"CAUSE I RESIGNED..!!! SIMPLE...!!!" I replied smilingly... but to my horror..

"you did what???" he left me in a shock.. "resigned.." I muttered, unable to understand his reaction... he jerked me up... "who the hell asked you to resign..???" he yelled at the top most pitch... and I was dumbfound.. "what are you saying Mayu..??? I am here to take care of you.." I stammered... "I DON'T NEED A BLOODY CARE TAKER.." his voice made me shiver... why is he behaving like this..??? did I do anything wrong??? "what the heck you think of yourself Hiya Mukherjee..??? who asked you to take such a decision..???" he yelled again... what.. 'Hiya Mukherjee'..!!! my eyes watered up... I gulped every word I wanted to say... but... "I am your wife, its my duty to take care of you.." I ran to the kitchen and latched it from inside.!! And I broke down..!!!

I had lost the count of time how long I was inside. My tears had dried long back. My ears fell deaf to the banging of the door...!!! I didn't reply obviously..!!!  I kept cooking and tried to think the valid reason behind his outburst..!! but couldn't find any...

Suddenly a fear stuck me..!!! Doesn't he want me to stay with him??? But he said he loves me.. then what??? Why?? How come...??? no no.. I cant think straight now...but I have to know the reason... the bangings have stopped.. his pleads to open the door have stopped. He must have went to bedroom..!!

I served the supper at the dining table and went to call Mayu.. well.. I had decided I will behave absolutely normal as if nothing really happened in the past few hours. Yes.. surely I had to talk to him for his misbehaviour... but after dinner... for this man was too stubborn.. May be he wouldn't eat even... ughhhh...!! disgusting..!!!

"Mayu... dinner is ready..." I chipped as I entered our room...only to...

"Mayu...." I screamed and ran to him.. he was trying to break the plaster with a little hammer.. "what the... are you nuts Mayukh.??" I howled snatching the hammer from his hand.. and then... thasshh.... I slapped him..!!! yes... seeing him like this I couldn't help being impulsive... "Hiyu..." his heavy voice came... I looked at him... his eyes were red..!!!! those same red..!!! that redness I had witnessed years back...!!! I was shocked...

"what's wrong with you???" I asked hugging him. My anger had already melted seeing him in this vulnerable state..!!! "I hurt you.. you cried for me..!!!" his voice trailed off with the last words... what???? Is he insane..??? once he shouts at me... makes me cry, next moment he hurts himself for this..!!! why does he always give mixed signals...!!!! I forcefully broke the hug.. and asked him the same...

"I can't take it... you.. you... your career getting spoilt...!!!" he was stammering... "that too for me... Hiya... hiya..." his hiccups stopped him... leaving me in a daze....
