Reyhan sat beside Anah while carefully holding the baby in his arms, he looked at Anah. She had her gaze on the newborn. It is her baby, she has given birth to it, a cute little living and breathing baby girl. It's her flesh and blood. These thoughts, the feeling made Anah feel proud, made her feel blessed. She lovingly touched its cheeks, the baby felt like cotton. Tears rolled down her cheeks, happy tears.

'Hey, what are we going to name her?' Reyhan asked looking at Anah.

'Rehaina.' Anah said and then looked at Reyhan. He looked at her surprised.

'She is named after her father,'- Anah smiled, - 'isn't it a beautiful name.' Anah said looking lovingly at Reyhan. He didn't answer, instead, he kept staring at Anah. He felt touched and important when Anah named her baby after him.

'Thanks.' He said after he had found his voice. Leaning forward, he kissed her forehead. Anah smiled closing her eyes.

Anah felt too weak but she requested Reyhan they leave. She didn't want to take any favors from Ejaz. Reyhan agreed, he knew Anah is tried and so he didn't want to argue. He helped Anah stand, she wobbled little and fell on her side against Reyhan. But He held her protectively. Their gaze met and they passed a smile to each other.

Reyhan asked her if she was okay in walking. Anah nodded. Since hers is a normal delivery she wasn't required complete bed rest, but considering she had given birth hours ago she was still exhausted.

Reyhan held her hand tightly and the newborn in the other. Anah kept looking at it concerned but he kept assuring her everything is fine.

As they came out of the room, they found the entire place empty. The decorations have been removed. Reyhan glanced at the grandfather clock in the stairways and noted the time, 3 am, they are so late.

As they walked towards the entrance they stopped on hearing a strong baritone. They turned and found Ejaz at the stairway.

Ejaz is still dressed in his sherwani. From his hoarse voice and red eyes, it is obvious he had been crying. When he came closer, Anah scrunched her nose sniffing the pungent smell of alcohol.

'You won't get any cab now, take my car and the driver.' He said seriously.

'No need.' Anah stepped in but Reyhan held her hand. He looked at her shaking his head. Anah rolled her eyes. Reyhan looked at Ejaz and nodded. Before they left, Ejaz requested if he can hold the baby again. Reyhan looked at Anah who shook her head, she held Reyhan's arm and wanted to leave when Reyhan stopped. Anah rolled her eyes once again as he reminded her that Ejaz had helped them a lot with the child's birth and most importantly he is the father.

Irritated, Anah agreed.

'Thanks for everything, Ejaz.' She said as Reyhan handed the baby to him. Ejaz admired the baby. The baby slowly opened its eyes and blinked at Ejaz. He smiled widely at her and kissed her forehead.

'Rehaina.' Anah said. Ejaz looked at her.

'Beautiful name.' He said and reluctantly handed the baby back to Anah. She forced a smile and walked away with Reyhan. Ejaz watched her go with a sinking feeling in his heart. His phone rang and he looked at it annoyed. It is his parents calling him for the nth time, they will lecture him again saying tonight is his wedding night and instead of being with Pinky, he is wasting his time here. Ejaz cut the call, he didn't want any more argument.

He has decided he will spend the rest of the night in the room where his daughter was born, where his Anah was.

Ipshita was shocked when Reyhan and Anah showed up at her doorsteps with a newborn in their arms. After the shock got sunk into her head she squealed happily and hugged Anah, the two girls swayed on spot. But soon, Anah felt giddy.

'No, No.' Anah said wide-eyed as Reyhan bent to scoop her in his arms. Ipshita was happily admiring the baby who kept blinking and slightly smiling at her.

Anah yelped as he picked her up, - 'You need to hit the gym soon.' Reyhan huffed. He pretended that she was very heavy. Anah slapped his arm and they chuckled.

Anah watched Reyhan lovingly as he placed her on the bed, he had covered her legs with the duvet when a baby's cries rang in the entire house.

'I swear I didn't do anything.' Ipshita yelled worriedly.

Reyhan took the baby in his arms hoping it will quieten but she didn't. Finally, she was handed to Anah.

'I think she is hungry.' Anah said bringing her fingers to her mouth. Rehaina nibbled on her fingers. Anah nodded and looked at the two. They stood watching her.

'Reyhan?' Anah raised her eyebrow. Reyhan shrugged not knowing what she wanted from him.

'Dude, Anah has to feed the baby. Like, Breastfeed.' Ipshita said bluntly.

'Oh!' Reyhan exclaimed, his face reddening. Both Anah and Reyhan felt their cheeks burn with embarrassment.

Later that night, Reyhan and Anah lay on their sides with the baby sleeping peacefully between them. Both propped up on their elbows. Anah admired the baby caressing it gently while Reyhan kept admiring her. Slowly, Reyhan moved his palm and placed it over Anah's. She stopped moving and looked up at him. He smiled at her and she smiled back. Anah liked how he caressed the back of her palm with his fingers. It soothed her. Reyhan looked at the baby and then back at her. Anah noticed tears glistening in his eyes.

'I can't believe, Anu. We are parents.' He said. He could hardly control his smile.

'Yes, Mouse. We are.' She smiled back. Reyhan brought her palm to his lips and kissed the back of her palm.

'Thanks, Anu.'

Anah lowered her gaze, a serene smile on her lips.

Anah and Reyhan in the last Para. Wow *_* Slowly, slowly some feelings in Anah's heart. The way she is looking at Reyhan and the feels :D  Awwww *_*

And Ejaz *heart shatters into million pieces emoji*  

There was a time when Anah needed you but you weren't there and now when you need her she doesn't want to be with you *heartbreak emoji* *cries in corner*
