6~ Let's Go Get Married.

N'DJAMENA, CHAD.

"That doesn't matter but for your information, I'm nineteen. We are going to get married right now in the mosque." She stood up with nonchalance seeing as Sa'eed stared at her as though she's hit her head somewhere and is now mentally unstable.

Not that she cared what he thinks of her at that time, no scratch that, at anytime. She needs to have her plan set in motion, she hates delaying when she feels like something is important and now her priority is getting married to this rich El-Kanemi guy.

She can't afford letting him slip off her finger, he looks as cunning and sly as she is. One wrong move from her, her plan will fall and follow the drain, that she can't afford. She needs that last name to her name as soon as possible, she doesn't care in what way. Whether legal or illegal, wholeheartedly or selfishly, she needs that royal name related to her.

Her singlehood is not her concern anymore when she is about to be one of the richest women in Chad, maybe even the top one. She ain't going to stay tied to him when she gets the amount she wants. She only want to enjoy the lavish life of being a royal and not take away the chance of going to Nigeria. She's always wanted to visit that place hearing that they have so many amazing places, she hopes they are right.

She's been living in Chad her whole life, a little exploring will do. Tasneem would want to come with her but she can't say a thing about it if she gives her that story. But then again, the girl is in love with a proud Chadian who won't leave Chad because his wife wants to explore another country. She can't even picture Hakim supporting her decision, he'd think she is crazy.

Maybe she will have to do the explorings herself, she wouldn't mind doing that. She can take photos and send it to Tasneem here, what a great way to make her friend jealous for daring her like that. Never dare the daredevil especially the one with history of never failing to have if fulfilled for her pride. The last thing she would do is let it flow down the drain.

"Wait, are you really not a patient in one of those psychiatries? Because you surely act like your brain isn't in your skull, that is if you have one." He now looks at her warily seeing her standing up, keeping the remains of her doughnut by the side.

"This is me being nice, Mr. El-Kanemi. If I unleash my beast, you won't like that side of me so just stand up and let's go before I back out from this plan." She narrowed her eyes, slurping in the remains of her caramel coffee really loudly and unladylike.

If he dare ruin her plan of marrying a rich man, she will make him pay dearly for it. And she is saying the truth, that side of hers is the nicest but when she unleashes her trouble fire side, he won't like it. She only wants them to get married first then she will make sure he never will talk back to her disrespectfully. If only he knows what she has planned for his life, she will make him her puppet. He doesn't look easy even in the eyes but she knows how to work with those people.

They are going to have to work out that attitude of his, he makes her so angry but she needs to keep her calm and let this finish first. As soon as she becomes a Mrs. El-Kanemi, she knew she's achieved a goal so all her kindness will be kept aside which is why she doesn't want the wedding to be delayed. She needs to fold the paper away, make this marriage a deal to much lavishness that is about to be poured in her life.

Good things really comes to those who wait, she's waited for such excessive extravagance.

"Stop being a bitch. It's just marriage, why are you in a hurry to get into it? Aren't girls supposed to be fan girling when they are to be married? Start planning for what to wear and how they want their first nights but you are just in a hurry to say yes. And not to forget the record you broke, you proposed to me." He heated in annoyance seeing she is really ready to go get married to him then.

"And stop being an asshole and stand up. You are being a loser and a coward let's go. Being a pussy doesn't suit a man. Since I'm not being a chicken, you can't be one here. Get up!" She ordered, her face reddening only slightly being flustered due to talking too much.

She was surprised when he cursed because he didn't look like those men that will curse for some sort of small issue. She thought he was pious and wouldn't curse no marred the situation but since he's started, she will make sure she give him a taste of his own medicine. Tasneem always scolds her for being a curser and she could never stop resulting to her endless trips to detention for cursing at teachers.

She's found a match, finally they can compete to see the best.

"I was thinking about you but I guess with you, I should always be selfish because of your bitchiness. Let's go now." He button up his suit and made his way to the door while she followed closely behind him with her head held up high.

She hopes this goes without trouble as she can't take much of it from them, she needs to be married as soon as possible. She likes doing everything as soon as she gets the plan plotted or there would be trouble for her. The longer she let things stay, the longer it takes for her to get through with her plan which is why she likes the saying, make your food since the leaves are green before it turned yellow or it won't be as good. That is what she is going to do with it.

"Please, let's be selfish from today onwards so we don't have to go through unnecessary argument." She glared at his back before he opens the door.

"I know I'm going to regret marrying you, I'm very sure of that. You are bad news." He gritted through his teeth then stepped out of the room seeing the other clients sitting on edge.

All of them look surprise to see them out in one piece and that too without taking too much long. Either they have killed each other and reincarnated or they fell asleep without knowing. Each and every one of them know how much trouble Mr. El-Kanemi is, he is a man who does illegal actions for what he wants and she is not the patient one, take action easily, so seeing them staying together in one room then coming out unscathed took them by surprise.

"What have you decided, Sir?" They stood up at the same time looking between the calmly looking business partners that don't look bothered by the others presence nor did they look like they want to throttle each other.

"We'll be back in about an hour. The meeting is dismissed, we've come to a mutual understanding." His words were silent, curt and left no room for negotiations.

"Okay, Sir." They all gave short nods but their brows are furrowed together on their forehead looking in deep concentration. They want to solve the unsaid, unseen problem that is about to blow like a nuclear bomb.

"Can't I come with you? I don't think it will be safe for you two to go somewhere alone, just for caution." Mu'adh whispered to him walking beside Sa'eed out of the company with Suhayr beside him but she acted like she hasn't heard him. She don't have time for not mandatory stuff, till she tackles her wedding.

She never thought this day would come, not this early at least!

"You should stay back and book some hotel for us. It looks like we are not leaving today after all." He said to Mu'adh watching his legs as they walk in long strides outside the small company he is starting to hate.

"I don't want to go back with your dead body or not even go back with you because you killed someone. I can't take the blame of not stopping you from murdering." Mu'adh is trying to rile him up so he can see the amount of his fury.

He knows a lot about his friend than he thought he had which is why he won't reply to that statement. Or won't reply with something that will escalate his wrath, his annoyance. This short woman walking with so much more confidence than him, she is not even married to him yet. He's agreed she is beautiful because he wouldn't have married her or thought about marrying her if she isn't. Her definition is trouble but he is also dangerous himself, they should just set the fire.

Marrying her isn't something that will make him have sleepless nights or keep him away from working with cool mind, rather, it will make him work better with cooler mind. If he doesn't get this block from her, she will only cause him more problems than the enormous ones he has in front of him. There are so much troubles waiting for him that he doesn't want to acknowledge, he needs to focus on making someone proud first and that step is by getting the entire block.

The block isn't much lavish but that exact place has something to do with someone he wants to make proud, beside the fact that the place is more profitable than anywhere in Chad. He is desperate to have that thing done which is why he is doing so many weird things he has never dreamt of. Forgetting about the marriage he was once talked about, the arrangement that was meant for him before he knows what marriage means.

That does not matter if he makes this person proud.

"Do as I say for once in your life." The exasperation is hidden not just anyone could hear it and it seems like Mu'adh hasn't either.

"As you see fit, Sir." He backed away then.

Sa'eed took the rental car keys from Mu'adh and ushered the overconfident woman to the car before she get herself hit in the road because of too much confidence. Her strides are enough to halt any other woman from approaching even some men that don't have guts. He didn't feel intimidated by her presence but annoyance because of the confidence she is not supposed to have as a woman. He is not against women with confidence but not when they cross him, he hates them with passion.

"And I thought you can't go through with this. Now tell me why you desperately want this block of ours?" She asked as soon as he started driving the car to the direction she's typed in his phone letting the GPS lead him to this so called mosque that she wants to get married in.

"You don't have to know that. Just get married to me since you only care about fulfilling your dare." There was no emotion from his voice making her grumble and look out the window at the city she might miss the worst memories she's created.

Few minutes later, they arrive at the mosque. They got out while he stare hard at the mosque he is about to get married in. How destiny is playing with his head is unbelievable! He is getting married willingly without going on strike like he would've done.

The mosque is coloured sapphire with white stones placed on it. There are white crystal tiles designed by the side of it while the towers are pointing deep into the sky though the mosque is not too tall. From where they are standing, the sun is blasting it's rays on the bronze glass placed at the highest tope of the tower making it glisten like some diamond. There are also gold sparks across the walls where the sun is blaring from, it looks beautiful.

"Now let's go and get married. Pretend to be excited at least." She laughed when he scowled, the sound making him more irritated.

They made their way inside the mosque through some white double doors and they find themselves in front of a smaller mosque inside the gigantic one. There is one person inside, he sat on a low golden brown stool with the holy Qur'an in his hands. He closed it and kept it aside when he heard their presence by the door. He looks old to hear such sounds from distance like that but Sa'eed won't question it since it is said that anyone who holds the Holy Book dear to him, Allah will never abandon Him.

The man has long white beard touching his upper chest some strands of the hairs are reddish brown which means he has dyed it with henna. His eyes are squinted in his circle glasses that is ruled by golden sticks to keep them on his face while the rim looks to not be there because of how neat it is. His skin is fair even with his old age while his head is tied in white cloth, Sa'eed could only wish to learn how to do that.

It is necessary for royals in his palace to be able to tie those things properly but him, he doesn't even know where to start or how to hold that piece of clothe. His guards do that for him since they always have it tied on their heads, it annoys him. It makes his head ache and feel like he has the trouble of the whole earth on his head.

The man gave them the permission to come in so they removed their shoes and kept them on the old wooden brown shoe rack just by their side. It has dust so Sa'eed is afraid his expensive shoes might get dirty but he really needs to get this done with so he placed them there with her feminine ones then walked inside with her.

"Al-salâm alek, Sheikh; Greetings, Sheikh!" She greeted in their mother language when she sat down on the pine rug that take up the entire mosque.

"Wa alek al-salâm; Greetings answered!" The Sheikh's voice was soothing so he heard her ranting out their problem to him in that rapid mother language of hers. He pitied the old man, he might not even understand a thing.

"We want to get married but our families are not letting us because of our difference in tribe and culture. We've been together for so long and he suddenly went bankrupt so they became more adamant of me not marrying him but we love each other so much. Sheikh, please get us married before this gets out of hand." She explained, her voice trembling while she tried her best to pull off an innocent look.

She had fake tears, literally!

"Subhan'Allah! Oh dear, I will surely get you married but you need to bring your waliys and he also needs to pay your dowry." The man looks concerned, Sa'eed pitied him but this needs to be done.

"We can get them now." She stood up immediately and left the mosque with her phone before he could even speak to her.

Well, he just ruined his life with his own hands and in his right state of mind!
