Next day

Jungkook woke up to the bright sunlight which made its way into his room. It's summer in Yakutsk and the mornings are a little earlier than usual.

As he sat scratching his scalp, he noticed the usual morning coffee was not beside him on the table.
He frown "What's he doing?" He hoped off the bed "Where's my coffe...." He paused

He looked at tae all cuddled up on the sofa.
It's usually chilly at night.
Jungkook walked closer. Tae was shivering from cold. He has slept on the sofa the whole night
Kook cleared his throat "Um.....tae?"

Tae didn't reply. He kept shivering as sweat started to form on his forehead
"Taehyung? You okay?"

Jungkook placed his hands on tae's forehead. It was burning hot. He immediately moved tae a little checking on his neck "Goodness your burning"
He walked towards his phone and dailed the nearby medic.
Suddenly he heard the knock from outside.
He looked at the time which read '10am'

"Whose here at this time?" He walked towards the door and opened the front door only to find jimin. His husband's best friend.

"Oh. Hello" jimin without hesitant walked into the house "Where's taebear?" He asked removing his shoes
"He's sick. I'm taking him to the hospital so you should probably g...." Before he completes jimin rushed into the house with his boots on

He looked at tae lying on the sofa "Tae...?" He shook his friend a little "Are you okay?"

"Excuse me? Jimin-shi? I'm taking him to the hospital....if you move...."

"I'll take him" jimin said wrapping tae's arms around his neck, he lifted tae bridal style as he walked past kook. It all happened in a fraction of seconds and kook stood there dumbfound.

"Hello!" He walked behind jimin "He's my husband. I know to take care of him"

"Is it? Well...take care of him next time" saying this jimin placed tae into the car.

"It's cold!" Kook said wrapping his arms around his chest "He's not dress properly for the wheath. .."

"I have a spare coat" saying this jimin walked towards the driver seat and drove the car past kook.

Jungkook stood there, cold breeze brushing his whole body. The icy cold wind started to create frost on his hairs.
"What's with him?" He shook his head walking back into the house.

Hello....sir? Anybody there?
Sir?

He looked at his phone.
"Hello?"

Hello sir? You called 101 emergency number? Is everything okay sir?

"Yes..... Sorry for the inconveniences.... My husband wasn't feeling well however we have taken him to the hospital"

You sure sir? Everything is fine?

"Yes ma'am. Everything's fine" saying this kook cut the call.
He sighed looking at the messy sofa where tae was lying few minutes ago
"Whose your husband exactly? Him or me? You spend most of the time with that a-hole but legally, I am your husband? Your making me sick tae!"
He clenched his fist "Better get well soon and reach home before I'm back" saying this he went to get ready for work

"Patient name?"

"Kim Taehyung. 28 years old..." Jimin looked at tae who was burning hot "btw....he's pregnant...."

"Oh is it?" The doctor checked the pulse immediately and smiled "Your right" he called one of the nurse "Shift him to warmer ward" he looked at jimin "Your the father? Congratulations..." He tapped on jimin's shoulder. Jimin couldn't say no coz in Yakutsk....it's illegal for a man to get pregnant before marriage and moreover......having an husband beside will help with medical registration faster instead of much questions.

"Sir please fill in the details"

Jimin nodded, he filled all the details
Relationship with Patient?

Jimin signed "What all you make me do Taehyung?" He sighed
"Husband" he wrote and gave the notepad to the nurse.
"Please wait here sir. We will let you know about the patients status"

Jimin nodded.
He stayed there the whole afternoon.
Tae's fever went up due to the cold weather. Since he didn't eat anything properly for two days straight, he became weak leading for a fever.
His pregnancy is another reason for his sickness.

Around 3pm
"Sir you may visit the patient now. He's feeling better" the nurse said, handing over the bill

Jimin nodded
He looked at the bill "what the...." He sighed. The bill amount was twice his salary.
Usually, medication is very expensive in Yakutsk due to the cold weather. The hospitals and schools will always be warm. Keeping the inner atmosphere and the humans inside warm to the deadly cold weather.

He shook his head walking inside tae's ward

Tae smiled as jimin walked in "How did I...."

"I took you here. You were barely conscious and that asshole didn't even care to take you to hospital"

"He wakes up late. Maybe he didn't notice..." Tae barely whispered

"Keep supporting him and look where he has got you. Your pregnant with his child tae. You better get it straight with him" he showed the bill "You see this? It's too expensive here for you to raise the kid all by yourself okay? Don't you even think of raising the baby all alone. The least you can do is claim the child support from him"

"Jimin-ah......I understand your worried about me. Don't worry....I'll be fine. Even the baby"

Jimin sighed "You won't understand now....." He shook his head "I'll pay it this time"

"How much is it?"

Jimin showed the bill "200k RUB"

"What!?"

"They ran the checks for your baby too. The baby is healthy however since your 2 months prego..... Next few days gonna be difficult"

Tae pouted "I'm sorry ....I'll pay you back as soon as we reach home"

"That's alright. Consider this as my gift for this new champ~" jimin caressed tae's stomach "How beautiful will the baby look? Father as hot as a sculpture and mother as beautiful as an ocean"

Tae blushed. He was happy. He's excited for the new life growing in him at the same time he's worried about his husband

Tae and jimin made their way home, however jungkook's bike was right outside the house. It was 7pm....but Jungkook was already home?

"I'll go by myself jimin. You get back to work...you said your doing your night shift today right?"

Jimin nodded. He understood it's not right for him to get into the house now.

"Okay then. Take care. Ring me up if you need anything"

Tae nodded with a smile and waved to jimin.
He took a deep breath as he clenched the files in his hand.
Okay tae. You can do this. Tell him about the pregnancy..... He deserves to know it.
I can persuade him to keep the child. If not, I can promise him that I'll never trouble him once the child is born. Yes.... I can do it.

Tae took a deep breath
"I'm home~" he opened the main door and stepped in.

He placed the hospital files and covers on the table. He turned on the light of the hall

"Where the fuck were you?"

Taehyung coughed by the clouded cigar smell
"Jungkook....you smoke?"
He waved his hands in front of his nose "Jungkook.....how much did you smoke....the cigar scent is too muc..." The sudden bang on the table made tae flinch

Jungkook stood as he walked closer to tae "I asked you...." He cupped tae's cheeks harshly "Where the fuck...were you?"
