One Month Later:

He can't escape my wrath this time....

This is what I have been thinking since that incident in library.

I tried everything to prove him that I am attractive and I have the capacity to tempt him in every way possible.

Once I purposefully wore another night dress, Tapaswi bought which is much more revealing than the previous one!!!

I did what I thought is a 'sexy catwalk' in infront of the bed many times giving him a clear view, but he just looked at me top to bottom as if I am from other planet and then resumed his work.

Another time I asked him to tie the knots of my blouse on my back when I wore a saree.

I selected a revealing design intentionally but he was like -- 'What do you think of me? I'll call some maid to do that!' and just went out of the room.

My plan is no where near success and it is almost touching the line of failure. I should try much harder!!!

My exposing levels increased with each passing day but nothing seems to have passed through his thick head.

I'm losing confidence on myself and started to think that I'm just not attractive for him....

Until one day...

I came out of the bathroom after taking a good shower knowing that Hruday already left for hospital.

I was still thinking which dress to wear today and suddenly the door click caught my ears and my heart raced with the thought of who it might be.

I turned my head still gripping the towel tight to me and saw Hruday standing there looking at me.

'At me' in the sense not into my eyes or not even my face. His eyes are travelling down and down.

God!!! What should I do now??

'Run, go to washroom and do not return till he goes away' my mind suggested me.

But my ego is having some other plans!!! why can't I use this situation to attract him...

With that I completely turned towards him and there he is still looking at me with wide eyes.

I moved an inch forward and he turned away.

"I have forgotten my wristwatch!!" saying that he headed to the night stand where he usually keeps it.

"Maybe I can help you Hruday?" I said huskily and started moving towards him.

"No..no that's not required, it's just here. I got it." He said.

"You still didn't get what you really wanted to get, did you?" I said moving even closer.

He backed away to the wall and immediately turned away from me.

"You should have some manners not to come infront of opposite gender like that!!! " he sneered at me.

"There's nothing wrong in this since you are my lovely hubby, right?!! " I mocked at him.

Even before I could touch him he dashed towards the door like his dress caught fire and left the room.

I smiled at his behaviour and locked the room seeing his retreating form.

Well,I got back my confidence. Thanks to my towel, from now on this is my favorite towel and I'll use it as my weapon wherever required!!!!

Hahaha....

At present we are in Bala's native place,a village in Andhra where Sne and Bala's wedding is going to happen.

His paternal Grandparents are living there and they wanted the marriage to happen under their supervision with their rituals.

I'm so happy for them!!!

But I wonder how he managed to make Sne accept this...

Could it be that she too developed a crush on him or what?!!

Whatever the reason maybe finally I'm going to see my Bala happy with his crush or should I say his love!!!

Today is haldi and I wore a white coloured dress with gold coloured border.

I left the room with Tapaswi as we both are getting dressed in her room.

The ceremony is held separately and after I completed immersing Sne in haldi I went towards Bala's section where he is already drenched in haldi.

Looking at him I suddenly remembered a line he used to say whenever I wear an yellow dress in our childhood.

'Yellow yellow dirty fellow sitting on a buffalo ' lol 😂

How much covered he might be in haldi, I want to make him much more drenched.

As I went to him to apply this large amount of haldi I picked up with my palm...

He stood up from his place and started running.

But I won't leave you this easily Bala!!! I will take revenge for what you did on my haldi...

So I chased him and some of his cousins came in between to stop me but I pushed them and chased much faster.

In between we heard Radha Aunty yelling -- "Bala!!! Why are you running? Let her apply the haldi naa!! You are already covered with haldi from head to toe and a little more is not gonna damage you! Right!!"

But this Bala didn't stop!! Then I used my trick...

"If you want to see how someone is looking for her haldi, then you have to come to me!! " and I showed him my cell phone.

He groaned loudly and immediately took a 'U' turn towards me. I patted his shoulder and circled my left hand around his neck and applied the haldi I'm carrying in my right palm on his face.

"Arghhhh!!!Krit-kat!!!" He yelled.

I smirked at him and now it's my turn to run away, teasing him.

Suddenly somebody caught me tightly and I'm unable to run.

Who has the guts to stop me from saving myself from Bala's attack???

I glared at the person and raised my head to see similar brown orbs.

He signaled some one while I'm still looking at his features and in a second I'm completely struck with haldi.

My breathing became ragged and I hit Hruday with my fists to leave me but he is laughing carelessly looking at my face and I can hear Bala's laugh in the background.

But I'm stunned seeing Hruday laughing wholeheartedly.

I only saw him when he smile, sorry smirk but I never knew he could even laugh.

But his charms increased when he is laughing!!!

"Look at you krithi! You are smiling when you are drenched in haldi. Do you like it that much? Let me put some more on you!! "
he told me smirking.

'Am I smiling??'

He loosened his grip to leave but I tightened my grip on his shoulders and pulled him towards me.

He looked shocked at my attempt. I smirked at him this time and gripped his neck and rubbed his cheek with mine.

His breath quickened as if this act of mine affected him so much.

I too felt some butterflies running in my stomach hust by the touch of his trimmed beard on my cheek!!!

After that I reached his other cheek and painted that too with the haldi. I loosened my grip on him and looked at him only to see him closing his eyes and stiff as a rock.

"Rooms are over there, just go straight and take left," Bala suggested.

"It's you who'll be needing those room from now onwards."

Hruday who came out of his statue moment teased Bala and Bala like a girl turned crimson red.

"Haha Bala!! Take this, you can't escape my intelligent husband!!" I said proudly keeping my elbow on Hruday's shoulder.

I don't know from where I got the guts and I suddenly felt awkward.

What am I even doing?!!
Acting like a proud wife?!

I looked at him to see him giving me his usual arrogant smirk.

I dropped my gaze and removed my hand from his shoulder and left to see whether Sne's haldi is completed or not?!

When I reached there Tapaswi started shouting -- " See guys!! It's Sne's haldi and here our Krithi madam seems to be celebrating it quite nicely. She acts like she is going to be married soon and not like a married woman!!" and all people there started shouting and my parents too are smiling at me.

Anyways because of this wedding I got to spend sometime with my parents after long time. Infact It might not be that long but for me its very long!!

I glared at her and my cousin, Payal who is hooting on stupid's statement and left to take a good shower.

This village is very beautiful and its very nice to breath fresh air that came across the agricultural fields.

I came out of the shower and left my hair to dry normally and went to Sne's room where she is getting ready for the next ceremony.

Bala's Grand mom asked me to visit this Old temple in the village as it is famous for its reputation of blessing married childless couples with children.

She is some what worried that I'm not pregnant, yet it's just been a month since I got married.

I don't know what to do and looked at my mom to see her signaling me with her eyes to accept it.

So I nodded at grand mom and once I left her I looked at my mom to ask her why she made me to accept it!!!

It's not like I'm going to conceive a baby tomorrow!!!

I went to my room to change into a traditional wear and my mom knocked at the door and asked me to put this flowers in my hair

It's very rare to see me wearing flowers in my hair.

But since I came to a village where there will be lot of flowering plants my mom placed this maala of Jasmine and firecracker flowers in my hair. I left my long hair like that as it is still not completely dried.

We came out and saw my dad and in-laws ready with Hruday in his casuals standing leisurely by the side.

He looked at me and turned to the other side...

What's his problem?!
Am I looking that bad or what?!

But there are times where he stared at you drooling my mind reminded me.

Meanwhile mom lead me to Hruday and I stood beside him like a stone.

It's not like I'm expecting compliments but atleast he could have looked at me for second time!!!

Arghhhh...

I don't know what I want from him!

Our visit to the temple was good. The temple itself is very beautiful.

After we completed our prayer, we sat on the steps to eat the Prasad right there in the temple.

After washing my hands while coming to the front of the temple I happen to see a very beautiful view of sunset!

I stood there just soaking in the beauty of the sky when I felt a hand circling around my shoulder.

I looked up to see Hruday enjoying the view just as much as I am!!!

I too looked forward towards the sky with a smile on my face.

I don't know why but I slowly placed my head on his shoulder and in response he just tightened his hold on me.

He mentioned that both our parents left for the wedding place and asked us to come fast as Mehndi is starting in an hour.

I nodded my head and started leaving the temple silently with him trailing behind me.

"Hey!Why are you acting weird suddenly?"

"No.I'm not. Just not cool with your company! That's all!" I replied him savagely.

"But someone told me differently earlier during haldi!! " he gave his quirky reply.

I tried to warn him using my index finger and turned backwards fastly but lost my balance because of this long skirt!!

But Hruday held my hand and pulled me forwards balancing me.

I immediately held his shoulders because I don't know what will happen to me if I fall.

I opened my tightly closed eyes slowly to look at him who is looking at me with a worried look on his face.

But that emotion swept off as fast as I blink my eyes.

We separated from each other when women who are climbing the steps gave us weird looks.

We slowly walked down the stairs and he held my hand all the time that too interlocking our fingers.

We walked side by side throughout our way to the wedding area since it's near to the temple.

Once we reached I went to Sne to see the beautifully designed mehendi on her hands.

We teased her for sometime and I came to know that Sne can also blush!!!

Aww.....
What a beautiful scene!!!!

After that we left for our rooms and Since I'm a 'married woman' now they gave me room with Hruday and I lost the chance to stay with my girls to celebrate a much needed girls night.

I entered the room to see it empty. I sat on the small cozy bed near the edge.

I want to take a shower as soon as possible and for that I have to remove the jewelry.

I removed the pin that is holding my pallu in place. I started searching for towel to jump into washroom fastly.

Just then Hruday came, not from outside but from washroom!!!

What the heck!!!

I wonder how he can manage to do things silently?!!!

Is he a vampire or what!!!

I looked at him from the corner of my eyes. I can see him breathing. So guess not. He sure shows signs of life.

He looked at me and turned his head away!

This time I seriously want to tempt him!!!

I'm going crazy because of his unaffected self. I desperately want to win now...

'But krithi, it's already night and and what if he proceeds...' my heart warned me.

'Yah!! Like he did in your previous attempts' my mind mocked at it.

My Self esteem is larger and heftier than me, so I decided to start the play.

I'll make him take his words back today!!!

What are we going to do?

'Do or die' all my insides screamed.

Ok, but I have to make a big move!!
Very big move!!!

"Hruday baby!!! How am I looking now like this? " I asked him as innocently as possible even though I wanted to laugh like an evil witch.

'Ok, just let him get attracted to you in a way a man gets attracted to a female and just leave him for his sake' my mind said.

Yes, I know it works but I shouldn't let him go too far, never.

I'm in my thoughts when he made himself comfortable on the bed and said, " You looked 'ok' in complete half saree in the evening and now you are standing half naked shamelessly in front of me! Not only that but asking me how you are! Don't you have atleast little shame or do you always roam like that?!" he whispered yelled.

This angered me so much. I cooled myself and answered him -- " No. I have manners Hruday! That's why I'm like this only infront of you. I'm just letting my handsome hubby to see this beauty of mine! "

He looked at me from top to bottom when I spelled 'beauty' as if insulting me.

He is insulting me in every way possible.

"See krithi, don't waste your time and energy in tempting me with your exposing. It will not work on me!!!" he said bluntly.

The words spilled out of my mouth before I could stop myself!!

And now it's too late to take them back now...

"Why?? Are you a gay or what?"
