared. Thank God. Have some water ma'am",Valli said handing her water bottle. 

Ekantha took the water bottle, and as water went down her throat it gave her the feeling that she was still here on earth, alive and safe.

"Thank you so much, Valli. I don't know what would have happened if not for you",Ekantha said with a small smile on her face.

"C'mon ma'am its okay! You are fine right?",Valli asked to which Ekantha nodded. 

Both of them walked to the school, this time more careful than earlier.

 Sometimes no matter how careful we are, what has to happen will happen.

"Ma'am, you should remove nazar after going to home. You look beautiful in this saree and it suited you like it is made for you",Valli said and Ekantha just smiled at her. 

"Thank you, Valli! listening to people always say the opposite made me feel like a person who only deserves hearing that but I am on the process  of loving and accepting and progressing in life",the last few words she said to herself as a smile played on her lips. 

They reached the school and both of them parted ways from there. Ekantha marked her attendance and went to her place. Asmita came just after her, and gave a pleasant smile. 

"What's special today?",Asmita asked coming towards her place. 

"Nothing, Asmita! Just the usual",Ekantha said. 

"Okay, I like this look of your though. But how do you handle sarees so gracefully yaar? I have to struggle everytime I wear one. My husband, he just asked me to stop wearing only looking at the struggles",Asmita said and both of them laughed. 

"Anyways, we got to get back to work!",Asmita said both of them got back to work. 

Just a small change brought so much positivity around her, that was something unexpected but she felt happy genuinely about it. Though the rough incidents that are related are still prevailing in her heart as permanent scars but those scars are what that are making her tilt more and more towards self love and accepting herself. 

She got back to work, she started posting things on the school social media and so far the administration work is fine too. The whole day passed in a jiffy, way quicker than usual. 

She texted Abhi what was it that he needed help with.

Hi Abhi, what is the help that you needed? Also, how are you feeling now? Better? Did you have your lunch?

She got an instant reply and that brought a smile on her face.

Heyy Ammu, I wanted a help with curating a playlist for sangeeth. My music taste is quite bland and the client asked to re work on it.I remember Vennela talking about your amazing music taste and here I am. I am way better now, I can even come and pick you up. I am that fine and yes I had my lunch. How about you? How was your day?

Oh, sure! But can I do it tonight? I..I have to reach home and do something too..

Ekantha was relieved, it was not that difficult help he needed from her. She breathed in relief and packed her things after finishing a talk with her student team regarding various activities that they could plan.

She hung her bag on her shoulder and as she was about to go, Asmita was coming to her. Ekantha was mentally praying for no extra work, she had to visit the florist shop and she doesn't want to be late and make a bad first impression. 

"Ekantha, are you leaving? To the bus stop only right? I will come along, my husband is busy today and I need to go home early. My mother in law planned some pooja in home",Asmita said.

"Uh, yes! Sure. Oh! Thats nice",Ekantha said.

Ekantha mentally thanks her stars and both of them walk to the bus stop. Ekantha opens her phone and checks the location of the florist shop and how should she reach there.

"What are you searching for Ekantha?",Asmita asked.

"Uh.. I-",before Ekantha could reason something Asmita's bus was there.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Bye Ekantha",Asmita bid her bye and got onto her route bus.

Ekantha was waiting for the bus that she had to catch, she was surfing the directions once again.

After waiting for ten minutes, the bus which she had to go came to the bus stop and she boarded it.

She got down in the bus stop after half an hour and walked to the florist shop according to the maps directions.

As soon as she reached the place it was looking beautiful.

Ekantha was unable to take her eyes off the sight, she took slow steps inside and looked around to find various varieties of flowers. Her eyes were roaming around the store, and it was so beautiful. She could not believe this place existed in such a busy city.

"Hello, May I help you dear?",an old lady in her late seventies stood right in front of her

"Good evening ma'am. I have called you in the morning regarding the helper post for part time",Ekantha said in a cheerful tone with a small smile on her face.

"Oh that's you! Good to see you here. I'm Emma. Your good name please?",she asked.

"I'm Ekantha",Ekantha replied.

"Oh wow, We're going to be the E gang hahaha. Just kidding dear. Is there anything you want to know and also how can I forget we didn't discuss your salary yet right? Come here, we'll sit over in that cosy corner and discuss about it",Emma said and walked to the corner which had all pink shades roses and a few lavender shades of tulips.

There were two chairs, both of them sat on either sides.

"Ekantha, I can pay you around 3k per month as your salary since it's your first time and also as you get experienced I'll see that you'll get your increments. You seem to be a cheerful and nice person. If you are okay with working here for that amount of salary then, you can join right from today",Emma said.

"I am okay with that, Emma ma'am. Spending time in such a beautiful place itself is a great thing and working here would be a dream to me. I am fine with salary and timings as well. I will give my best and won't let you down. Thank you for trusting me, you are one of few who trust me and my abilities and I can't be more grateful for that",she said omitting the last few words which she said to herself.

"That's wonderful! All the best. Will you be joining today then?",Emma asked.

"Will it be okay if I join from tomorrow, Emma? I just want to inform my family about this so that they don't get worried",Ekantha said.

"Oh that's completely fine and just a minute",Emma said and went inside.

Ekantha was trying to look around in the mean time. She couldn't believe she could be here everyday. She couldn't believe good things like this can happen with her as well. Happy tears were threatening to fall off her eyes.

"Here, Ekantha! This is for the beautiful young lady who's joining my team",Emma said handing the blue rose bouquet to her.

"Emma ma'am, there was no need for this. But I can't be resistant to take them because I never say no to flowers and these are so beautiful",Ekantha said taking the bouquet and admiring it.

A drop of tear fell from her eyes and she was quick enough to wipe it off.

"Thank you once again, Emma ma'am. I'll see you tomorrow",she said and went out.

As soon as she reached the end of the street, she couldn't hold her tears anymore. She took out her phone and dialled to Abhimanyu.

"Hello Ekantha, have you reached home already?",he asked.

"Abhi",she said and broke out into tears...
