Tina grinned at the sight of her three year old daughter sitting in front of the grandfather clock, watching the hands tick. "What are you waiting for?" Tina asked. "Daddy always comes home from wowk when the big hand is pointed at the twewve and the wittle hand is pointed at five," Dawn replied, her gaze never leaving the clock. Tina couldn't help but chuckle to herself. "Honey, that's not for another half an hour," she said gently. "But Daddy pwomised he wouwd take me down into the case when he got home!" Dawn pouted, attempting to give the grandfather clock an impatient kick, as if the clock would speed up if she kicked hard enough. "Kicking that clock won't make him come home any faster,"Tina said, lifting her daughter up in her arms. "Don't you ever miss Daddy when he's at wowk?" Dawn asked. "Of course I do.I miss him whenever he's gone. But if your not careful, we'll have to get a new clock, and Daddy wouldn't be very happy about that," Tina replied, carrying her into the kitchen.

Dawn was beautiful. Long, black curls that tumbled down to her shoulders, her eyes changing colors exactly like Newt's did, soft, rosy cheeks.

"I want butterbeew!" Dawn exclaimed. 

"May I have-" 

"May I have butterbeew?" 

"Not until your father comes home."

"But I asked nicewy!"

"Your father will be more than happy to share butter beer with you in his case."

Dawn pouted, returning to the living room to stare at the clock.

"Daddy's home!"

Dawn ran towards Newt, who put down his case to sweep her up in a large hug. Dawn kissed his cheek before scrambling down. "You pwomised!" Dawn said,pointing to his case. "Give him a chance to catch his breath," Tina replied. Newt wrapped his arms around her and kissed her. Tina wished the kiss could last longer, but Dawn shrieked,"I want to go in the case NOW!" 

"May I go-"

"May I go in the case?"

"Yes," Newt replied, carrying it inside to open it and climb down. Dawn followed, bouncing down the stairs excitedly. "I'll be down soon!" Tina called, going to the kitchen to make dinner.

When Tina came down, Dawn was on Newt's back, her legs wrapped around his waist, her hands around his shoulders. "Be a Thundewbird, Daddy!" she shouted, joy alighting her face. Newt gave an animalistic shriek, running around the case, flapping his arms like wings. Tina burst out laughing, which caused Newt to blush. Dawn climbed down, her eyes dancing when she saw the food. She ran into the shed to eat. Tina was still laughing. She wrapped her amrs around Newt, and he kissed her gently. "I love you," he whispered. "I love you more," Tina replied. "Not possible," Newt laughed, walking off to the shed, his fingers intertwined with Tina's.
