28~ Let's Welcome The Reptile.

BORNO EMIRATE COUNCIL.

Then a loud bang of a door hitting the wall and almost bringing it to it's knees resonated throughout the entire house rendering them motionless and puzzled. Who would hit the door like this with so much force? They all kept quite patiently waiting for whoever this person is to grace them with their presence and like Suhayr's mind gave her, her bull of a husband walked in with a stern look on his rather unfortunately gorgeous face.

Uh oh!

His mood changed terribly after learning that there really can't be divorce between him and his new bride, what is worst than that? He'd totally forgotten about that fact because he was desperate to have that school started but then, another problem had to pluck itself off. Just knowing he stays under the same roof as that arrogant woman is enough to ruin his whole mood so think about how it would feel knowing he will have to manage her like that and live with her forever. Is that even possible in his book? For he might kill her eventually due to frustration!

Well, he better get a psychiatric paper.

"Hey, man! I was waiting for you all day." Sulaiman stood up with a wide grin stretching the whole length of his rouge lips showing just how elated he is upon sighting his cousin.

"Hey, when did you arrive?" They gave each other that weird bro hug that has back hitting and all.

"Just earlier and was here with my new sister in-law the whole day. You didn't tell me you got married to such beauty." Sulaiman playfully nudged him with his shoulders making him grimace at the thought. Suhayr is no beauty, she is a demoness.

"Or rather call her by her name, demoness. It suits her better than the other one." He couldn't stop himself from saying it out loud and don't even care if Sulaiman doesn't know what they have between them is all fake for the sake of their greediness.

"Ouch, at least I am the devil's baby while you on the other hand is a Satan disguised in human form." Suhayr rolled out giving them a cheeky grin like she didn't just finish insulting him.

"Ungrateful bitch." He muttered beneath his breath trying to keep his anger at bay for the sake of her friend and his cousin. He would want to unleash his beast but that will do him no good in front of them.

"Sus, I think we should have early dinner together now. What do you say, Sulaiman?" Tasneem asked her accent really prominent when she said the Sulaiman, he stared hard trying to get if she is doing it intentionally or not, she wasn't.

"You are absolutely right! I need some juicy details from my cousin here." Sulaiman gave another wide grin feigning innocent as he touched Sa'eed's shoulder.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night. I should go and change from this horrible clothes you guys like wearing. I don't know how the marries women in my hometown even suffer with this. I feel like they intentionally ask me to get wrapped like some sidewalk meat for their entertainment." She complained pointing at the nude pink lapaya she is still wearing.

"You are no greater than that!" Sa'eed retorted and if not for Tasneem's arms drawing her back from him, she wanted to claw at his face with her so little fingers. The guy needs some serious lessons before he knows when or when not to open that gob of his.

"You should be fucking lucky I am not free in this stupid dress or you would have been on the ground begging for mercy, fucktard! And trust me, I will make you pay dearly for this..." She kept yelling till she was out of sight as she gets dragged away by Tasneem's stronger arms.

"Calm down now. Get dressed and come downstairs or I serve without you." Tasneem warned, then left the room alone without waiting for her to get dressed.

She kept grumbling underneath her breath whilst looking for something presentable to wear because Sulaiman is there. If it were only that tartar, she would have worn something that will clearly irritate him out of his wits. She is only holding back because of his cousin and if he continues to be an arsehole, she won't have any other option but to treat him like one. She has a lot of pranks to get him to succumb to his knees but she won't use that now, a little more push will be her undoing and from the looks of things, it is going to happen pretty soon.

She removed a blue flowery maxi dress featuring a regular sleeves and scoop neckline with a waist belt tied around her. She closed her hair in that Turkish muffler style and left the room wearing a flipflop she found outside. She took deep calming breaths so she won't strangle her husband in front of his cousin brother, it won't make any difference to her though. She will get more money from them after that happened so why should she care him?

Well except that she will fast sixty days and will have her hands tainted with his dirty blood, yuck!

"I thought you would serve before I arrive." She joked sitting around the other head of the table right opposite where Sa'eed is sitting.

"How could we? The woman of the house isn't here." Sulaiman let out another wide grin from beside Sa'eed while Tasneem sat by her right.

"You are a traitor!" She point the fork she is holding at Sulaiman who pouted his rouge lips and pull off his puppy dog eyes which he's used more times than she'd count within their hours spent together.

"What did I do now?" He inclined his head dropping his fork too and she could see Sa'eed perking up from the other end of table wanting to hear why she is calling his cousin a traitor.

"You sat down beside him when you were with me insulting him earlier for no reason. You didn't even like him at all earlier and now you are sitting next to him like some loyal dog in human form." She squinted her eyes, letting her bubblegum pink lips purse to the side in a grandmother manner.

"What?! I didn't insult him with you. Subhan'Allah, why are you putting me in the spotlight between you two?" Sulaiman was on the verge of laughing because Sa'eed looks like he is about to murder him with the lie his wife made.

"You didn't but you didn't support him either and instead, you back me up." She rolled her eyes picking up her fork to continue eating the pasta served by the maids standing quietly around like wallflowers.

"Well, that is because I want to find out what happened between you two and now that I know, I ain't supporting no one. You both are at fault so let me eat in peace now, thank you." He laughed at the alike couple with Tasneem because they are all featuring a scowl that makes them look really hideous.

Nah, they are too gorgeous to look grotesque.

They went silent, continuing to eat food quietly, that is before they heard the doorbell ringing throughout the room halting them all from pushing the food down their throats. Each one of them pause to see who is this person that graced them with his or her presence so late during dinner. This person is really hungry if he leaves whatever he is doing to come during dinner, everyone knows the time for dinner and that is the exact reason why this person is there, to eat what is served for them.

Shortly a woman walked through the way that leads to the dining room wearing a frock coat, lite heels and a baguette bag in her hand. Suhayr could only raise a brow at her choice of dressing since she don't feel that cold or maybe because the fireplace in the dining room has been lit up while the whole house is heated with some invisible heater. The woman is no doubt pretty and looks to know around the house like she wasn't there for the first time in her life.

Interesting, Suhayr thought.

She raise her head to look at the men in the room since they are the only ones that will know her. Sulaiman has this look of perplexity and puzzlement like he is trying to place who on earth let her into the house or what she is doing there in the first place. After that emotion wear off, he let fury cloud his eyes and if glares could kill a soul then this woman's would've been ten feet underground. It is foreign seeing Sulaiman glaring hotly at someone, refreshing too.

It only means the woman did something bad to him in the past. Could she be Fiddah? But Fiddah is said to be married and it's not like he dislikes her or anything so she is another woman. It looks quite interesting to her so she yawed her eyes to her tartar of a husband.

Sa'eed's eyes are set on the woman, making it look like they are the only two in the room and all of them have faded to the background. Something she never thought she would ever see even in her dreams is Sa'eed's eyes is what she is gazing at. Eye filled with loving devotion, fascination and desire. A small smile formed on her lips because it is really good seeing a man that is always aloof showing emotions, maybe she will use this woman as his weakness, who knows. His eyes say different story to what he has always been, good God, who the heck is this woman?

And seconds later, his emotions changed to that of nonchalance, aloof and detached from the world and he let his gaze shift to another thing, his food. She would have thought she dreamt about those emotions she saw in his eyes minutes ago if not for the way he gripped the fork tightly like it is about to snap. Suhayr is enjoying this more than she thought she would, this woman is really something to this royal folks and she'd be damned if she doesn't find out what is going on.

Woah, what is she missing there?

"Uh, welcome?" She inclined her head to the woman's side who immediately yaw her attention away from her husband with such longing that Suhayr almost gagged.

Why so much sweetness? She is not ready for diabetes at such young age of nineteen. If they are so into each other, why are they not together or something? Well, she wouldn't have had the chance of becoming wealthy so she should wait if she finish her business there, then they can make lots of babies.

"Thank you. Sorry for coming unannounced, I didn't know you have guests, Angel face." She was talking to Sa'eed from the looks of it and it didn't sit well with Suhayr since she is the one who welcomed her not him.

She was downright rude and Suhayr instantly marked her as one of the people she won't ever like. How could she ignore her like that and even have the right to talk to her husband like this in front of her? She will agree that there is nothing going on between her and Sa'eed and from the looks of things, nothing but hatred will sprout out from their union but to everyone, they eloped and got married so they are definitely in love. This woman should not know that they are not in love, she'd be damned.

She wouldn't have minded if the woman wasn't so invidious to her but now, she tightened her belt to make her suffer for doing that. She clearly loves Sa'eed huh? She will do everything in her power to not let her have him, she'd rather him get married to a woman that sells groundnuts outside the gates than this bitch. She fucking ignored her like she was some maid?! What the actual fuck?! Darn, Suhayr is really burning with anger and it is little amount of self restraint that has her sitting down quietly grinding on her teeth.

And she is calling him Angel face? What a joke! Granted, he has this innocent face that you would think he'd never touch a fly but it doesn't mean he is an Angel. His name should be Satan, maybe his father made the mistake of adding eed instead of tan, it would've suited him better. Now is not the time to think about him being an Angel or Satan, it doesn't matter anyway, the woman should not find out about their hatred for each other now. She needs to be back in her place.

Time to have fun with them both!

"Don't mind me interrupting, but what is Angel face exactly?" Suhayr tilted her head in a way that says she looks interested in whatever it is they are talking about.

"Oh, that is his name. Who are you?" The woman yawed her attention back to her like she is just noticing her.

"You don't know?" Suhayr widened her mouth then pouted in mockery before standing up from where she is and rounding to where Sa'eed sat, Sulaiman and Tasneem watching with great interest.

"No, should I?" The woman taunted folding her arms underneath her hefty looking bosom that looks twice the size of Suhayr even though she knew she is not in the flat category.

"Oh, you should since you will be seeing me around here all the time. I'm the Angel face's wife but I call him douche. The name is Suhayr Imraan Khalid." Suhayr move her hand forward for her to shake which she did reluctantly while looking at Suhayr with calculative eyes like she is thinking of ways to strike her.

"You got married?" Najaah asked Sa'eed who hasn't uttered a word but groaned lowly when Suhayr stood behind his chair, her soft hands touching his tensed shoulders.

He has been so tired and tensed the whole day, he could feel his muscles relaxing as she massage them gently, unknotting the knots tied there. The way her hands move around his shoulder even though she meant to do it in a wicked way, he didn't feel any extra pressure. He can't remember when was the last time he had any of his body parts massaged, it happened so long ago when his younger sister was fine free of any disease. Having his wife's hands even though all he wants to do is throttle her, he enjoyed what she is doing.

"I'm I going to lie about marriage? I am married to him, you also know that so let's drop the charade, hmm?" Suhayr is trying to act nice but Najaah's face immediately yaw to that of surprise like she didn't expect that from her.

Ha, take that bitch!

"I seriously didn't know. I thought you didn't move on just like me here but I guess I was wrong. You moved on so easily." Her eyes are now filled with crocodile tears which everyone could see except Sa'eed whose heart immediately lurched and all the massage went through thin air.

"And you are?" Suhayr raise a brow, she has been wanting to ask the question but stopped so she could gouge out what she is to him and now is the time for the main cause.

"I am Naja'atu Haris Dantati, his ex-wife." She sounded so smug that Suhayr wanted to wipe off all sort of happiness across her face.

Suhayr knew there is something huge between the woman and her husband but she didn't know it was this enormous that they are divorced. Do they also have tons of beautiful kids she don't know of or something along that? Really, she don't see the reason why they are divorced even though there is this maladroit tension on their heads as they are in the same room. Their story must be something interesting but she is hundred percent sure he won't tell her and Sulaiman would say it is not his place to tell while the Naja'atu won't say a thing if it is her fault or lie to her.

"Oh right, he told me about you once I think. You were the woman he divorced sometime ago, huh? It is about cheat or something like that, right?" Suhayr is walking on a thin ice, she could see everyone's shoulder tensing in the room because she only guessed but she won't give up soon.

Now the fun begins, she hopes to find out what happens!
