Abhinav Shetty, the guy soon to be S's beau, was so excited to know through his parents about S's arrival with her celebrity friends for their engagement. He wanted to give them a treat and so he called up S's dad.

S's dad: Sweety, Abhinav wants to take us and your friends for lunch. Will it be ok ?

Sweety was not happy.

S's: Appa, we're not engaged yet why does he want to give treat now ? We'll see to it later.

S's dad: I agree with you dear and I told him the same as well but he is very eager to meet you in person and also your friends. Anyway everything is finalised, tomorrow is your engagement besides we're not sending you alone, we're all going to be there.

S: Hmm...

S's dad: You don't seem convinced it's ok dear I'll call and tell him we can meet up after the engagement.

S: Wait appa... I'll ask my friends... if they're ok to go then we can.

When Sweety told her friends,

D rose from his seat as if his bottom was on fire. All looked up at him.

D: I won't agree ! What kind of a guy is he ?? Indecent, cheap fella. Doesn't he have any sense ?? He wants to meet the girl before engagement. You know what a big crime it is ??? Avvaaa!!(placing his palm over his mouth)...if this was bhimvaram, they would have tied him to a tree, beaten him blue-black and called off the engagement. Chi chi chi disgusting fella...

He expressed rage in his eyes and clenched his fist in anger.

He jumped on the sofa and hopped from one sofa to the other until he reached S and cowered behind her covering his face with the end of her duppatta. All burst out laughing.

T: Pabsu relax ! He was pulling your leg there is no cockroach. Hahaha..

D: No I don't believe you ! There is a cockroach!! 😰

S: No Pabsu there isn't...

He looked over S's shoulder and glanced around. Only when he was sure there wasn't any cockroach he removed the duppatta from his face and sat properly next to her. Still he refused to place his feet on the ground and kept it bent.

Ra: What happened to bhimvaram abbayi Veera Venkata Sathyanarayana ??

SSR: Scared for a cockroach but he was roaring like a lion.

He felt embarrassed and hid his face in her duppatta. S came to support of her friend.

S: Aaawww Pabsu pa... it's ok..Raj garu he is brave but only scared of cockroaches. Right Pabsu?

He bobbed his head.

D: And lizards...and snakes...and thieves and party poppers...and...

He began to read out a list but was cut short by SSR.

SSR: Ok ra we agree you aren't scared of anything now jokes apart the boy has invited us all and I think we should go else it would be insulting him.

D: You all go... I won't come...

S: If Pabsu is not going I'll also not go...

R: If bro and bava are not going then pls excuse me there is no fun without my bava and bro...

T: My three besties aren't going what would I do there alone ?? So boring ! Nah !!! I am not coming.

D thought for a while.

D: Hmm...if we don't go it'll be like an insult and they might hold grudge against you which could escalate to further issues in future... Sweety should be happy at her husband's place. We'll all go.

S informed her dad and they all got ready to leave. S wore a blue silk saree and matching accessories. She kept her hair loose with curls at the end.

D wore his usual hoodie in green colour and a black pant.

R: Bava, we are going to meet bro's beau... why don't you dress well, wear a neat pant and shirt?? Always this bazaar sales hoodie.

D: We're going to see her would-be, not mine na ? This itself is a big thing for that bhel puri seller. Come.

R: 😳😳

They arrived at the venue which was one of Bangalore's most posh hotels. Abhinav was ahead of time and waiting for them at the driveway. S and her family got down the car first.

Abhinav(Ab): Hello uncle, hello aunty.. Hi Sweety !

He smiled and greeted them.

S: Hello...

Ab: Beautiful saree. You're looking more gorgeous in person than the photo.

S: Thank you.

Her parents and brothers continued talking to him while S kept turning behind to look for the car of her friends.

In the car,

D was seated in the middle of Rama garu and SSR. R was in the passenger seat beside the driver. T sat behind SSR, Rama garu and D. D was restless, sitting on the edge, placing both his hands on either seats hunching forward and looking out of the front window.

D: Oh no ! I don't see their car !!!

R: They must have reached before us.

D: That means he would have seen bangaram and shook hands with her ! That selfie mental would have taken some selfies also to post in her insta...Aaahhhh !!! Go fast ! Go fast !

He urged the driver.

He couldn't relax. He wanted to be there to save Sweety from petty fella. Finally they reached. He pushed SSR and got down the car first.

SSR: Ouch ! What is wrong with this fella ? He's behaving like a crackpot ever since we came here!

D hastened and seeing her car he slowed down. Abhinav was talking to her parents while S was meddling with her phone sitting aloof on a bench in a corner.

He felt relieved seeing her alone.

D: Phew ! Bangaram is safe !! He's far away.

Suddenly he saw Abhinav walking towards her. D ran to the spot.

Ab: Sweety, why are you standing here ? Come, join us.

S: Waiting for my friends.

He came and stood infront of S shielding her from petty guy.

He greeted D with a wide grin.

He said in a regal manner stressing on the uppalapati, his pride. His baritone made it the more royal. It was a fangirl moment for S! S felt like whistling like a crazy D fan at the mention of his name but she had to behave so refrained from doing and smiled inwardly. Abhinav forwarded his palm for a handshake. D wasn't interested and kept his hands inside his pockets pretending to look elsewhere until he was nudged by S. For her sake D shook hands with Abhinav.

Ab: Pleased to meet you Prabhas.. 😀

D feigned a smile. Soon the rest joined and were introduced to each other. They went inside.
