It was around 4 pm and Ekantha and Abhi decided to leave from there.

"I have brought some sweets for my sweet aunty and pardon me I forgot to give when I came",he said and gave her sweets box.

" That's so sweet of you",Vennela's mother said and both the girls looked at each other.

"Enough enough! That's too much of sweetness to take in",Vennela said.

"Are you by chance jealous of us Vennu?",her mother asked.

"Noo! Why would we? What say Ekantha?",she said.

"Exactly! Why should we?",Ekantha said and both Vennela's mother and Abhi laughed out.

"Will see you tomorrow aunty",Ekantha said and hugged her.

"Yes yes! Tomorrow is the first day! Soo as your aunty best of luck dear and as the principal, be on time the principal doesn't like it when someone is late",she said and Ekantha nodded.

They drove to a mall nearby and stopped there.

"Are we here to shop clothes for someone?",she asked.

"Nope, we're here to join someone",he replied.

"And who is that?",she asked.

"My sister",he said.

"Oh you've a sister?",she asked in surprise.

"Yea she wasn't able to make on that day, that little monkey had exams. She's bragging me for some new clothes for farewell. She was indeed excited to meet you and asked me if I can bring you here",he said.

"Her name is?",she asked.

"Mayuri",he replied with a small smile.

"That's a nice name and I am sure she will be a nice person too",she said while they walked into the mall.

"No, don't even think about that. She's a devil",he said.

"Well, I don't judge anyone anymore by their first looks. They can be something unexpected as well",she said and he looked at her confused.

"We'll take this some other time. Not forgetting this anytime soon. We'll talk about it",he said and Ekantha covered her face with hands.

"Anna, Finally you are heree!",a young girl who is 5-6 years youngers than Ekantha struck by Abhi.

"Yes! Oh wait, don't jump like a monkey which you already are. She's Ekantha and Ekantha she's Mayuri. I call her little monkey or tarantula or more sweet name Mayu. She's in her 12th right now a commerce student",he gave a brief introduction about his sister.

"Hi Mayuri, glad to meet you",Ekantha said.

"Hiii! So what should I call you as?",she asked raising her eye brows and winked her eyes.

"Mayu, don't make her feel embarrassed. Let's go",he said.

"Uh! I was just kidding. Okay, as you know the occasion it's farewell and I want a dress or anything for it. Me and Ekantha garu? Yes Ekantha garu will go and shop and come, by that time you have to buy something for her and she'll do the same? Yea?",Mayuri said.

"Mayu, try to understand da",Abhi was trying to convince his sister and Ekantha cut them off with her words.

"It's okay! I like Mayuri's idea. We'll do that",she said and smiled.

"Are you sure?",he asked and she nodded.

Mayuri and Ekantha went off his sight soon and he was thinking what to gift her, it would be his first gift for her and he wanted it to be special but time was short. He got an idea and ran from there after texting his sister to text him once they're done.

Meanwhile Ekantha and Mayuri walked to the dresses section.

"I am planning to wear a saree for farewell Ekantha garu",she said.

"Hey, you can call me Ekantha not a problem",she replied.

"I am so excited for his wedding, just tell me if it's a yes from you or not for now. I promise I won't tell him",she said and gave her puppy eyes.

"As of now, I don't have a reason to reject him but I do have quite a many reasons for me to say yes to him, let's see where this goes",Ekantha said.

"That's nice! So as of now it's yes! I pray that there should not be any more disturbances. You look cutee together and I ship you both",she squealed.

"Shush a secret between us okay?",Ekantha said and she nodded.

"So can I call you anni(sister in law)?",Mayu asked and Ekantha replied while blushing.

"Now I really can't wait to see you blush more like this, on the wedding day",she said.

"Alright alright, let me see what suits you",Ekantha went to select the sarees which were on display.

"Anni, isn't this cool?",she asked.

"Yea! This is. I love it too",she replied.

"Have a look at this one too",Ekantha showed another one.

" Whoa! Hard time choosing one Anni",Mayu wailed.

"Let me see which one will suit you, the pink one seems classy and looks pretty on you. Try both of them and see which one is good", Ekantha said.

After like confusion for an hour they chose the pink one and shopped some necessary accessories for it.

"Anni, have you thought about anything for bro?",Mayu asked.

"Not yet! I have never shopped for someone or gifted someone before and that confuses me the most",she said biting her nails.

"Oh no, why not go with something which you like at first sight. Just like bro liked you",she said and winked.

"Uh! You are such a tease. Let me see if I can find something",she said and went to see something in the men's section.

She went and looked at everything but nothing seemed right to her. She saw white sneakers and loved them at an instant.

"Excuse me, please pack these",Ekantha told the saleswoman.

She took a sticky notes from her bag, wrote on it and dropped a note in the package.

"Done Anni?", Mayu asked and she nodded.

"Let me text Bro that we are done",she said and in a few minutes he was there visible at a watchable distance walking towards them.

"Done?",he asked and both of them nodded.

"Exchange both of you, and dont open now. Check them once you're back home",Mayu said and both of them exchanged their first gifts.

"And you both this is just the start I hope and.. ",Mayu said.

" Okay okay! Should I drop you home?",Abhi asked.

"Then who will drop Ekantha garu?",she asked.

"Right, I'll ask Dikshit to pick and you drop Mayu home Abhi garu, freshen up and then come home for dinner",Ekantha said.

"But, it will take time for him to come",Abhi was trying to convince her.

"Shush shush, you drop me near the center and I will call dadda to pick me up he goes in that way. So chill guys",Mayuri said and all of them agreed on the point.

They dropped Mayuri at center and waited for their dad to pick her. Once they confirmed that she was safe, they travelled to Ekantha's home.

"Ma, we're back home",Ekantha said in a loud tone.

"Come in dear",her mother welcomed Abhi in a homely way.

"Dear you just settle down, do you want to freshen up?",Kanyaka asked.

"Uh yes aunty!",he said and Kanyaka guided him to one of the washrooms and gave him towel.

After both of them freshened up, they had a hearty meal. With the addition of Gulab Jamun Abhi was taken aback.

"Did you really ask aunty to make it for me yesterday?",he asked and she nodded.

He devoured every piece of it and completed his dinner.

"Trust me aunty, best gulab jamun is home made one it has your love which makes it even more yummier",he said and Kanyaka patted his cheek.

"I am sorry I couldn't get you anything aunty. But next time I would definitely get something for you, if only there is next time",he said.

"I am kind of sure dear now that there is more next times",Kanyaka said.

"Ahem! I exist here everyone. Abhi garu, will you be able to make to aunty's home tomorrow?",she asked.

"For sure! We planned quiet a few things already",he said and winked.

"Ekantha kanna, go and see him off",she said and Ekantha nodded.

They both walked till his vehicle and he settled down.

" I am excited to see your gift and dont think much if I will like it or not. Whatever it is I am sure I will love it so right now I have to go and you need to have a good night sleep as it's your first day tomorrow. Here are my best wishes to you and here is my lucky sentiment which kind of brought luck into my life. I'll give it to you, here take it",he said and handed her a bracelet.

"Thank you so much Abhi garu, this really means a lot and good night",she said and he drove off from there.
