Nandini tried to push him but he was abundant to leave her. He held her more close more tightly after failing Nth time she hugged him. She was at peace after listening to his heart beat. That heart which only beats for her.

He picked her up bridal style and make way out of bathroom. He made her sit on the couch and broke the hug. He saw she has hurted her, red marks were around her arms and neck.

Because of hot water her skin was burning, buries had settle themselves on her body. He just wanted to rip that harshad's head out of his body, for giving his life such a deep scare.

Harshad has left a deep scare on her body as well as on her soul. He control all his emotions and went towards his wardrobe and removed her clothes. He made her wear the clothes but she was too numb to react.

He was sitting there her eyes red wide open but she was sitting like a lifeless body. A body without life, he remembered how full of energy she was her pranks, her carefree laugh, her nature her bold nature. Every single thing was haunting him. he somehow blamed himself for such condition of her.

He saw scars and buries all over her body he applied ointment on the buries she hissed in pain. Buries were on nandini body but manik was having pain. He had never cared about anyone in his life except his family but nandini was someone different.

She was his soulmate, his better half, his heart beat, the reason behind his living. She was the most important part of his life and today his life is sitting like a lifeless body. He carried her to the bed she snuggle more into him.

She slept cuddling him but he was awake wide awake weeping and blaming himself for nandini's condition. His love was having pain. He every now then kissed her forehead and cuddle her more, hugging her more tight than before as if he will release her from his embrace and she will get vanished.

It was passed midnight manik was also asleep. Nandini was enchanting something which broke manik's sleep. He got up and saw a scared nandini and murmuring something which broke his heart.

"Leave me... Please"

"Manik will save me"

"Manik won't leave you"

"Let me goo... Please"

Nandini was enchanting these lines. manik woke her up and she got up with a jerk.

Manik: jaan look am here kuch nhi hua baby

Nandini: maa..maanik... Harshad

Manik: nandini it was just a nightmare aur kuch nhi

Nandini: woh wapis nhi aayega na

Manik: kabhi nhi woh tumse milo koso dur hoga ab

Nandini hugged manik tightly he replicated with equal force.

Nandini: manik tum mujse pyaar karte hona

Manik: khud se bhi zyada

Nandini: muje chod kar nhi jaoge na

Manik: apni aakhri saas tak pyaar karuga

Nandini: I love you manik

Manik: i love you too nandini so jao

Both lied down but sleep was far.

Nandini: manik

Manik: haa bolo (caressing her hair)

Nandini: sing for me

Manik: sure.. You wait I'll bring the guitar

Manik brought the guitar from the cupboard and started playing

Saawali si raat ho, khamoshi ka saath ho

(Nandini was keenly listening to manik without blinking her eyes feeling every word what he said)

Neend jab ho laapata, udasiyaan zara hata
Khwabon ki razaai mein, raat ho teri meri

(He says when you don't feel like sleeping then dream about me while clutching your blanket)

hmmm mmm...

(He offered her his hand and she readily accepted it and both went towards the balcony)

Jhilmil taaron si aankhein teri
Khare khare paani ki jheelein bhare
Hardam yun hi tu hansti rahe
Har pal hai dil mein khwahishein
Khamoshi ki loriyaan sun toh raat so gayi

(Manik signalled her to look at stars and the stars were glowing the sky was looking as ever. The stars were the witness of their love. The stars were showering their blessing to the couple. The night sky was glowing and darkness was left behind with the light of stars. Nandini smiled looking at stars)

Saawali si raat ho Khamoshi ka saath ho

(Manik smiled after the incident first time nandini smiled he smiled seeing her smiling. For some minutes the pain was gone it was far away from their life. There was just him his life and their happiness)

Barfi ke tukde sa, chanda dekho aadha hai
Dheere dheere chakhna zara
hmm Hansne rulane ka aadha-pauna vaada hai
Kankhi se takna zara

(Manik made faces and she laughed looking at the ugly manik. Today manik wasn't making a kid smile but trying to bring the kid back in nandini. He danced like a kid and made cartoon faces and started tickling her)

Ye jo lamhe hain lamhon ki behti nadi mein
Haan bheeg loon, haan bheeg loon
Ye jo aankhen hain aankhon ki gumsum zubaan ko
Main seekh loon, haan seekh loon
Ankahee si guftagu, ansuni si justajoo
Bin kahe, bin sune, apni baat ho gayi

(Nandini laughed like a kid after the teasing session manik took nandini in his embrace tightly and she also hugged him tightly feeling each others presence they were at peace. Nandini kissed his heart and he kissed her forehead)

(Feeling at peace nandini slept in his arms. She felt protected in his arms he held her protectively and picked up bridal style and lied down on the bed. She snuggle into him more and he hugged her more tightly. He covered both with the duvet and slept after taking blessings from the stars and moon. The night was one of the most dreadful but at the end a peaceful night..
