Mayukh nothing can happen to you... nothing.... I kept chanting....

After 3 hours I found myself in City Hospital, Bangalore with baba and mamoni... I don't know how I passed these 3 hours. But I was yet in a daze...

The sight froze my senses..!!! Mayukh was lying on ICU bed his eyes closed. With bandages all over his head, forearms and a plaster in leg..!!! the saline was dripping and those needle piercing the back of his palms, arms.... the bandage had turned red due to his blood..the medical machines beeping all around!!! Mamoni almost collapsed seeing her son like this..!!! we somehow made her sit outside the ICU. My condition was no better..!!! the doctor came and we rushed..!!!!

"he has been in the exact site of the blast. That's why  he has been injured the most..!!! he has faced a 'tertiary injury' due to the blast. That is he had met a fracture in the shin bone, bruised forearms and..." the doctor stopped abruptly... "and what doctor???" I almost yelled...!!! " Coup contrecoup injury" he declared. But we looked at him in confusion..!!! "well... he has passed a severe brain trauma for the brain has collided with the inside surface of the skull.... may be he crushed badly with some wall or may be the floor, his skull was fixed, but the brain inside got shaken vigorously.." the doctor completed, but what he said was enough to put our senses to toss..!!! my eyes welled up... baba too was trembling...!!! but mamoni... she gave a shriek.. and collapsed..!!! shit..!!! "mamoni"... I screamed... Immediately the doctor called the nursed and we made her lie on the stretcher.. was taken to general ward..!! "Hiyu.. you stay here with Mayukh.. I am taking your mother there.." baba yelled rushing out of the ICU... but.. I too ran after him..!!! afterall.. Mayukh was treatment now.. but mamoni... no I can't leave her like this...

"she just fainted hearing her son's news... I have injected medicines.. she will wake up soon.. don't worry..." chipped the doctor... baba's face had turned a pale white, with his son in the ICU and wife fainted...!!! I walked to the doctor... "Doctor... that brain trauma thing... I mean... Mayukh will be fine na??? My voice trailed off with the last words..!! actually I was frightened about the answer the doctor would give... please god.. don't punish me so much.. please make Mayukh fit and fine.. nothing must happen to him...you exchange his health with me, but please save him..!! I promise I will love him, I will never complain about his taunts..!!! I prayed for the nth time... "well... he will soon be fine!!! Just the medications have to done properly and on time... in fact, once he comes to his senses we will release him.." the doctor smiled... "there is nothing to fear na??" I ask to convince myself more...

"absolutely no fear, my dear,,, just take care of him and make sure he doesn't stress much. For more the stress, more the trauma will have its effects... and if you want him to walk properly soon, don't let him walk before a month.." the doctor smiled and left... I sighed...thank you god.. thank you so much... I promise I will take complete care of him...

Mamoni and baba were in his cabin, whereas, I was mailing a few things to my boss..!!! I had come without informing anyone..!!! I dragged myself inside the cabin..!!! and there was he.. lying senseless... with that serene expression..!!! I was missing his taunts.. his insults.. his touch all of a sudden... Mayukh.. please baby.. wake up... see I will never fight with you, I will love you too.... its too much now wake up... I held his palm as tightly as I could...!!!
