Quadruple date ahead😋.

Hruday's POV:

"So now that I have your attention, gentlemen let's get to business! " came Krithi's voice.

Right now I feel like I am a prisoner who is about to be investigated by a higher officer whose role is taken up by none other than krithi.

"Do you guys know what I see right now?" Krithi asked looking at me.

When I expressed my confusion through my eyes krithi answered her question -- "Two grown up men who are still stuck in their 5 year old personalities."

"What's wrong with you guys? Why can't you fight like normal guys? " krithi asked .

"You don't know what happened. Actually--" came out another voice in the room which is cut off by Krithi.

"I know enough and it's childish. Oh god! I am talking to children," she kept continuing her lecture.

Well I guess I forgot to mention something.

There is another person in this room but I chose to ignore him as of the moment.

But it's getting quite difficult to ignore him as he is sitting right in front of me.

"It's not childish," That certain someone interrupted Krithi again.

Uh oh! I wouldn't do that if I were him.

Krithi turned towards him with an angry look on her face.

I don't like her looking at Dhanuj even if it's just to glare at him.

"I know you guys have a day off today. So put your stupid ego's aside and talk everything out."

"The vacation time for your friendship is up. I am going to lock this room until you sort out your differences," saying that she walked out of the room leaving me with this idiot.

Sure enough there was a locking sound outside the room.

I turned towards 'who shall not be named' to see him already looking at me with a blank look.

What now !!
Is he expecting me to talk to him first?

No way in the hell am I going to do that. I refuse to speak to him first. It's his fault after all.

So I busied myself looking around the architecture of the room.

Well, the room is built quite nicely!

After a while it got boring. Fortunately my cell phone is still with me.

Thank God the thought of tossing the cell phones out of the window did not cross Krithi's mind.

I played around with my phone for about an hour not caring about the man in front of me.

If he is adamant on not talking to me then let him be. I am even more stubborn than him. He ought to know that.

Suddenly my phone started ringing. I looked at the name displayed only to let out a groan.

What does she want now?
Is it not enough that she locked me in this room?

I answered the call and slowly held the phone to my ear expecting her to scream loudly.

Instead I heard her calm and pleasant voice flowing through the phone.

"Hruday, did you guys talk? Is everything okay now? There is no furniture destroyed in there right!" She asked in a hesitant tone.

Wow!
She has so much concern for her husband. Note the sarcasm.

"No," I answered blankly. I am sure I will be hearing some shouting now.

Surprising me Krithi managed to stay calm even after this.

"Alright I expected this. Now put the phone on speaker and place it on the table," she said.

"Krithi, what are you trying to do?" I asked.

"Just do it Hruday," she said again.

I did as she told.

"You guys are worse than a kindergarten kid. Are you guys retarded? You have been friends since childhood. "

"You have supported each other in every step of your lives. You have such a strong friendship. Then why would you guys forsake it for such stupid reasons? Why can't you forgive each other and move on?" She bursted out.

"Why should I speak to him first?" Dhanuj spoke up first.

"Because you are the one who did the mistake first," I replied.

"Oh really you are the one who punched me you idiot! "

H - "What was I supposed to do? You called me a dumbass. You said my girl friend would leave me even if I had one!!"

D - "You called me a pathetic and heartless monster! "

H - "You did not talk to me the next day when we had dinner at our house! Well, I did expect that from you! "

D - "You did not even call me once to check up on me! "

H - "We thought that we would be doing our PG together in the same hospital. But you joined another hospital deliberately! "

D - "You didn't even invite me to your wedding you bastard! "

H - "Look who's speaking. You atleast got an invitation through my parents. But you did not even sent me an invite! "

D - "Do you really need an invite to come to my wedding Hruday?"

H - "Put the invite aside, I didn't even know that your wedding happened till krithi blew the news on my face! "

He took a deep breath and stood up from his seat. I followed suit and we both walked facing each other.

D - "I am sorry Hruday. I did not mean anything I said! "

H - "The same goes for me. I am sorry too! "

"And from where the heck these sorries came from! " we shouted at the same time.

D - "Using that word is restricted in our friendship right! Give me a hug man! "

We hugged each other. We wasted enough time because of the fight. I would not call it stupid unlike krithi.

Not only that we have been locked down for quite some time.

"Now that we have reconciled, please ask your lady love to calm down and open the door," Dhanuj said desperately after we are done with the hug.

That's when we heard the unmistakable sniffles from my phone which is still resting on the table.

We shared a look and swiftly made our way towards my phone.

"Krithi, is everything alright over there?" I asked a little worried as it's not everyday we get to see krithi cry. Or in my case hear her cry.

"Oh! Krithi, I am soo happy for them," I heard an unfamiliar female voice.

Whoever this woman is she is crying along with krithi!

"I know right," came Krithi's voice.

"Aadhya, please open the door and for God's sake stop crying," Dhanuj said beside me.

He looked so worried. Looks like the other voice belongs to his wife. I can see how much he loves her in his eyes.

Then the line went dead. Dhanuj and I looked at each other not knowing what's happening.

In a few minutes the door opened and the two ladies stood in front of it with puffy eyes and red noses.

Well krithi looks kind of cute like this!!

After we soothed the ladies, we spent the time eating and recalling our memories.

I forgot to mention that we are currently sitting in the hall of Dhanuj's home.

How Krithi managed to drag me here is what only god knows!!!

Krithi's POV :

So the shocking news I came to know is that Dhanuj is married.

After the talk with Hruday I am even more sure that they both miss each other like hell.

Now I am even more determined to solve this feud between these two stubborn idiots.

This is one hell of a mission and I can't do this alone. That's when the new piece of information came to use.

If Dhanuj's wife is anything like me, she would definitely help me in this mission.

So I mentally made a plan to meet her as soon as possible.
Her name is Aadhya and I came to know that she is a very good person!

She also got to know about them after an accidental album view and persistent torture of Dhanuj.

And the good news is she is willing to help me.

Yay!!!!! Lucky me.

After we planned everything putting our brains into it, mind you we have very intelligent brains, we managed to set up everything at Dhanuj's house.

I successfully managed to drag Hruday to Dhanuj's house using some of my skill which are not going to be revealed any time soon.

After I locked them in the room, I rubbed my hands like the evil scientist that I am, waiting for them to reconcile.

After the whole ordeal is over, I managed to find a new best friend in the form of Aadhya.

We planned to go on a double date tonight to mend the old relations and bring some spice in our husband's life.

I'm very excited to go!
I expected Hruday to at least get the word thank you out of his mouth for the hard work I did today.

But all he said was " Let's go home."

Stubborn idiot!!!

Once we reached our room at home, Hruday gripped my shoulders and pushed me against the wall.

He is looking in my eyes as if struggling to tell something.

'Thank you' may be!

I too looked at his glowing face with his eyebrows furrowed
as if he is in a distress.

"Krithi, " and he didn't continued.

Instead he started kissing me with a smile on his lips. I too closed my eyes just to feel the kiss.

After a heated and passionate kiss Hruday stopped it and joined his forehead with mine.

"Thank You, My Sweetheart! " and he pecked me on my lips for another time and left the room.

Why do I feel so hot suddenly?
Is there something wrong with my metabolism?

My cheeks are also emitting heat! Am I turning into a star?

My lips are also throbbing as if expecting the presence of other pair of lips forever with them.

What happened to them?

So this evening I started searching my wardrobe to pick up a dress for the date.

In the corner I saw this red dress which is my favourite gift from my parents for my birthday.

I thought the dress won't fit me as the dress is given 2 years back.

What's wrong  in trying?

So I took the dress out and put it on. It fit well but the problem came with the zip that is present in the back.

I tried for a whole fifteen minutes where Hruday on the other side is knocking the door loudly and asking me to open it as we are getting late for the date.

In the end I accepted my failure and opened the door.

His eyes flowed from my head to toe and gave an approving look.

He gripped my wrist and started pulling me -- " Come krithi. We are already late. Dhanuj just called me and told me that they just started for the restaurant.  "

He came to halt once I tugged at his arm repeatedly.

"Hruday, I'm not ready yet! " I said in a slow voice.

"What! You look ready. Your makeup is perfect. Hair is perfectly styled. Your dress.. " I stopped him.

"Hruday, I can't pull the zip on my back. It's because I cannot hold the zip correctly as the dress restricts the movement of my elbow. It's not like I am fat or anything. It's just the way the dress is designed.... " My rant continued further.

But stopped when Hruday turned me to other side. He moved my hair from the back on to one shoulder.

Instead of zipping it immediately Hruday ran his finger on my bare skin making me shiver.

"Hruday.. " his name escaped from my mouth in the form of a moan.

I felt Hruday lips smooching on my back and this added shivering to my already shivering self.

Instead of pulling the zip up Hruday started pulling it downwards.

What is he doing?
Glad that we are still on the second floor otherwise the possibility of mom and dad witnessing the scene is hundred percent.

"Hru.. " I tried pulling his arm but all he did was -- " Shhh Krithi. Stop your babbling. Let me concentrate on my work!!" in a husky voice.

Once he unlocked the zip till the end he started placing sloppy kisses all over the bare area, while I stood there clutching the wall for support as his  actions are making me go weak at my knees.

As if understanding my misery Hruday encircled his left hand around my waist and gripped it tightly.

I placed my hand on his hand making myself stable.

After his little kissing session he pulled the zip in one go perfectly.

But asusual I didn't recognise that and stood there still closing my eyes scrunching my eyebrows at the loss of touch of his lips on my skin.

"If you want to do it so badly, we can continue in the night. First we have this double date. So let's complete it and then we can continue for how long you want it in the night! " he  said with a smirk on his lips and pulled me downstairs.

As soon as we entered the restaurant I saw a couple giggling.

Unlike other pairs, here the wife is cracking jokes and husband is laughing.

Awkward isn't it? And who comes first in anyone's mind talking about awkward pairs??

Definitely them.

Sne and Bala.

Oh my god!!

Bala is clutching his stomach due to excessive laughing.

Hruday pulled my hand as if asking me to follow him.

" Hruday! See!! Sneha and Bala," I said showing them.

"Oh!! So now we'll be in triple date I guess," he said.

Did he mean to say that they should join us?

Yipeee.

"Definitely" I said and went to them.

I reached them but they didn't even notice me!! I cleared my throat to gain their attention.

"Well, if you don't mind we want to share your awkwardness," I said.

"Krithi. What are you doing here?"

"How are you?" Questions came from them.

"I'm here because we came on a double date with Hruday's friend and I'm fine," I replied them.

"Woah! Do you think Hruday's friend will mind if we join?" Sne asked me.

"What? No. He's more friendly than Hruday actually and there's a very funny story about them. Let's go, we have introductions to do," I said and we went to our table.

Actually their food has already arrived but we asked the waiter to bring them to our table.

Sne walked slowly!
She said she had a very long day and that she is having leg cramps.

Poor girl !!
She works too hard.

Once we reached the table, we made our introductions.

Dhanuj is very surprised that my best friend and cousin got married.

As soon as the foods arrived Sne started eating.

Are'nt I the foodie here?

I can say that Bala is slightly embarrassed by Sne's behavior but he tried to manage.

What's going on?
Marriage definitely changed them.

The talks grew along with the food items on our table.

Aadhya fitted perfectly in our group. To everyone's surprise, she is a doctor too. Great.

The only odd piece here is Sne and she is behaving as if she has no care in the world.

Weird!!
I know she is weird but this is another level of weirdness.

After sometime, She excused herself and went away.

Washroom I guess!

Just a while ago she is laughing with Bala and now she is all serious.

Maybe she wanted to spend some time with Bala.
We spoiled it.

"Hey guys," a voice made me break away from my thoughts.

There stood Manik at a distance, and behind him is non other than Tapaswi.

She looked literally like dragging him away but stopped once we saw them.

Oh!!
I just forgot that they are dating now.
Yes, they are.

"Long time, no see. How are you both school mates?" Manik asked.

"We are fine yaar! Come join us.We have many things to talk about," Dhanuj replied happily.

A very happy Manik and a sour faced Tapaswi joined us.

She sat beside me and whispered -- "I made every attempt to not let him see you guys but see, it happened and now he forgot about me!"

Drama queen!!

Sne returned smiling this time.
When she left for the second time?

What now?
Did she plan anything evil?

"So a quadraple date it is!!" I said gaining everyone's attention.

"Never heard in history," I laughed at my own sentence.

"Yaa, we are awkward!! " tapaswi said killing her food with the fork.

God!!
When will she mature?

We were in deep conversation again when Sne excused herself for the third time and went away.

I looked at Bala.
He only shrugged.

What is Sne's plan?
She does like this only when she is up to something.

We completed dinner by 9 PM. It's very rare for us to sit and enjoy like this.

So I suggested to extend it a bit and got a movie.

The movie we are going to watch is deadpool 2 which is non other than the great Sne's suggestion.

I thought that Bala will object but no! That boy is very much eager to watch the movie.

Living with her for this short time changed him that much?

Hmm... Interesting.

Dhanuj is also very much excited for the movie whereas my entertaining husband is against this whole movie plan.

All that he wants now is to go home and don't know what he wants to do?!

We pushed Hruday and Dhanuj to get tickets because they are still a bit awkward with each other.

Finally!!
After about 20 minutes we got tickets and when we reached, the movie already started.

As I'm a movie lover, I glued my eyes to the screen and walked aimlessly and tripped.

Strong, but not too strong arms prevented me from falling.

I looked back to my right to see Hruday, but his hands are folded and he is just glaring at me.

"Is this how you protect your wife Jiju? " Sne whisper yelled at Hruday angrily.

"Sne, leave it! " I tried to cool down her.

"She has to know how to walk properly, she's not a kid anymore who needs someone to catch her everytime she falls, " he said coldly.

"It's not.. " I stopped Sne from completing.

"Leave it Sne! " I whispered in her ear.

I don't know Sneha loves me this much! She even tried to fight Hruday for me!

But she never behaved like this before. It's hard to believe since she liked Hruday from the start.

So I started thinking of other possibilities. May be she is on her periods!

And by the way what is with Hruday?

He was in a good mood until dinner. Is this all about his dislike towards movie that he is acting like that with me as if I'm forcing him to come with us!

We reached our seats and Hruday preferred to sit at the end of the row beside Manik.

All sat in pairs except ours.
What is he upto?

I sat beside Sne and watched the movie, but more than half of my concentration is in the other end of this row.

Hruday!!

What is with his sudden mood swings?

PMS may be! my brain mocked.

I smiled at how silly my brain works in serious situations like this.

In the middle Sne excused herself and left to washroom I think.

I told her that I will accompany her. But she refused me and rushed towards the exit.

Even after a good 10 min, Sne didn't come. I thought of calling her and brought my phone out to see her already calling me.

"Krithi, Can you please come to the washroom for once!" she said in as if she's hyperventilating.

"Yup. I'm coming. " I cut short the conversation and stood up from my seat.

When I reached the end, Hruday didn't move his legs aside blocking my way.

"Hruday, Please It's urgent. Can you move your legs aside! " I said in a hurried tone.

"What happened? Any thing serious? Shall I accompany you?" with that he started raising from his seat.

To the ladies washroom?
Not allowed!!

"No Hruday, I can go alone!! " with that I rushed towards the washroom.

Don't know what she has landed herself into?

I hope this is not some prank.

Or is she planning to perform a prank with my help?

Then why is she hyperventilating?

Ok, now opening this door will clear all my doubts!!!
