Chapter 13 : The Cursed Toilets

Lisa woke up the next morning with her mouth agape, exhausted and particularly ashamed of what had happened the day before. Especially since she emerged with her head against Satan's chest, to realize that she had drooled on him in the least romantic way possible.

By all the saints! It was as if the "on-off" switch had been flipped on her thoughts last night to release a slightly more animalistic woman who had no shame in the pleasure she was taking. Except that when she returned to normal, she would have wanted to disappear on the spot. To escape from Satan who, at once, knew that she was awake.

-Hello, my little wife, he said in a hoarse, masculine voice.

With her head still on his chest, she refused to move.

-Don't play dead. You know, you're very beautiful when you come.

A groan of shame. His own. This lout of Satan had the nerve to burst out laughing.

-Has this proved to you that I find you desirable, my wife?

-Uh... and... you?

For any answer, he took her hand and put it on his crotch. After what they had done the night before, she thought that a scream of rage would have been rather unwelcome. Nevertheless, she froze when she felt something particularly hard under her boxers and... quite... big. And long.

She withdrew her hand as if it were burning, which again triggered her husband's laughter.

-I can be very patient, Lisa. First you, and then me... We'll see later.

More in shape than the other days, because of their carnal proximity, he was absent for the time of his preparation for high school. The head full of retrospective feelings, Lisa had the impression to have passed a stage in her life. However, the sexual intercourse had not been... Until the end. Well, for him. For her, it had. It had still ended in...

-Lisa! Is everything okay!?

Miriam. Oh, she was already in front of the school gate. Cerberus, who escorted her every morning while the other students looked on in amusement, was celebrating her friend.

-Oh uh... Yes, she stammered, turning tomato red. Everything is fine.

The high school girl inspected her, before smirking, the demonic Chihuahua in her arms.

-Have you reconciled with Satan?

Ah, yes. The fight in the locker room. It seemed so far away!

-Uh... Yes.

-Not just a little, it seems!

-Miriam! Finally!

-Are you still a virgin? her friend breathed, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

-I... Technically, yes, she admitted, not sure why.

The student recoiled.

-Wait, you mean... You started directly from another path?

Another way? She looked at her without understanding, before realizing.

-No! What's it to you anyway?

-I'm just your friend, she said with a small smile. Come on! We have to get ready for the class trip.

Oh. With all the fuss, she had completely forgotten about one of the only field trips of the year. They were supposed to go to the city's natural history museum, for a day of study on minerals and other natural evolutionary topics. She couldn't see Satan taking an interest in this when he had problems with destructive dragons and a psychopathic brother. Did he have a phone, by the way? If she could, she would have texted him to tell him not to waste his time.

-Hello! exclaimed the warmly masculine tone of her husband.

She smiled despite herself as she turned to him. Slightly smaller as a human teenager, he was still very handsome. How could a man... well, a demon like him be interested in her? Finally, she should thank her father for selling her... Wait, what was she thinking?

He had said that in a year, if she wished, they would separate.

-Hello, she said, welcoming his very chaste kiss with a slight blush to her cheeks.

She quickly explained the field trip. If Miriam was surprised by his proposal not to go, she said nothing. Satan shook his head.

-Outside the walls of this school, it's better that I'm with you, Lisa. I've made arrangements for you not to be inconvenienced here, but outside there are more risks.

-Risks of what? asked Miriam.

They both looked at her. They had forgotten her.

-Risks for the morons to believe her free, he decreed while hugging his wife with a big possessive air.

She found herself in the bus, between the window and Satan during the whole trip. With the morning traffic, she even fell asleep on his shoulder, under the envious look of the three bitches. What they all didn't know, however, was the presence of a demonic Chihuahua in her backpack. Her husband had insisted: better two safeties than one.

The geological sections and the old stones were particularly instructive, but Lisa found it difficult to concentrate. With her hand lodged in Satan's, she could feel his intense heat. She had a hard time focusing on anything other than her skin on his.

Last night was... um...

Unable to think about it without blushing, she also remembered her palm on her hard penis...

-I... I have to go to the bathroom, she gurgled, spotting the symbol as a lifeline.

Pushing the door, in this unique place where Satan Daemon couldn't follow her, she longed for a few minutes of peace away from the tumult of the school trip and her thoughts. Unfortunately, fate the joker decided otherwise.

As soon as she crossed the threshold, she found herself in front of a gigantic eye, fortunately closed. The eyelids with tiny scales quivered from time to time, as if in a restless dream.

Lisa didn't need to see a titanic body move with a slight breath, the colossal wings folded on the back of the beast. She knew it, she was facing a dragon, a sleeping dragon to be precise.

But how on earth did she end up in front of this huge head, instead of in the museum's toilets?

-I don't recommend shouting, human.

Fortunately for her, since the entry of her husband in her life, she was used to unexpected appearances and strange transfers. Leaning against one of the legs of the disproportionate reptile, Lucifer watched her with his red eyes. Obviously, he had abandoned his human appearance from the last time. His skin was as red as his brother's, streaked with vile blackish veins. Two dark horns were stuck on his skull, small and really sharp. Like a baby's. For a moment, she wondered where this thought came from. Then she said to herself that a demon could not be born with formed horns. She had to think about the mother who was giving birth. Some laws of nature were universal. No?

In short.

She was facing Lucifer, which meant she was in trouble.

-What's up? she said without thinking.

The demon frowned.

-Aren't you afraid, human?

She considered the dragon, then Lucifer.

-I'm not stupid. Of course, I'm scared.

Nevertheless, her own stoicism surprised her. Was she anesthetized by all the weirdness of the past week? It wasn't impossible. But mostly she was thinking about one thing: Cerberus stashed in her backpack.

Last she heard, the dog was sleeping on its back, all four paws up in the bottom of the completely emptied bag. Nevertheless, she didn't see how a giant three-headed Chihuahua could help her against a dragon of several tons.

-You're doing the right thing, human, Lucifer hissed as he moved toward her with a graceful gait. I want you to give me your soul.

On his last sentence, he had spread wings blacker than the night. Lisa looked at him in awe.

-You've been watching too many movies, man. Your direction is not bad, but it's way too cliché.

He stopped, stunned.

-Sorry?

-Well, I am your brother's wife. I know that my beloved sire sold me to you, O great psychopath, but I am no longer free.

-I don't care. He didn't put his mark on you!

Lisa winced, while taking a step back. In doing so, she almost uncovered herself against the tip of the dragon's tail. Oh oh... That alone was higher than her.

-And what do you want to do, eh? she taunted him, putting her fists on her hips, while sliding the straps of her bag as if by mistake. Rape me? Kill me? Oh, baby... Satan wouldn't stand for me being touched! You won't live long.

Lucifer laughed a hard, cruel laugh. So cold that a shiver of terror ran down her back.

-You think he loves you? He's a demon, little human... He doesn't love you, and never will.

If these words hurt her inside, she laughed at the rude man.

-Love me? Ah, you're funny! You don't need that to not like it when someone touches your favorite toy. So, do you really want to be killed? Ah, but if I'm not mistaken, Satan has already slaughtered you, hasn't he? Do you really think that provoking him again is a good idea? Do you care about your head? On your shoulders, I mean. Because...

-Silence! he hissed, finding himself in front of her in the blink of an eye to place his hand over her mouth.

His long fingers were cold, icy like those of death. Horrified, she could not hold back a shiver of pure terror at his touch. This seemed to please her, for a great smile spread across her red face veined with black. Her teeth were coal black, not from dirt, but from birth color. But yuck anyway.

The advantage? He was too close to see that she was passing her bag in her hands, behind her back. Where was that damn zipper!?

-Your soul is mine. As for your body...

He slipped his free hand between her breasts, with an appreciative laugh.

-I'll use it later.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her sternum. Squinting downward in spite of Lucifer's grip, she saw with horror his forearm plunged into her chest. This simple vision could have made her turn away, if she had not realized that the pain was not at all in accordance with the extent of the problem. It was a mosquito bite compared to having, without anesthesia, an arm in her chest. What the hell was he doing? He seemed to want to grab hold of something inside her, but it was as if he was encountering a void. Even she perceived it.

-Has he already taken your soul? Lucifer breathed, visibly annoyed.

I beg your pardon? Her soul was not in its place? How was she standing, then!? Wait, who had it, if not her!? Alert! She had lost something important there!

-Well, I'll see about that later, said the other, as if it didn't matter.

Except that for her, it was. First, she discovered that the concept of a soul was true. Then she learned that she had lost hers somewhere! This was not good at all!

-I'll just rape you for now.

Neither one nor two, she gave a violent blow of head to the demon. Caught off guard, he let go of her, eyes wide open... Before pushing an expletive when he saw her open her mouth wide, to push a shrill scream to wake the dead.

Or the titanic dragons.

The reaction was not long in coming!

The gigantic eye opened, its black slit pupil on a molten gold background glaring at the two insects daring to break its rest. He was not happy at all, as the smoke came out of his nostrils, his mouth opened to hundreds of fangs as big as houses...

Disappearing in a flurry of curses, Lucifer left her alone to face the dragon, whose head was already rising from the ground. Its tail snaked out from behind her, breaking through pillars she hadn't seen yet. She didn't know exactly where she was, but like any good action movie, she assumed the whole structure would fall on her!

Only one solution: she drew her Chihuahua.

Half asleep, Cerberus opened his eyes to a disgruntled dragon. With a slight squeak, his body stiffened in surprise. Lisa congratulated herself on being attached to his collar. For the next second, he was growing to an enormous size!

-Get us out of here! she shouted. And you get a treat!

A triple "woof" came to her, as she found herself on the back of a gigantic three-headed Chihuahua. It took off on all fours, at a speed that made the wind whistle in her ears.

Clinging to the pink glitter collar offered by Lilith, Lisa pressed herself against the coat of the demon dog. She thought she was in an action scene! Jumping on the dragon's tail, Cerberus ran the length of it as the reptile opened its mouth wide with a fiery gasp.

Leaping onto a half-ruined upper floor, he narrowly avoided the jet of flames. However, the latter carried away all the load-bearing walls of the floor on which they landed. He took off on all fours, speeding up the collapse of the floor, to fly away in a cloud of dust. Behind them, the dragon let out a terrifying roar.

Then there was the sound of shattering rock.

Looking behind her, Lisa discovered the huge head that was sinking into the floors, chasing them. This wasn't like in video games, where if you got out of the bad guy's range, he'd stop chasing you to inflict damage! Now he'd chase them to the ends of the earth and gobble them up!

Close to a state of panic, she crossed her fingers that Cerberus would be quick enough...

Suddenly, they appeared in the open air. She would have been relieved to see the three fiery suns of Satan's world, if she had not seen a city nearby. No... If the dragon went there, then...

A figure appeared in front of his canine nag, with red wings, horns... and a look harder than rock.

-Good, my dog, said Satan, barely glancing at his wife. Take her to the city.

What? They passed by him at a run. Reaching out her hand to him, she wanted to catch him as he passed. But all her husband's attention was turned to the mountain from which she had just emerged. And from where the monstrous head of the dragon sprang up. Like an all-too-real Godzilla, it pushed out the rest of its body. Satan was a fly on the wall!

A fly that, however, immediately deployed a magical shield.

She saw red, luminous inscriptions stretching across the sky in front of her. Pentacles, writings, began to turn on themselves, forming a protective barrier on which the dragon crashed.

Stunned, she had to start looking ahead again when a turn by Cerberus to avoid a piece of the mountain that had fallen in front of them nearly knocked her off her feet.

There were no ramparts in the city. On the other hand, they would be useless against the dragon.

Yet a whole army was posted in a thin line around the first houses. Cerberus charged at them, while a roar shook the entire city, shaking Lisa to her core.

Then the dog shrinks all at once, until she finds herself among the soldiers... In front of Lilith.

-I'm glad to see you alive, girl, said the beautiful demoness, still wearing her kimono. Get behind us, please.

-But, I...

-Rwine!

The butler appeared at once, to indicate to the student to go further. Stunned, she saw soldiers closing in around her, in close protection.

-Deploy the shield! thundered the clear, sensual voice of Satan's sister.

The soldiers were mostly magicians, or she didn't know what. It made sense in a world where skeletons trembled with fear at what was coming down on the city. At Lilith's command, chanting began, as a protective blue barrier, similar to her husband's, shielded the city.

The last bastion against the fury of a dragon.

A dragon that she had awakened.

Guiltily, she looked around. Citizens were standing right behind the last soldiers. Children trembled with fear. Mothers looked at the dragon as if it were death itself. Fathers sought the courage to protect them when the time came.

With a heavy heart, Lisa considered the multitude of guards around her.

-Rwine, I want them to go and protect the population.

The butler looked down at her, as if he had misheard. The soldiers also gave her surprised glances.

-But you are human, my queen.

-There are children. They need protection more than I do. And then I have Cerberus.

Even though, exhausted, the dog was panting loudly in his arms.

-Lilith...

-I am the queen, and I order you to protect the people, she said, glaring at Rwine. Children first!

A slow smile spread across the butler's lips. Strangely, he seemed pleased with his unpleasant behavior.

-Did you hear your sovereign? Ensure the protection of the population!

This was a good thing, because even so, shards of rock rained down on the city. The soldiers managed to pulverize them all before they hit the ground, saving the lives of hundreds. Relieved, alone in the midst of the hostilities, Lisa looked to see if Cerberus was okay. He was just very tired.

-The King!

Exclamations. Cheers. Looking up, she saw the Demon King being thrown against the barrier of Lilith and her men. Well, not quite. Blown away by the dragon, he flipped over in the air, to lean on the protective shield... And back at the titanic monster.

Hearing the cheers of the people, zombies, demons, skeletons and other things she couldn't identify, she felt her heart swell. Everyone believed in him. In their ruler.

In that moment, she realized that her husband was really the King of the Demons.

A being capable of confronting a titanic dragon, and to stick such a blow with its axe that its head flew against the mountain. Far from stopping there, Satan went back to the charge. Another blow held the monster down. Then he imprisoned it under a chain of spells. This triggered the fury of his captive. He rushed against the multiple layers of blazing red magic, fighting with all his might to regain his freedom.

-It's ours! said Lilith. We have to help him to sleep!

Leaving the city's bluish protection to fade, all the soldiers flew to their king, to support him. To help put the scaly titan to sleep. Soon, the dragon came to rest. And in the next ten minutes, ten elite mages remained, charged with keeping him in a deep sleep, waiting for the spell-engraved building to be rebuilt around him.

All the citizens of the neighboring town volunteered to build it as quickly as possible, at the request of their sovereign protector.

Satan was their king, and they worshipped him.

But in the meantime, she had to go back to her school trip. Otherwise, at this rate, there would be an abduction alert in the city! Which wouldn't be entirely untrue, actually.
