"Thank you, Abhi",Ekantha started the conversation.

"For?",he asked seeming confused why was she even thanking him.

"Mayu told me that you talked to uncle and aunty",she said.

"Oh, that! It's nothing, Ekantha! We're all good. Where were you coming from by the way? Are you okay?",he asked.

"I don't know if I am okay, or if everything is okay or not but one thing I am clear about is I will try to make everything okay",she said determined.

"You don't need to struggle for that, Ammu. As long as you have me, you have your cousins, you have your best friend you can do it slowly. No hurry at all. Go at your pace. Make yourself comfortable according to the situation first",he said.

"Thank you, Abhi for always understanding me. Vennela always used to tell me that one day I will definitely find someone who can understand me better than I do and I am so sorry I couldn't give you the answer yet. Before I take any decision about us, I want to get clear with a few things. I don't want to carry them into a new thing and burden myself and you also",Ekantha said.

"I know ammu, I was guilty and regretted instantly for putting you in such situation. I am sorry, I know it might take some time but we'll definitely have a future together. My gut feeling says it all and directly or indirectly you gave me the answer. I am indeed happy",Abhi said.

"Please don't feel guilty about this, if you haven't done this. I would never have been able to see what was actually happening. Any ways what's done is done",she said and he nodded.

"What about your late night shoot yesterday? How did it go?",she asked.

"All good, but just little issues here and there. I think I should be able to manage that",he said.

"What did Mayu say to bring you out?",she asked.

"Well, she said she wants to show me something. Amma and appa were talking about it and I wanted to be there and listen to what they speak but all good as long as everything goes well",he said and she nodded.

"How is Vennela? Everything okay between you both?",he asked and that's when Ekantha realised she didn't tell him about it all.

Quickly she briefed him everything that happened.

"Don't worry, All that starts well, will definitely end well",he said.

"Let's go in? I really am eager and tensed about the situation inside",he said and she nodded in approval.

Both of them walked alongside, their hands brushed creating a tingling sensation within themselves.

Hiding their little smiles which was playing on their lips. They entered the living room to find the atmosphere quite tensed.

"Abhi, come let's go. Ekantha, can you please call Mayu?",Vishalakshi said to which Ekantha nodded and went to her room to call Mayu.

Soon the Bharadwaj family took their leave. Ekantha felt something was going wrong, she came back to the living room and decided she could talk with her father the next day considering what a long day it was for him.

She sat in the living room along with Anika and Dikshit. The two of them were discussing something and Ekantha was checking her mails.

"Aunty, we'll stay for dinner. By the way, what did they say?",Dikshit asked.

"They said they need time, I told her to make decision quick now look if the groom side people are asking for time indirectly they're saying a NO, which they'll probably say soon on our face",Ketan said in a loud voice which made Ekantha flinch but she kept whispering assuring words to herself.

"You know what, we shouldn't have even asked her for her opinion. When did she even make decisions in her life. Took after her useless mother",he said and that was enough for Ekantha to hear.

She got up from her place and was going to go back to her room.

"Wait, Ekantha. I am telling you one last time, the sooner you make your mind up the better it will be",he said and Ekantha just walked into her room as though she couldn't hear a word that Ketan was speaking.

"Look at her, no wonder she has become so disrespectful after getting job. I don't know how she is going to lead her life being like this in her in laws home",he said and went back to his room.

Anika was taken aback to see Ketan like this. She always thought he loved Ekantha but, now she had second thoughts. Clearly it wasn't something that came out in frustration.

It's right that we should never judge people for something that happened just once in their whole life, but if it really happened first time, why didn't the two ladies in the house react?

Was it common? Were they victims of all this? What more is there in addition to this?

She just sat there thinking about it and Dikshit shook her.

"Ani, are you thinking just what I am thinking?",he asked and she nodded.

One thing that they both were sure of is Kanyaka isn't going to tell them. Their only way is Ekantha but would she tell them? They need to try.

"Lets leave for today. It was a long day indeed for her",Dikshit said and Anika nodded.

On the other hand, Ekantha was not surprised by such a sudden outburst. She was kind of expecting it.

She sat on the bed with her legs close to her body and a pillow behind her back. She opened her diary and started writing about everything that came to her mind.

She kept her diary aside and there was a knock on the door. She got off her bed and went to answer the door. It was Kanyaka.

"What happened amma?",Ekantha asked.

"Did you talk to Abhi, Ekantha?",she asked.

"About what amma?",Ekantha questioned.

"About wanting more time",Kanyaka replied.

"I couldn't say that to him this time, amma. But he understood I needed time and he trusts that we will have a future together and he is ready to wait",Ekantha said firmly.

"That's good, just don't make the wrong choice like I did. That's all I want to say",Kanyaka said and Ekantha understood what she meant.

Ekantha nodded and Kanyaka left from there. None of them had their dinner, Kanyaka didn't feel like having it while Ketan was angry and he skipped his meal.

The night was long, nobody could sleep properly and everyone had different reasons for it.

Meanwhile in Abhi's home.

The family sat in their car and everyone were silent and it was unusual.

"Maa, what happened? All okay right?",he asked.

"Grand success! I just hope all goes well and she comes to our home real soon. She is such a pure soul. I feel like, she deserves more happiness than what she is experiencing in her life",Vishalakshi said.

"And what is your not so useless son here for? I just am waiting for her to completely build trust on me and come into my life. I'll try my best to give her all the happiness, I can and also help her in bringing things that could give her happiness",he said.

"Dei, Anna proud of you",Mayu said and side hugged him.

"Aye my hand, leave me",he said wriggling while she struck more into him.

Vishalakshi and Virendra chuckled at their antics, they are quite common to them.

They reached home and Virendra announced that the men would be in charge of the dinner to which the ladies agreed gladly and went back to their rooms.

"Nanna, what are you going to cook?",Abhi asked.

"Aloo paratha, my wife's favorite!",he said and Abhi smirked at him.

"What? Why are you smirking at me? You will get married soon too, right? Then I will see what all things you will do",Virendra said to which Abhi laughed whole heartedly.

They made Aloo paratha and vegetable pulao. Abhi ordered brownies for his sister who somehow helped him and made meeting Ekantha possible.

The family had a hearty meal. Mayu jumped onto Abhi when she saw brownies.

"The best brother of the decade goes to Mr. Abhimanyu Bharadwaj. Ladies and Gentlemen put your hands together and let's welcome him",she said and hugged him.

"Stop your banter lil devil, this is for helping me and Ekantha some time ago",he said and Mayu hooted for them.

After some time everyone retired to their rooms and Abhi thought to check on Ekantha but just then Mayu called him for some help.

"What help do you want chellamma(little sister)",he asked.

"Write this record for me, you are not doing anything today na. From tomorrow you'll be off to duty again",she said and Abhi gave her a serious look which didn't even bother Mayu.

"The record book, manual and stationary are there on table. You can start doing the work mister. The faster you do, the better sleep you get and don't forget to write neatly",Mayu said and Abhi threw a pillow towards her which she skillfully caught and gave him a sweet smile.

"Fine, but don't ask me something like this again",he said.

He completed her record and went to sleep after that.

The next morning, there was a good morning message from Ekantha which made his morning even more better. He smiled at his phone.
