SIXTY SEVEN

I sat in the clinic waiting for my name to get called in. I was getting my legs checked out, checking to see they were doing okay and if I'm really able to walk. It's not that it's hard, over time it has gotten easier but it does start getting difficult once I walk for a long time.

Like right now I felt sore, like I was in pain because of how much I've walked and the times I've went out to jog. Maybe I shouldn't have tried jogging though it does get boring sitting around in my home doing nothing. When I lived with Touya I'd go out to the back to cool off and swim in the pool if I were to get bored.

But my fathers place didn't have that, so instead of swimming I've come up with the idea to replace it with jogging. But now I see why I was told not to give it a try until I've fully recovered.

"Izuku Midoriya?" The doctor called out as he peeled out from the door showing half of his body. He was tall and skinny, long black hair and bristles facial hair. His eyes were dark with eye bags under them.

I got up from my seat and slowly walked over to him "you okay there? Where's your wheel chair?" He asked calmly walking over to me and taking my arm helping me walk. "Oh well I figured I might not need it, it's not like I can't walk at all". "I understand but you shouldn't do things like this, you never know if it'll effect you more"

I nodded with a smile as he lead me to a room where I sat down. "Alright, tell me Midoriya how do you feel?" He asked taking a seat on the short stool "well, I can definitely walk now my legs feel better but I might have worked them a bit too much"

"What makes you say that?" He asked looking up at me tiredly as he rubbed his chin with his fingers, I stared noticing the silver ring he had wrapped around his finger, looks like he's married. I looked over to his name tag that read "Aizawa" and chuckled "well I've started doing morning jogs, I'd run at an easy pace for a mile which slowly increased into two miles which I think might have affected me"

He looked at me as if what I said had make no sense. I was about to speak until he pushed himself away from me with the wheels the stall had. "You shouldn't have done that, if you wanted to start running then you should've came to me to see if you were ready for that next step".

"Your legs are in pain because of this sudden movement you've been doing daily now, it's new to it. So in any case take a break, and I think it's time we replace the wheel chair with these" he said getting walking off until he returned with crutches. I looked at them, then back at him and smiled awkwardly. "Do I really need them?"

"You're questioning me? I know it sounds silly to use them when you have no broken bones, but it's to help your legs adjust. You'll be using them for 3 weeks, maybe even less if you improve quickly" "would you like me to teach you how to use them?"

"Crutches now? What happened to your wheel chair?" Touya asked as I entered the place. "I replaced them with these, by the way how was it?" I asked taking a seat on the couch where I watched him sigh making his way towards me.
He laid down resting his head on my lap while rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"I don't think they're gonna accept me, my records are horrible for college" he mumbled. Touya has been trying to continue school as he didn't want to be a stay at home husband. In fact he wants the roles to be reversed, he wants to be the one providing for the two of us so that would mean he'd need a decent job.

Surprisingly he picked criminal law and some other subjects similar. But his history was giving him a hard time getting in. "They laughed at me and said how can a gangster try to be a cop? I mean I guess it does sound weird..." I smiled down at him leaning in to peck his lips as I brushed back his hair.

"Don't worry, maybe you'll get your chance in. If that's what you really want to do then they can't stop you" . He stayed silent until he got up, "come on" "where to?" I asked "uh, somewhere, trust me you won't hate it...maybe only a little"

I looked at him confused as I giggled getting up "come on tell me, where do you want to take me?" "I want to fix a problem for you" "a problem?" He looked down as his hand touched my lower stomach lifting my shirt up  to reveal the tattoo I still had on me. "I want to cover it up for you, I still got my shop out there"

His finger rubbed against my stomachs skin until he pulled his hand away looking back at me. I stared at him thinking about his idea. It's not that I don't want to cover it, I'm just a bit scared of needles. I might have ptsd from when overhaul had tatted my stomach, I remember it being such a painful hour.

I smiled at him and kissed his lips gently before pulling away still holding my smile as I softly spoke out to him.

"Okay, let's go then"
