Author's POV: 

"Happy Anniversary Y/NTae!!" Mina and Jungkook cheered, bursting the party poppers as you squeezed your eyes saying, "THAT'S SO LOUD!"
"You're louder, love," Taehyung mumbled as you glared at him but he smiled. 
"How come you both haven't got ready yet? Let's go to the party." Mr Kim said as Taehyung replied, "I thought we agreed to have a small little family party."
"How can it be small when it's your anniversary?! My two little kids!!" Mrs Kim said as your mom nodded saying, "True. Your father would've loved that too.."

"I wish he was here.." You said, your tone becoming a little sad. Taehyung held your shoulder and placed a kiss on your forehead as you closed your eyes.

"We have to be there in 2 hours! Be fast! We're going there soon!" Mr Kim said as you said, "Gosh... thank god I had a gown in my cupboard I've never worn." 
"I would've bought you one if I knew they would do this."
"It's okay hubby, there are tons of other things you can spend on!"
"Like food?" "Yes, exactly." 

You giggled as he smiled at you, shaking his head.

---Time skip 

Taehyung sat there, waiting for you. The others had already left for the venue leaving you both alone. They said that the stars should come alone and together to witness the surprise. God knew what they had arranged. 

"It's always her waiting but why is it me this time?!" Taehyung groaned, knocking on your door. 
"Tae." He heard you call and slowly twisted the doorknob, entering. His eyes widened seeing you standing there, facing the door. A pretty pink off-shoulder thigh-slit gown hugged your curves perfectly as your hair was tied loosely, a few of your strands falling on your face. He was perplexed, you looked so beautiful, too beautiful for his eyes. 

You, on the other hand, were staring back at him with the same amusement. A dark blue shaded suit which matched your outfit in some kind of way. His forehead was showing and his veiny hands were midway in the air. 

He coughed immediately, looking away and asked, "Y-Yeah?" 
"Oh... there's a little chain of this dress... it's stuck at the back, can y-you help?" He looked at you and nodded, blinking. He walked towards you asking, "Turn around.."
You did as he said and felt his hand coming in contact with your back. The chain was short that's why you were struggling a bit, thanks to your hair. He swiped your hair and tried to chain it but frowned. 
"It's stuck.." You nodded at his statement. He slowly pulled the chain downwards making your breath hitch and did it again. You couldn't breathe at all neither could he.

He gulped and put your hair back saying, "There.."
"Thanks." You turned around, smiling at him. He smiled back and held your cheeks saying, "You look so beautiful.."
You broke into a shy smile, looking down. The corner of your eyes was crinkling as he smiled. 
"You look handsome too." You said, fixing his tie a little as he held you by your waist, pulling you closer. 
"I feel so happy right now." He said as you said, "Really? Why?" 
He didn't answer and just placed a kiss on your forehead making your eyes close in relaxation. You giggled a little and said, "Let's go, we'll be late..." 
"I don't want to go... I want to do something else." He said, blankly staring at you. You shouldn't have had that thought but... your mind couldn't control it. 

You stared at him in disbelief as he asked, "Why are you staring at me like that?"
"You just said-" You were half frowning and half grinning. You felt so shameless but those jokes or thoughts made you grin, weirdly. Maybe you were a bigger pervert than you thought you were. 
"Oh my gosh... this woman." He sighed and shook his head saying, "I didn't mean those."
"I didn't say a thing!" You said, frowning. He giggled and said, "I don't mind those either but... hey, you shouldn't think such unhealthy things, you're still a kid." 

"Kid?! Who's a kid!!! Hey!" You huffed as he said, "You." 
He placed a peck on your lips as you said, "I have lipstick!" 
He pressed his lips and said, "My lips look pink now. Nice.. let's go!" 

He walked out of the room as you stared at him saying, "What a tease!"

---Time skip 

"Ladies and Gentlemen, here comes a couple of the night!" The host said as you and Taehyung entered the venue. You gasped as he sighed saying, "Too fancy."
"I agree... how much food is there gonna be?!" You grinned as he looked at you before looking away.
"Don't make me laugh." He warned. You didn't really bother, you were busy searching for some familiar faces and maybe... food? 

You both found your family members, they were arranging everything. You greeted many people, got gifts and cut a cake together, of course, topped with a first-class mess. You were laughing loudly while talking to a kid who happened to be Taehyung's niece, your niece too. 

"Ah, you're so good with kids! You're gonna be a great mom." The kid's mom said as you smiled saying, "Thank you, that's flattering."
"I see it! Being a mom is really hard but.. the way you're so good at handling kids, good luck with your life!" She smiled. You giggled and continued playing with the kid. Soon, Taehyung stood beside you and bent down along with you who was already sitting down with the kid. 
"Hey, champ." He raised his brows at the kid who said, "Uncle!" 
"He's so cute." You said, smiling widely. Taehyung smiled and said, "Should we get a kid too?" 

"What a great question to ask in the middle of a party?!" You said. He eyed you and said, "Well, says the one who's almost sitting on the floor while playing with kids on her anniversary. I should be your attention!" 
You rolled your eyes playfully as he frowned before saying, "Don't tease me, huh?" 
You giggled and said, "Kids are so cute.."

He sighed and smiled, joining you both who were enjoying themselves.

---Time skip 

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Let's do a couple dance, what say?" The host spoke as everyone cheered. 
"Go go kids!!" Your mom cheered and pushed you and Taehyung to the crowd as the host spoke, "Let the middle be empty for our main couple!" 
Taehyung held your hand and walked there. Leaving your hand, he slightly bowed and said, "May I, my love?"
"You already failed the romcoms.." You said, grinning. He winked slightly sending a wave of serotonin into your heart. You giggled and accepted his hand. He pulled you closer as the music started playing. 

The dance started. All the couples were dancing in the empty area in the middle. Mr and Mrs Kim also joined the dance. Your mom was dancing with Jungkook while Mina was dancing with her boyfriend. Everyone had a partner, you smiled widely looking at Taehyung who had his hands around your waist. He smiled and joined his forehead with you as your bodies swayed together. Your grin wasn't disappearing at all, you were feeling so happy, you could cry. 

You had no idea why but it felt so perfect. You and he felt so perfect. 
He spun you around and pulled you back, pecking your lips before spinning you around again. You were giggling and laughing the whole time along with him. The dance was about to end as your bodies moved together, slowly and lovingly. 

Suddenly, he took out something from his pocket as you frowned. It was a ring, a shining bright stone on it. 
"This..."
"Is for you, love." 

"This is diamond.." You gasped, looking at him wide-eyed. He smiled and said, "Can I put it on you?"
"Tae, you don't have t-" "I need to. I told you, I want to give you everything, love." 
You didn't know how to respond. You looked down as he took your hands, sliding them through your ring finger. 
"Thank you.." You whispered. He smiled and kissed your forehead, resuming the dance.

"Y/N.." He whispered. You hummed slowly, staring into his eyes.
"I love you... I really love you so much." He said in a low voice. You looked at him, your stomach doing flip-flops. You gulped and smiled, your head resting on his chest as your bodies continued swaying together. 
"I love you..." You also said it, smiling. Your eyes were brimming with tears, you felt love. The words he had just spoken out for the very first time touched your heart. You looked at him through your glossy eyes as he smiled, wiping the tears from your cheeks. 

"If I could rewind back time... if I could change everything, I would never do it. I loved every single moment with you, Y/N. Whether it was our fights or our sweet moments, our bickering or kisses, I'd love to experience it all again, every bit of it. I love you so much... and I promise, we'll be together forever, I'll hold you close to me forever." He said. You could see his eyes getting glossy. Was he crying? He was. 
It surprised you but that was the reality right now. Both of you were crying, in love. 
"I want to love you... like nothing else. I want to love you the most, the best. I want you to be the only Queen of my life and you will be my only one, I promise, Y/N." 
"I trust you." You said, smiling. 
"You're the one I'd bet my life on, trust me." He said. You pulled him closer and joined your foreheads, wiping his tears. 

Soon, the song stopped immediately but you both were still together. The lights turned off and he leaned in closer, pressing his soft lips on yours... the best feeling that there could ever be.
