Muzans POV
It's been a couple days since Michikatsu turned. We have been training his body to get him up to date with it. The new eyes and apparent split-vision makes it hard to concentrate but I think it will benefit him in future battles, make him stronger and have the upper hand of vision.
We are currently on a rooftop, overlooking the night life of the town. Rumour spreads quickly in small towns.
Rumour has it, a six-eyed demon lurks around the Samurai's hut, waiting for the Samurai to return.
What backs up this theory is that the presumed 'samurai' has gone missing, not coming into town anymore.
And what makes it comical, is that the six eyed demon is said samurai.
I chuckled to myself, earning a confused glance from my co-worker.
"Nothing. Have you scoped out a target yet?" I asked
He nodded, pointing down.
He was quieter than ever. Pre demonification, he would be chatting to me with ease. Now, he was cautious with words.
I don't blame him, at this point my cells own him, any slip up will cause him to perish.
"Two people?"
"They are secluded and easy to catch" He said.
His voice somehow got deeper, more raspy when he turned. And I am still not used to it, a flush of pink illuminated my pale cheeks.
"Go on then, and bring them back to the cabin. I'll clear a space. Oh, and if you get caught, just call my name and I'll be here and kill 'em all. Call it a banquet." I said and jumped away.
As I got to the cabin, I moved the table out the way and the carpet, showing off the blood-stained floor. There was no use in cleaning it, as we ate once a week.
I'm proudly surprised that no Samurai or Demon Hunter has caught on yet.

Michikatsu POV
[ WARNING!!! GORE!!! It even made me feel a bit queasy sorry! ]
I eyed the bystanders for a bit. A male and female. She was clearly uncomfortable, and I felt sympathetic.
The man had dragged her into an alleyway, and started to abuse his masculinity and force himself onto her.
I got snippets of flashbacks, of my mother.
I remember as a child, Yoriichi would cling to her, with no word.
My father used to force himself onto Mother, and after finding out from the doctor her uterus was torn and she was infertile, due to having twins, he got angry and hit her. My brother would be in the fire-zone but I would step in and help him.
Why did he have to change?
It was unfair.
Anyway, I watched the pair. She was starting to wail and catch attention.
I jumped down into the shadows behind them. I walked towards them, quietly. They didn't acknowledge my presence.
The man clawed at the girls Yukata. She seemed to be years younger than him. I felt remorse.
Just as the man ripped open the girls' Yukata, revealing her breasts, I jumped in.
I grabbed the man by the head. I was much taller than him. I dug my nails into his cheeks and squeezed.
The girl fell to the floor, covering the breasts quickly, staring up at me in petrifying shock.
I squeezed the man's head more, he cried out at the compressing pain. Blood trickled down the sides of his face and out his nose.
His eyes became blood-shot quickly, and rolled back in his head. Blood seeped out of his eyes, his groaning becoming strained.
I pushed harder, using my inhumane strength to shatter his skull.
My hands clapped together with a splat, soaked in blood. The man's head imploded under my force. His brain matters flung in every direction. They stuck to and dripped down my Kimono. They covered the walls with blood, chunks of brain coaxed in the red metallic liquid.
The girl quivered, soaking in the man's blood.
I let go of the excess skin I was holding, his headless body dropping to the ground, pooling out all sorts of bodily liquid.
I turned to the girl, and stepped forward. I heard a squelch under my sandal. I stepped back, wondering what I stood on.
It is an eyeball. Or, was an eyeball.
It's content was spread out, and covered the bottom of my shoe.
"P-p-please d-don't" She cried, quivering and shaking. Tears streamed down her face, mixing with the blood and brain on her cheeks.
She put a bloody hand out, caring little about the torn Yukata, exposing her chest once more.
"Hmm. Your name?" I asked, bending down to her. I looked only in her eyes, having decency not to invade her privacy.
"I-Immex. Immex Machakistu" She said, more confident.
Immex? Askin Koraukou's girlfriend?
"Hmm. I know you, Immex. I will let you live if you tell one person something for me. Search up and down for him until you deliver this message" I said.
She nodded, quickly obliging.
"Tell one, Tsugikuni Yoriichi that Michikatsu is alive, and now what he swore to kill. Tell him that I will end his sorry little life, and eradicate Sun breathing. Got it?" I asked.
She nodded, then her eyes widened.
"M-michikatsu? Is that you?" She asked.
I nodded.
"I- oh heavens. Uhm. I will deliver the message. I promise. A-and just to let you know, Akeno is well. As is Sumire."
I stood up.
"Thank you, Machakistu." I smiled then turned away.
I then stopped in my tracks. I grabbed a discarded Haroi in the alleyway and walked to her. I draped it over her shoulders and covered her chest.
"Apologies. Have a good night" I said.
"Good night to you as well, Michikatsu." She said.
I grabbed the man and ran off.
[ GORE OVER!!! ALTHOUGH THERE IS A PLOT POINT IN THERE :D ]

I arrived back, throwing the man on the floor.
"And what of the woman?"
"I spared her." I said bluntly.
Next thing I knew, I was being pulled by my Kimono to face Muzan.
"YOU WHAT?!" He shouted in my face.
"I have my reasoning." I said and broke from his angry grasp.
"I knew her. And she knows Yoriichi. She will send him a message. She is also the temporary and most likely forever permanent parent to my kid. So I owe her gratitude for that." I explained.
Muzan's hard glare didn't edge.
"So? She dies at the end of the day." He shrugged.
"Have some sympathy for once in your sorry fucking life, gosh" I said and sat on the floor, taking off an arm from the corpse.
Muzan sat opposite me.
"Let us stop this bickering or we won't even make it to the wedding" he said.
That's right. We're engaged.
Who's fucking idea was that?
In all honesty, I respect the man more than i love him, but I wouldn't mind trading off my life for him.
I still adore and love him, but it's subsided with anger towards Yoriichi. Only when he is gone, can I really love Muzan.
I gnawed down at the arm, saving the bone for later and spitting out the clothing.
I looked up at Muzan, whilst also focusing on my food.
"Aren't you eating?" I mumbled
"Not entirely hungry."
I glared at him "That's a lie. Something is bothering you"
"Yeah. We're engaged and you just said, into your mind, that you didint fucking love me." He looked up from where his head was hung low.
I felt a wave of guilt wash through me and wiped my mouth of blood. I still had some in my hair, clothes and face but I was uncaring of that.
I looked at Muzan, he looked like shattered glass through my eyes.
How I saw it was odd. It was like normal vision, just I could see higher or lower, and it was obvious where the sets of eyes were as a broken glass effect separated them. It was annoying but I have started to be able to move my eyes independently. It gives me the upper hand in most simple tasks like lighting a fire, or hunting.
"Did you not finish reading my mind? I said it was replaced with anger for my brother. I still love you but I can't to my fullest until Yoriichi is dead. Do you understand more?" I got up, circling around the corpse and sitting next to him, we both turned our bodies to be looking at each other.
I placed a hand on his cheek, using my thumb to rub slightly. He leaned into it.
I moved in, giving him a quick kiss on his lips.
"Are you hungry now?" I asked.
He nodded "Thank you"
I smiled and turned to the man, I didn't bother sitting opposite him even though it was seen as 'rude' and 'untraditional'
We ate the man, and grabbed the broken bones.
I went and grabbed the large stone Mortar and Pestle from the cabinet and brought it back.
Muzan chucked the bones into the Mortar and Pestle.
Together, we clasped our hands over one another and grinded the bones down.
After grinding, we took the broken bones outside. It was raining quite heavily, much to Muzans disliking.
I felt the dried, crispy blood on my face run down, wet from the rain.
"Go inside. I will put these down and wash myself in the rain as to not use up the well. Go start a fire" I said and kissed his forehead.
He obliged, walking inside as I knelt down.
I saw red droplets run off my face to the soil. My hair was dampening by the second.
I grabbed pasty handfuls of the crushed bone and plastered them around the plants.
The hard rain turned quickly into thunder, singing low tunes above my head. I sighed, finishing my gardening session and trotting inside.
On my travels, I saw a dying Spider lily.
I knelt down, picking it up. I left the Mortar outside to wash and brought the Spider lily inside.
I shut the door behind me, glancing at Muzan with two eyes. He was lighting a fire. I placed the spider lily in a pot, filled with different herbs and body parts to nurse it to health.
"Your soaking wet, go change before you mould up the carpet" He said.
I left the for bathroom, grabbing two Yukatas along the way. One black, one white.
I changed into the white one, knowing Muzan would have my head if he wore any white.
Even though I am forcing him to wear a white Kimono at the wedding.
That thought out of my head, I went to the now warm living room. The rumbling of the thunder outside was loud.
"Muzan, love. Can you do my hair?" I asked, kneeling down in front of him. He sat on the couch.
"Hmm" He hummed, taking the twine from my hands.
He tied it up into a bun, to let it not get in my way. It was a simple act but I treasured it dearly.
He was so delicate. So quick-working and agile.
He went off the change.
I added another log to the fire, in hopes of warming the cold hut up.
Muzan returned shortly, and pulled me onto the couch.
I grabbed a book.
The Tale of the Heike.
It was one of my favourite playwrights. By Kanze Motokiyo.
"You've read that hundreds of times." Muzan commented, resting on my side.
"No wonder it's my favourite then" I commented.
I started from page one, reading the prologue of the play.
Each word meant something.
I don't know how long I read, but I felt my eyelids closing and myself drifting off.
