||Mishal POV||
I looked out of the window and Zayaan was busy typing on his phone. We were going to the hall where our reception was.
His mother told me in the morning that there was a huge number of guests which were invited. I didn't want to go but then it wasn't a reception without bride.
Driver stopped the car in front of the entrance. Zayaan got out of the car while I tried to smooth my lengha.
The door was opened and Zayaan helped to carry my lengha while I climbed out of the car. Once I stood he held my hand and we both started walking.
“I will leave tomorrow for some important work. You don't have to worry about anything because driver and maids were there with you,” He said keeping his face straight.
I smiled looking at the guest who were smiling at us.
“When will you come back?” I asked quietly.
He didn't speak which made me think maybe he hadn't heard me. We both sat on the stage and his parents came to us.
Her mother hugged me and kissed on my both cheeks.
“Ma shaa Allah! You are looking gorgeous, dear!” She said looking at me with a big smile.
“Thank you!” I said, shyly.
She looked at Zayaan who was talking about some business with his father. She rolled her eyes at them and pulled her husband away from her son.
“They just recently married. Let him enjoy the starting days of his wedding life. I don't want you to talk about business with him at least today,” She ordered her husband who smiled at his wife.
“OK! OK! I will not talk about business today,” He said with a soft tone.
They both went to greet the guests. I and Zayaan was sitting together and guests were congratulating us one by one.
“I don't know,” Zayaan spoke.
“Huh?” I looked at him in confusion.
“I don't know when I will come back,” He answered my earlier question.
I nodded my head and thought what would I do in his absence and that was all alone in his house.
“You can go out whenever you want,” He answered my unasked question.

When I woke up the whole house was silent. I rose up from my bed and went in the washroom to look presentable.
I exited from my room and looked at the door of Zayaan room. I stood in front of his door, wanted to see if he was still here or not.
I opened the door and met with them dark and silent room. His room was dark and the curtains were closed, not letting the sunshine to pass in the room.
I pulled the curtain one side, letting sunshine entered in the room. I looked around his room and saw a family picture in which I saw unfamiliar yet familiar face.
Before I saw the picture closely I heard sounds. I went out of his room and followed the sounds. Maybe he was still here.
The sounds were coming from the kitchen. When I entered in the kitchen I saw a man who was cooking.
“Who are you?” I asked in frightened voice.
He turned around and looked at me. He narrowed his eyes at me then a smile formed on his lips like he knew who I was.
“So, you are the famous Mishal who tamed our boss. Nice to meet you, ma'am. I am your husband cook, Kamal,” He introduced himself.
“Nice to meet you, too,” I mumbled ignoring his first sentence.
“Ma'am, please wait in the dinning for five minutes. Your breakfast is almost ready,” He said pointing towards the stove.
“You don't have to cook for me. I can cook for myself,” I said him, politely.
“It's my job to cook. If I stop cooking then what will you call me?” He asked with a sly smile, moving towards the stove.
“Maybe one day I let you cook then we both will see who is better cook,” He said more like challenging me.
I smiled at him but it vanished when I felt dizzy. I looked around the kitchen and moved out the kitchen for the fresh air.
“Are you fine, ma'am?” He asked.
“Yeah!” I said quietly.
I sat in on the chair in dinning hall and Kamal came with a glass of water. I gladly accepted the glass and drank it.
“You look so weak. I will make you healthy with my healthy recipes,” He said vanishing in the kitchen.
He came back with breakfast and my mouth watered with its aroma. He placed it in front of me and I moaned taking first bite.
“I know you will definitely like it. People doesn't call me Kamal in such way,” He said with a wink.
“Don't flirt with her, Kamal. Sir will kill if he comes to know you are flirting with his wife and also your fiance will kill you,” A girl said, appearing in the dinning hall.
I laughed at Kamal face and looked behind him at the girl with smile.
“I am Rouza. I am housekeeper,” She said with a shy smile.
“So, who is your fiance?” I asked as I took one bite.
“My angel,” He said with blushing cheeks and escaped a dreamy sigh.
I and Rouza giggled at him. Anyone could tell love was in air.

I was sitting in the living hall when the doorbell rang. I didn't know we were expecting guest because Zayaan was not here.
“I’ll check!” Rauza yelled and went to see who was here.
I stood up in surprise when Zayaan parents entered in the living hall. Mom came near me and pulled me in a bear hug.
“How are you?” She asked looking at me.
“I am fine,” I said with a smile.
“But you are looking a little pale. Are you really fine? Do we need to go to doctor?” She asked as she examined my face.
“No!” I quickly said, “I am fine. I just have a little headache nothing more,” I said slowly.
She nodded her head like she believed me. They both sat on the couch and looked around.
“Where is Zayaan?” Dad asked me.
“He is out of city,” I said, confusedly.
“Without you?” Mom gasped, loudly.
I looked at her in confusion. I thought they might know he was not in city.
“Silly girl. You both recently married. How could you let him go? And why are you not ready like a newly bride?” She asked pointing at my simple dress which I wore.

Mom made me wear a little fancy dress. According to her, newly bride should always be ready and looked more presentable.
Surprisingly, mom, somehow, came to know where Zayaan was and told the driver to take me there. She also packed few clothes for me.
I didn't want to go there to interrupt him. I was also feeling nervous but when mom strictly told me to go then I had to listen her.
I didn't know where we were going. I looked out of the window at the trees which we were passing.
Maybe he was going to angry after seeing me there and that thought was making me scared.
A loud scream escaped from my mouth when I heard gunshots and the window shattered in many pieces.
